Settle in and spread out at this welcoming alpine lodge. Redwood is truly unique for its size, layout, and classic ski-lodge character—offering eight bedrooms and nine and a half baths across three spacious floors. While the maximum occupancy is limited to 8 guests, the home provides an exceptional amount of private space, quiet corners, and room to relax, making it ideal for families, small groups, or multi-generational stays where everyone appreciates having their own bedroom. Designed for fun, casual gatherings year-round, this one-of-a-kind home feels like your own private ski lodge. It's located just down the road from Stowe's famed Trapp Family Lodge (walk to the Bierhall!) and only minutes from the village, offering easy access to recreation, dining, and outdoor adventures.
The great room is the heart of the home, with cathedral ceilings, a cozy gas fireplace, plush couches, and a large flat-screen TV—perfect for relaxing after a day outside. Step through to the spacious deck, where a gas grill and wrap-around bench seating make outdoor meals and evening gatherings easy. Cooking for the group is a pleasure in the well-stocked kitchen, featuring a six-burner stove, large breakfast bar, and a 10-foot farmhouse table ideal for shared meals, game nights, or planning the next day's adventures.
Upstairs, a balcony lounge overlooking the great room offers another comfortable hangout space with a TV and poker/game table—great for conversation, cards, or quiet downtime. Across the home's three levels, all eight bedrooms include their own private bathrooms, offering privacy and flexibility rarely found in vacation rentals. The lower level is made for kids (and kids-at-heart) with a game room featuring a large-screen TV and pool table. Two dorm-style bedrooms on this level include two sets of bunk beds plus a single bed in each room, creating a fun, camp-like space for younger guests. To complete the ski-lodge experience, the home features a massive mudroom with abundant gear storage, perfect for skis, boots, bikes, and outdoor equipment.
