Excellent Family Home

We spent an enjoyable two weeks at this charming and well situated property. The views from the garden and pergola are magnificent and the house has a wonderful pool. The property has everything for an enjoyable holiday, including table tennis, a fine piano, and extensive gardens.

We had a lovely stay with eight family members. Sufficient space for all, and a lot to explore in the area (Biarritz, St Jean de Luz, San SebastiĂĄn, etc.) Even when the weather is a bit cloudy. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Les chambres sont spacieuses, le mobilier est un plaisir pour les yeux et les couleurs vives et chaudes habillent parfaitement les piĂšces.La piscine est trĂšs grande et Ă  fait le bonheur des grands et des petits.La situation gĂ©ographique est bonne, le charmant village d’Ascain est Ă  2 mn en voiture, 5 mn Ă  vĂ©lo. Il y a d’excellents commerces (la boulangerie du centre ville vaut le dĂ©tour).Saint Jean de Luz est Ă  10 mn en voiture. Et nous avons depuis la maison facilement visitĂ© le pays basque (France et Espagne, les cĂŽtes et l’arriĂšre pays). Nous avons aimĂ©, la table de Ping Ping, la vĂ©gĂ©tation du jardin et la piscine! Sinon la maison est situĂ©e dans le fond d’une zone artisanale derriĂšre un garage auto, loin de tout pourtant c’est bruyant. Vaisselle dĂ©pareillĂ©e, mĂ©nage trĂšs moyen, vieux draps et serviettes, accueil trĂšs moyen, maison non rangĂ©e avec les affaires des proprio, sdb et cuisines vĂ©tustes, pas de transat correct, barbecue sale... Ce n’est pas du tout en rapport avec le prix. Je dĂ©conseille...

Superbe maison

Une magnifique maison, trÚs bien placée pour découvrir le pays Basque. Voiture nécessaire car à l'écart des commerces et du village. La partie terrasse/piscine est super agréable et la verdure et les plantes autour desquelles la maison et le jardin ont été conçus rendent le séjour relaxant et dépaysant. La pluie du pays Basque a été un peu trop au rendez-vous à notre goût mais nous avons pu tous passer de belles vacances, en dévorant les jours de mauvais temps certains des polars de la grande bibliothÚque.

Perfekt ”Basecamp” mitt i Franska Baskien

I Ascain, 10 min frÄn Saint Jean de Luz och mitt i Franska delen av Baskien ligger denna fina och mkt charmiga villa i ett lugnt lÀge. Huset fungerade perfekt som base-camp för vÄra utflukter till kusten, Bilbao och randen av Pyrenéerna. Huset har bra boende för 3 par, mkt bra kök och en underbar veranda i eftermiddags- och kvÀllssol som ocksÄ fungerade mkt bra som solbads-dÀck under varma eftermiddagar.

Superbe maison

Nous sommes accueillis avec gentillesse directement par les propriétaires . La maison est spacieuse, propre et agencé avec gout. Elle est trÚs bien conçue et chacun peut trouver son coin de tranquillité. Au niveau des équipements on trouve pratiquement tout, comme chez soi. Tout le linge de maison est inclus. Le sol est constitué d'un beau parquet en bois ciré trÚs chaleureux. Il nécessite d'en prendre soin (se déchausser, etc...) Tout prÚs de la maison vous trouverez une bonne Pizza, Le village d'Ascain est à 5 mn de voiture et on trouve un Inter marché à Env 7 km.

Eine sehr erholsame Zeit in einem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus

Zu fĂŒnft lĂ€sst sich immer irgendwo im Haus ein RĂŒckzugsort finden, an dem man herrlich lesen und trĂ€umen kann. Alles fĂŒr den tĂ€glichen Gebrauch ist vorhanden, in der großrĂ€umigen KĂŒche mit Plancha auf der Terrasse. Der große Tisch lĂ€dt zum Essen, Lesen und Kartenspielen ein. Die Besitzer haben uns herzlich empfangen und reichlich mit Tipps fĂŒr die Region versorgt. Ein echter Geheimtipp!!

Very nice villa with excellent pool area

We were two families with 4 children i total, staying for one week at the villa. We enjoyed the large house, sufficient for 8 people and also the large pool deck. Perfect setting with large grassyard and nice eveningsun. We did not miss anything and the hosts were very nice in giving great recommendations and greeted us with a Basque cake and cider! I would recommend this villa for families staying in the Basque country!

Tolles Haus in herrlicher Natur

Das Haus liegt mitten im GrĂŒnen mit einem herrlichen Pool und Blick in die Berge. Die Architektur des Hauses ist klasse, die Zimmer sind schön aufgeteilt und ĂŒberall ist viel Licht und Raum. Alles ist ordentlich und sauber. Mit vielen Kindern ist man hier bestens aufgehoben. Zum Meer, zum schönen Ort St Jean de Luz und zum tollen Sandstrand ist es nicht weit...es fĂ€llt jedoch schwer die ruhige, schöne Umgebung des Hauses zu verlassen. SupermĂ€rkte etc. alles in der NĂ€he und gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Ich wĂŒrde hier jederzeit wieder Urlaub machen-je lĂ€nger desto besser ;) und wĂŒrde das Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Des vacances reposantes

La maison est superbe ! Du bois partout, des couleurs chaleureuses ... on s'y est senti "chez nous " tout de suite. Grand repos, quelques excursion mais toujours la baignade " à la maison ", comme disaient les enfants, en fin de journée. Un grand merci !
