This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 8 with king bed in primary, another king bed, and 2 queen sleeper sofas. It features 50% more square footage than the average 2-bedroom condo. Gorgeous views from the balcony, overlooking Dercum Square so you can watch family and friends ice skate or play miniature golf. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Buffalo Lodge offers shared amenities including 2 hot tubs.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV above a beautiful gas fireplace and plenty of space to move around. There are two queen-sized sleepers sofas with memory foam mattresses. Additional sheets and blankets are in a closet. The private balcony is located just off of the living area and offers views of the mountains and the ice skating rink during the winter and miniature golf during the summer.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats six with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. Just down the hall is the first of two full bathrooms. It has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV. There is a dedicated workspace near its entrance. The en suite bathroom has double sinks and a door separates the shower/tub combination and toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom also has a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV.

The condo was clean, had a kitchen with everything needed to create great meals, and plenty of room for spending evenings playing games, talking, or watching movies after long days of hiking or being on the nearby lake. Keystone Village was a great place to grab meals or spend time relaxing! I highly recommend these accommodations.

The condo itself is very spacious and clean. Dishwasher needs some care. The building elevators are giving problems. At one time, both elevators stopped working. The one going to the garage is especially bad, in our one week stay, this elevator was down for three days.

Decent condo

Overall the lodge was nice, spacious and cozy. Check in was fairly easy but you do have to drive off property to pickup the key cards. The condo itself was a little dated and has a very musky and unpleasant odor. Beds and bedding were pretty uncomfortable but rooms were spacious. More towels would have been great but we made it work. Snow plows were going at 545am which was very loud right outside the window. That was really unfortunate! Loved the pool tables on the first floor and the close proximity to everything! We were excited to enjoy the hot tub but once we went down it was packed and the water was super foamy ever since, needless to say we had to pass that up. Overall, it was okay for the price.

Great Morning and Evening Views

We stayed as a family of 5 and had a great time as usual. Walk to gondola and to all lunch/dinners...and each morning, the views of the mountains were spectacular as well as evening sunsets. Overlooks Dercum's ice rink and all amenities were on-site.

Great location could use a little maintenance

It was great staying in the Village for the wine and jazz Festival. The condo was clean. The primary bathroom could use updating. We were missing a screen in one window in the primary and the blinds were missing a slat. The bedding could also use some updating.

When we reported to management that the fireplace wasn't working, they were quick to respond and said that a maintenance person would be over within the next day. The maintenance person never showed up. We contacted them again about a day later and they said they would send someone but no one showed up again. I asked a final time and they said they weren't going to be able to fix it for me.

There is two bathrooms, one in the master. Speaking of the master, I loved the layout of it. The bathroom was inside the room, but separated from the bed area by a closet. This provides privacy from the person sleeping in the room with you. The hot tubs and the building were clean and nicely located in the village.

Upon arrival we found a clean, beautiful condo in a great location. Our group was in town for a training seminar, so the fact it was near the convention center was ideal. It is within walking distance of a few restaurants, and using the convenient shuttle service for further restaurant destinations was also painless and easy. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone staying in the Keystone area. Great price, easy booking, and excellent communication.

Worked Great for Us...A Couple of Things to Know

There was a bit of a rocky start as there was no mention in our welcome packet from the management company that the single elevator from the garage level has been out for more than 7 months which we learned from an owner in Buffalo Lodge after we had unloaded everything for our extended weekend. This particular cart, the only in the area, had a bad wheel so walked up levels to find another, reload and shuttle a significant distance from one end of the parking lot to the other, out the garage door to the street, around to the far end front of Buffalo Lodge, up the ramp to the lobby elevator. It seemed that it would have been a small but important detail for the management company to let us know. The unit was very clean which was noticed by our party and appreciated spacious living and bedrooms.The kitchen was well stocked with items needed to prepare meals including a crock pot. The only thing missing was salt and pepper supposed to be provided. As another reviewer mentioned all the cabinets and drawers are full of kitchen items so there is no pantry for dry goods. Both bedrooms had comfortable bedding with softish mattresses that were somehow strangely squeaky with movement. Liked the wood floors in the kitchen and living space while the bedrooms and hallway had old, likely original carpet with stains like many of the units. Chairs and especially couches were worn but comfortable enough. The chandelier over the dining table was purely ornamental and inadequate for lighting for our game night but there was an inexpensive floor lamp provided for supplemental light.Overall, the unit was fine for our weekend but if you party is looking for a fresh, upscale unit, this may not be for you.

Keystone CO 2022 Thanksgiving Week

The property is a lovely spacious condo in a great location with nice views through all windows and good amenities including ski lockers and easy access to the River Run gondola. A huge con was the horrible property management response to equally horrible housekeeping. We found that none of the bed linen was changed for our stay. I went through my usual checks of pulling back the quilt etc. to examine the White linen and found the telltale strands of hair from different body parts on the fitted sheet, the flat sheet and the pillow covers. I took pictures and videos of what I was observing and called the number provided for property management only to be rudely hung up on after being curtly told that regular housekeeping was performed and inspected and that they will "try" to send out fresh linen. Naturally furious, I managed to find their office upstairs from the key pickup lobby a mile or so from the property and after an unpleasant exchange with the same lady who had hung up on me earlier came away with a sack of 2 linen sets she took about 10 suspicious minutes to put together somewhere in the building. Upon returning to the apartment we discovered she had given us 4 fitted sheets (no flat sheet) of which only 1 actually fit one of the beds. To top it soon became apparent that some of them were not fresh either with sighs of usage going by the multiple strands of hair on them. In contrast, to the credit of the emergency number responders they were polite and sent yet another set of linen but by then we had lost trust and decided to launder the sheets clean. Exhausted, with a 68 year old and a 9 year old in tow, we ended up purchasing a $18 bottle of Tide and using the basement laundry to wash the sheets (the coin operated detergent dispensers were also broken and swallowed a bunch of quarters without dispensing a detergent packet) I changed my mind from 3 stars to 2 stars because the evening of our arrival turned into a hellish experience between the rudeness and the errands between the office and the local store to make basic clean linen available. It did not end there however, when picking up the linen a kinder gentleman at the office informed me that 1 of 3 boilers supplying water to the property was broken and heating could be an issue and went on to provide 2 space heaters that I carried back to the apartment, not to mention that I had to adjust them more than once each night as they did not always respond to the pre-set temperature
