Beautiful house

This place is really beautiful. If you're looking for a quiet holiday near the sea this is for you. Thierry is very friendly, hospitable and helpful. He speaks perfect English, so even if your French is not too good, it's easy to communicate. Everyting went really smoothly. The house has two bedrooms (one doesn't have a door, but a curtain), there's no Wifi and really bad mobile reception. Other than that the place was perfect for us. Really cosy and comfortable. The kitchen has all the supplies, all the things work the way they should. Beds are comfortable too. It's a twenty minute walk to the beach. You can get food and supplies in Muzzilac which is very close. Billiers has two little shops, but we weren't able to find out when they were actually open. Al in all it's really beautiful. Recommended especially to families and couples.

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) haben unseren Aufenthalt im kleinen, ruhigen Billiers bei Thierry (sehr netter Vermieter) sehr genossen. Das Haus ist einfach, aber praktisch mit allem nörtigem eingerichtet. Einzig die etwas kurzen Betten und die Waschmaschine in einem niedrigen Kriechkeller sind für sehr große Menschen eher nicht so gut geeignet. Vemisst haben wir (vor allem die Kinder ;-) nur einen WLAN-Anschluss. Die Betten sind recht fest (was mir persönlich sehr gut gefällt), aber natürlich auch geschmackssache ist. Das Meer und der nächste, etwas größere Ort Muzillac (mit Supermärkten etc.) ist nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Vor Ort gibt es einen kleinen Laden, in dem man das nötigste und vor allem sehr leckeres Baquette und Crepes bekommt. Zudem gibt es einen sehr schönen Kiosk/Lottoannahmstelle mit integrierter großer Bar und sehr gutem Kaffee/Cidre/Wein. Die Natur und die wirklich netten, gastfreundlichen Menschen in Billiers/der Bretagne sind wunderbar und die wunderschönen historischen Städte Vannes und Nantes sehr emfehlenswert für Tagesausflüge. Für uns als Strandurlauber war allerdings die Fahrt in das ca. 30 KM entfernte Landrezac für adäquaten Strand/Meer notwendig. Der Urlaub in der Bretagne hat uns dennoch sehr gut gefallen. Frankreich und die wunderbaren Menschen dort sind einfach nur großartig - Vive la france!

Tres bonne adresse a decouvrir

Coup de foudre pour cette petite maison ou tout est bien étudié décoré avec beaucoup de goût et des matériaux de qualité . La terrasse et le jardin sont vraiment appréciés. Tres bon accueil de Thierry et très grande réactivité en cas de besoin.

Sehr schönes Haus in schöner Lage

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in dem sehr schön gestalteten Haus. Wir haben die Veranda oft benutzt und auch den tollen Gasherd. Wer gerne kocht, findet hier eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Mit den beiden Fahrrädern haben wir kürzere Touren unternommen. Alles in Allem würden wir jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wir, Familie mit zwei Jungs (7 und 13 Jahre) und einem großen Hund, haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Kleiner Strand in 20 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, größere Strände schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Schöne Ausflugsziele in der näheren Umgebung.

Nous venons de passer une semaine dans ce très beau gîte. Nous avons profité tous les jours de la terrasse du fait d’une météo estivale. Le gîte est très agréable, bien situe, bien décoré (mais sans excès),et tout le nécessaire est à notre disposition ! On s’y sent bien … voire trop bien ! Pas trop envie de repartir. Adresse à noter dans les cahiers pour y revenir.

Une maison paisible

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à billiers ! Le propriétaire nous a bien accueilli et nous avions une bouteille de cidre et de bonnes crêpes bretonnes à notre arrivée ! Après 11 h de route ce petit cadeau était vraiment le bienvenu ! La maison est très bien située, nous avons accès très rapidement à la voie rapide qui nous emmène à nos divers lieux de visites. Le coin est très calme. En ce qui concerne la maison, elle est très agréable à vivre, joliment décorée de poissons... petite terrasse très agréable d'où nous avons une vue très agréable et paisible ! Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour ! Merci !

The perfect holiday home we have been looking for a long time

We really enjoyed staying at les deux sardines that is a fisherman cottage renovated with perfect taste by its owners (we particularly enjoyed the kitchen and the outside deck ). No IKEA furniture here but well chosen items. There are plenty of walks from the house and the beach is very close. The village is ideally located between La Roche-Bernard, petite cité de caractère, and Vannes with le golfe du Morbihan in the middle. We had a day exploring the beautiful island of Belle-île. There are so many interesting places to visit that a week is not enough. We will be back soon.

La maison est très bien située dans un bourg avec des petits commerces et proche du bord de mer. Elle est très agréable, bien agencée et offre tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour aux deux sardines et y retournerons avec plaisir. Le propriétaire est très à l'écoute et réactif aux demandes. Parfait!

The house is located in the very small but very close to the beach (just 2km) calm Billiers. This beautiful house is big enough for 4, has 2 bedrooms and an open kitchen with livingroom. What makes this place perfect ist that it is decorated in a very personal, beautiful way and has on the other hand really everything you need for a perfect stay. You realize that this is a place used by the owner as well and not only for tourists. The house is even more spacious and beautiful than shown in the pictures. Lovely cottage full of character

We (family of 4, children aged 7 & 6) had a wonderful stay in The 2 Sardines in Billiers in August 2017. The cottage is beautifully decorated, full of character, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Thierry's communication throughout the booking process and at the beginning and end of the holiday was faultless, despite the language barrier! He couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating, even driving back to the property on our first evening when we had a problem with the door lock. I have no hesitation in recommending this property to couples and young families wishing to taste a little of what Brittany seaside life has to offer. Thank you again, Thierry! From the Dohertys.
