Hostess with the Mostest, Susie, is a lovely person and she owns the restaurant (great breakfast and fried chicken) right below the unit. Very convenient. I was very pleased with my accommodations. The bed was comfy and clean. The bathroom looked like it was newly remodeled and was also spotless. I didn’t use the kitchen much, but it was perfect for short stays. Overall, it was a great experience and I would stay again. In fact, I will likely stay again very soon! Thank you, Susie!
We have stayed at Susie’s properties numerous times and have always been pleased each time. The location is vey convenient.

A great location and perfect small apartment for 2 people!
Clean, well-furnished apartment atop a great restaurant and within the heart of an adorable downtown area with plenty of cute shops to wander through. We would stay here again!
The Loft is a great place to stay with everything you want and need so close. Susie is a fantastic hostess and her place is always pristine and well maintained.
This is our 5th stay in one of Susie’s properties and our 4th stay in this unit. Clean and comfortable as always. Great convenient location for Academy events.

Convenient, cozy, clean
When we are in Culver we are usually on the go visiting with our son at the academy. The apartment was perfect for us. The bed was comfy, the place was clean and we were even able to do a little laundry there. We would come back again.

Grad Weekend
Comfortable and convenient stay. I initially had concerns about the street parking but it was not an issue. The listing notes that a sound machine is provided to help drown out noise from the cafe/kitchen below. Although the restaurant remained busy, we did not find a need for the noise machine.
We plan to utilize this property again.
The apartment is located about 23 stairs above the ground floor and our check-in was a little confusing as to where to pick up our key and the exact location of our reserved apartment on the upstairs floor. Several people were very helpful getting the key for us and then leading us to the correct apartment. It was nicely furnished and the bed was fresh and clean. The kitchen had adequate dish ware and utensils. We did not need to do much cooking, mainly just breakfast and sometimes lunch. For us the best things about our stay was that it was quiet and we were close to Culver downtown activities, the lakeshore and Culver Academy—all places that were high priority for us during this visit.
The Loft was a great place to stay, come, and go!
It's not fancy here but this isn't what we came for. This is a low-key place where you can be comfortable, move around in different rooms, make some easy food or reheat your leftovers from the town, sit and relax without being on top of each other. We didn't use the W/D or cook a meal, but it was great for sleeping in, toasting a bagel, drinking coffee, then getting on your way. We ventured around town and came back for mini rests before the next event - this place is perfect for such.
The owner Susie is sweet - we met her at Cafe Max. Cafe Max was our favorite meal, apart from Papa's Pan Pizza. Nothing bad to say about the other restaurants but these were our favorites.
The apartment has great access to Main St. and the fun, eclectic stores. Parking was very easy. Unlike other guests, we were here for the Lake Festival and Culver Homecoming but we never heard noise from below.
There is a historic, downtown, charm while staying here. There are indeed steep stairs to get to the apartments but for us, this was part of the charm!
The apartment was clean, comfortable, and functional. We'd stay here again, for sure! Thanks Susie!
