About this property

Loft barn in the Breton marshes of Vendée - Pets welcome

This barn was completely restored in 2008 and became a large loft of 90 m² American kitchen fridge-freezer, gas stove with microwave, coffee maker kettle, toaster, 1 bed 160, 1 bed 90, 1 baby bed on request 1 sofas, 2 TV chairs, wifi per box. Bed and bathroom linen at no extra charge and beds made, shower room, WC.
The charm of the original frame and the warm atmosphere of the paneling.
Depending on the season, we will share with you garden vegetables, aromatic plants or clams caught in Gois.
You will benefit from a large area of greenery and pine forest not overlooked for your barbecue and relaxing afternoon.
We are on an old island 'Boisseau Island', today a village of a hundred souls and a few cows, donkeys, sheep, ducks. You can observe many birds there. The village is located 4 km from the village of St Gervais and 5 km from Beauvoir-sur-mer.
You will find 2 super markets and all the amenities of a small coastal town
Beauvoir sur mer is connected to the Noirmoutier island by the passage of Gois (4km submersible causeway), a phenomenon unique in Europe which attracts many visitors especially for high tides as well as the rising tide race (Foulées du Gois) in June.
The departure of the boat for the island of Yeu is at the Barre de Monts crossing 30 'for a nice day of bike ride.
Notre Dame de Monts beach of the wind with kites and kite surfers
The superb beach of St Jean de Monts is only 18 km lively in July August casino, talasso etc.
Les Sables d Olonne and its Vendée-globe (mythical race around the world without assistance)
Vendée benefits from 220 km of coastline and the hinterland is rich with typical villages and cultural and festive activities:
ecomuseum of the Vendée marsh 'Daviaud'
1900 fairs in Challans on summer Thursdays
Sallertaine artists' village with its mill in activity and its canoe trips in the neighboring marshes.
Visits to active salt marshes and the Bec oyster port at Beauvoir sur mer
On the island of Noirmoutier, medieval castle, aquarium, water park, Butterfly island etc.
Pornic and the Jade coast with its fisheries and customs trails half an hour away
 The large Puy du Fou park and its cinescenie is 100 km away for an unforgettable dive into the past.

Couple d’hôtes absolument charmant Discret mais attentifs aux besoins de leurs invités . La grange bien aménagée a conservé une certaine rusticité . Quelques jours de repos chez Yvette et Daniel. Depuis la grange/loft nous avons visité la région. Les bons petits restos n'étaient jamais très loin. Séjour bien agréable. Merci à Yvette et Daniel pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité.

Entre mer et campagne, cette grange loft est très bien aménagée en plein milieu des Marais Vendéens/Bretons. Sur le continent, a proximité de Pornic, et non loin de Noirmoutiers. Un sejour reposant avec des hôtes tres chaleureux et au petit soin. Lieu ideal pour un couple.

Un petit coin de paradis

Yvette et Lionel sont deux personnes adorables et d'une grande discrétion. Ils ont toujours un petit mot gentil et partagent volontiers les produits de leur environnement si la saison s'y prête. Le logement est spacieux, bien meublé, bien équipé, propre et décoré avec goût. L'environnement est très calme et est constitué d'un très grand espace vert donnant sur les marais. La proximité du marais crée d'ailleurs une atmosphère feutrée, propice au repos et à la sérénité. La boulangerie est à 7 min et le pain est très bon. Proche de Salertaine également, ville d'artistes en été. Près du passage du guois, un vrai plus. Le séjour a vraiment été très agréable. Nous avions besoin de nous ressourcer, d'échapper à l'ambiance chaude et stressante d'une mégalopole, nous sommes repartis de la Vendée apaisés, avec une très grande envie d'y retourner. Merci Yvette et Lionel pour votre accueil et votre joie de vivre. A bientôt

Rust en natuur

Heel charmant huis midden in de natuur, omgeven door moerassen en zoutvelden. Lieve verhuurders die ons verse vijgen gaven en ons hielpen wanneer nodig. Goede uitvalsbasis om naar Ile d’yeu en Ile de Noirmoutier te gaan. Dit is zeker een aanrader.
