This enchanting property, housed in an old building in the heart of Castellammare di Stabia, enjoys a splendid view from the foot of Mount Faito.

Situated in an eighteenth-century palace are two attic rooms (Tetto Lilla and Tetto Verde) both recently renovated in a style which preserves the historical features of the building. The rooms are located on the top (fourth) floor of the building (without elevator), with access to the flower laden communal terrace - the inspiration for the name: Tetto Fiorito!

The hotel owners provide a personal welcome to offer a pleasant and relaxing stay to their guests.

The location of the Tetto Fiorito is both unique and strategic - being only a short 5 minute walk from the Circumvesuviana station of Castellammare di Stabia. Trains for Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples leave from here every 30 minutes. The Faito Cableway is located in the same station where you can take the cable car and be immersed in the countryside in the 7 minutes it takes to reach the 1100 meters summit. The port of Castellammare di Stabia, where you can catch hydrofoils and ferries to Capri, Sorrento and Naples, is only 10 minutes away.

Tetto Fiorito is located in central Castellammare di Stabia, few meters from the Cathedral, the excavations and villa Stabiae; it is an ideal location for a walk by the sea enjoying the spectacular coastal scenery.

A perfect Place!

We loved this place !!!! Antonello and Franscesca were most welcoming and helpful! Everything you can think of were at your disposel. The terassse is big and a lot a space! We can really recomend to rent this appartment!

Good Location for train day trips.

We chose this apartment for its close proximity to the train station. We stayed 4 nights and took day trips to Pompeii/Mt. Vesuvius tour, Sorrento Beach Club, and a day sightseeing in Naples. Francesca and her family were welcoming and even provided laundry detergent when asked to wash one load. Our towels were wet from our day at the beach. We hung them out to dry on the terrace. When we came home later fresh clean towels had been left for us. It is 4 flights of stairs up to the apartment.

Spacious Apartment and Excellent Host

Our stay in Castellammare di Stabia was our third city in our four city vacation. I along with my wife and two daughters ages 18 and 15 started in Venice, then Florence, here then Rome. Antonello did an excellent job communicating with us prior to our arrival. He gave us great directions how to get from the train station just a few blocks away to the building. Unfortunately back in Florence we were directed to the wrong train and ended up near Pompeii and took a nice tour bus to a different train station in Stabia, maybe a mile away. We walked, pulling our luggage but did find the place. None of this was Antonello's fault. Be warned, there is no elevator to the 4th floor, and I believe my wife counted 89 steps, but once you get to the patio that you see in the picture its worth it!. Our apartment was essentially a large studio with a king bed, a twin bed and a chair/bed. Our bed was very comfortable and the girls said there's were comfortable as well. The kitchen was spacious and there was a dining room table. The bathroom was also nice. Antonello was at work when we arrived but we were greeted by his sister Stephania. To our surprise there was a a basket in the kitchen that was well stocked with assorted pastries which got restocked during our stay. There was also a filled cereal dispenser and milk in the refrigerator, as well as juice. After Antonello got off work as a hotel manager in Sorrento he visited with us to assure we had everything we needed. He offered some suggestions as to what we could do. We agreed to a boat tour out of Sorrento that he had received positive feedback from. The next night he stopped by saying he found another boat tour that was 20 Euros per person cheaper. He made all the booking arrangements and gave us excellent instruction on the train schedule and where we would meet our transportation to the boat in Sorrento. The tour was great, and Antonello followed up with us to get feedback on our experience. In regards to the patio, I spent every evening relaxing there. I would definitely stay here again. There are just two things to know, the stairs could/would be difficult for anyone with physical limitations, and even tho there was a cloths washer in our kitchen, it was locked and unavailable. Antonello just said it was for internal use only. I would recommend he change that policy.

Absolute Gem!!

We’re we’re so pleasantly surprised by this property! A wonderful rooftop apartment and deck with everything we needed. A 2 min walk to the train station that we used to get everywhere. The entrance is fun and unexpected- Like a secret little door in a huge old, wooden wall. Antonello and his family were so kind and helpful and answered questions immediately. Apartment was right in the heart of town with many shops and restaurants. Few tourists so very authentic. Loved it!!

Quiet apartment and warm welcome

The apartment is clean, comfortable, well-equiped for cooking ; it's located in the center of Castellammarre di Stabia, so you can do shopping easily. Very nice apartment in the heart of Castellamare. Landlord Antonello is very helpful and likes to serve you best. He organized scooters for us 4 and takes care of everything. Brother-in-low gave us usefull hints, too. We live this family and for sure we will come again. Kisses for the mother.

A perfect base for visiting the area.

My wife and I arrived home yesterday from our first visit to Italy, and Antonello and his family couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Castellammare Di Stabia is a vibrant Italian town which comes to life in the evening, with good bars and restaurants. For visiting the Amalfi coast, Capri, or north to Pompeii and Naples, the train station is 2 minutes walk away, the ferry is 10 minutes, and by the station there is a funicular railway which is well worth taking to the top of Monte Faito. Although we often ate out the kitchen has all that's needed to cook meals, and there are numerous little grocers and delis nearby for authentic Italian food, and not forgetting the most wonderful bread shop about 3 doors up the road, some of the best bread I've ever tasted. I have to say that the stairs up to the fourth floor were quite a climb for my wife and I, but we're both well into our 60s, and they wouldn't be a problem for younger, fitter people. I can strongly recommend a stay Tetto Fiorito

Très bonne adresse, très bon accueil. A recommander.

Le gîte est très agréable, avec sa terrasse sur le toit qui nous a permis de partager l'apéritif avec d'autres hôtes. L'appartement est très propre, bien agencé et fonctionnel pour 3 personnes. La situation près de la gare nous a permis de rayonner vers Pompéi, Naples d'un côté et Sorrento de l'autre, d'où nous avons pu visiter la côte Amalfitaine. Propriétaire accueillant et disponible. A recommander.

An Enchanting Place

My daughter's high school graduation gift was a trip to Pompeii. I didn't want us to stay in a big city like Naples but I wanted to stay someplace that was convenient to Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. This B&B is located only a block and a half from the train station that takes you to Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. The Castellammare Di Stabia is a real Italian coast town with virtually no tourists. My daughter and I got an immersion in italian life. We shopped daily at the bakery, fruit stand and grocery that were right next door. We spent many afternoons in the long park along the seashore. The apartment is an immaculate 1 bedroom with a kitchen (there is a small extra charge for using the kitchen). The patio is breath taking. The pictures don't lie. Antonello, the owner, works for a five star hotel in Sorrento and this place shows it. He was extremely helpful in his suggestions and even found us a flight to Venice that was half the price of the train. I am looking forward to bringing my wife here next year.

Impeccable Taste of the Heart of Italy

Tetto Fiorito provides an impeccable place to experience the heart of Italy. The location is perfect because you are literally in the center of Castellammare Di Stabia and a short drive away from several breathtaking places such as Positano, Amalfi and Sorrento. Within minutes you can walk to the pier where you can reach Capri by sea. If you decide to stay in the city, you can easily walk to sample the local foods, pastries and gelato, or simply stroll down the pedestrian area and watch folks enjoying the sun and breeze. The apartments themselves are extremely clean, comfortable, and well thought out with every detail taken into account. The roof top terrace allows for outdoor meals with a view of the nearby mountain which is a plus. The owner, Antonello, is a consummate professional who truly cares about his guests and their well being. A family run establishment, Tetto Fiorito deserves the highest ratings and recommendations! We plan to make this a family tradition.

Una bellissima vacanza

Abbiamo alloggiato al B&B Tetto Fiorito per 12 giorni in Agosto 2014, precisamente nell'appartamento verde, abbiamo trovato tutto esattamente come indicato sul sito e nelle foto. L'appartamento è una vera "bomboniera" molto curata, tutto nuovo, in un' ottima posizione per poter visitare le mille meraviglie della Campania, da Napoli a Salerno, ottimi collegamenti - sia con la Circumvesuviana che con i traghetti - ci si può dimenticare la macchina I proprietari ci hanno assistito come una vera famiglia (Antonello è un ragazzo veramente intraprendente e preparato, la sua mamma è una vera MAMMA), abbiamo avuto tutte le indicazioni e i consigli utili per poter visitare tutti i posti possibili e siamo stati coccolati con ogni genere di attenzione (meravigliosi gli involtini di melanzane, la pizza fatta in casa e anche una stupenda crostata di frutta fatti espressamente per noi) Assolutamente consigliabile per tutti, soprattutto per chi vuole visitare tutta la Costiera Amalfitana senza spendere troppo. Una vacanza decisamente riuscita!!!

Perfect location, very nice host

The apartment tettofiorito is perfectly located. With the Circumvesuviana you can reach all the important sights from Sorrento, Pompeii, Ercolano to Naples. The station is only a 3 minute walk away. Although the apartment is situated directly in the center of Castellammare, it is amazingly quiet. From the rooftop you have a nice view on the Monte Faito. Unfortunately the Funicolare did not work when we were there, and I have read that it did not work either in 2013. By car it is at least a 1 hour ride up there. Antonello, our host, was really nice and helpful. He gave us useful tipps and whenever we met him, he was asking us if everything was fine. Once he even brought us ice cream. That was very much appreciated! Besides his English was really good, we had absolutely no communication problems. The apartment is declared „Bed & Breakfast“, so the basics for breakfast were already there. We were a bit surprised how densely populated this region around the Vesuvio is, actually we were expecting a dreamy little town when coming to Castellammare. But that is definitely not the case, so be prepared for lots of (Italian-like) traffic, scooters and people. If you really want some silence you have to climb up the mountains. The higher you get, the less people there are. Being Germans we were also shocked by all the garbage lying around in the street. But of course, this is a well-known problem. A must see are the Villa San Marco and Villa Ariana, both excavations of Roman Villae in Castellammare. Free entry and very well preserved!

"This apartment is perfec...

"This apartment is perfectly located as it is 2 minutes from C''mare''s main drag called Villa Comunale and the train station "circumvesuviana" which can take you to Naples (45min) or Sorrento (20min). This town is bustling with people day or night. The Villa Comunale in particular comes alive of an evening with plenty of people, couples strolling, people riding bikes, kids playing and regular display of live music.There is ample shops in the area including supermarkets but there are plenty of small grocery stores ("Salumeria") too that sell cold meats such as prosciuto, salami, pasta, cheeses etc. The apartment we stayed at was the purple room. It was very nicely designed and furnised. I was quite surprised when i got in there after having climbed 4 flights of stairs. I actually forgot about the climb once i got into the room. It truly is nice to come home to a lovely apartment such as this one. Well equipped, windows are double glazed which helps a lot with noise as you are in the heart of the town. Of an evening, the courtyard has spectacular views of Mount Faito and surrounding town buildings. It''s nice to sit out there and just gaze and relax. The host, Antonello, was very obliging and helpful. He speaks english which is not too common in those parts of italy. We''re glad we stayed at Tetto Fiorito. Claudio Melbourne, AUSTRALIA "

"I stayed in the Lilac apartment for just two days but it was a perfect place for my short stay. The terrace is wonderful too...Antonello (and his mother) were perfect hosts and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area."
