Great location & Welcome

Joel was a terrific host. He welcomed us with food and coffee. The location is terrific--can walk to anywhere in Central Madrid. Very bright and clean apartment in elevator building.

Wunderbar

Freundlicher und netter Kontakt sowie Empfang direkt durch Joel. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön (Altbaucharme mit moderner Ausstattung) und die Lage ebenfalls. Die bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir würden definitiv wieder die Ferienwohnung nutzen.

Great apartment

The apartment was great - perfectly sized and equipped for our little family of 3 (but 4 would be happily accommodated). Joel has provided everything that could be needed and it is a lovely place to stay. The street can be a bit noisy at night but that’s only to be expected in the centre of the city. Great location for wandering to Madrid’s many sights. Would highly reccommend a wander to the local Anton Martin Mercardo for food and drinks - great find recommended by our hosts!

Superb Apartment

Great apartment, great location, great host. Joel was at the apartment to greet us when we arrived and kept in touch throughout a stay. Great location no need to use the metro to get anywhere within the city centre. If we were to visit Madrid again, which I am sure we will, Joel's apartment will be top of our list. Thank you for a great time.

Apartamento en Calle de la Magdalena, Madrid

Excelente lugar para disfrutar a Madrid. Localicalización al lado de la Plaza Tirso de Molina (en el centro pero lejos del bullicio y la congestión), cómodo, limpio y con toda la dotación, muy bien las camas, baño y cocina y con ascensor (quinto piso). Y Joel un excelente anfitrión! Volvería sin dudarlo!!

Excellent experience in Madrid!

If planning to visit Madrid, this place has an excellent location. Joel, the host has taken care of every detail to make sure you feel at home. It is a neat and well designed apartment continently steps away from food markets, metro train station, restaurants & bars , and walking distance to all major tourist attractions. I would recommend it to anyone planning Madrid as their destination!

5 Star Price and location but ....

Pros: excellent location for sightseeing, great price, fast communication w owner, easy check in, reliable internet, coffee/milk/bread/oranges waiting for us Cons: Bathtub/shower NOT clean and needs new caulk, Sleeps 5 but coffee maker for 2 and only 2 coffee cups available, no closet or dresser in 1 bedroom so had to live out of suitcase on the floor, lots of noise from street below

Madrid adventure

Amazing Experience

From Booking to communication,arriving and departing everything was flawless.Joel is an amazing professional when it comes to hosting.Location of the appartment is extremely conveniently located and had more than what we needed.The only negative about our stay was NOT ENOUGH DAYS SPENT THERE! Excellent choice!

This property was more than we expected! It was perfect for our 3 night stay. We walked in to find coffee, tea, and snacks waiting on us. The location is perfect--so close to everything you'd ever need! Joel (and his cousin Maria) were extremely accommodating and Joel communicated with us often during our stay. If you're going to be in Madrid for more than a night or two, this is your place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic first time to Madrid

Travelled to Madrid with 2 young children and found Joel's apartment really comfortable with everything we needed. There was great communication from Joel from initial queries through to departure and it was lovely that he was there to meet us on arrival with oranges and milk. The location was perfect - we walked to everything we wanted to see and plenty of options for food. What a brilliant and friendly city, and a very happy stay at this apartment. Muchas gracias!

Perfect Stay - Nice Apartment March 14-21, 2019

We stayed at Calle Magdalena from March 14 Thru the 21st 2019. The apartment was Perfect. Joel waited for us to arrive with my wife and son. Getting to the apartment from the Barajas was easy. After we arrived at Atocha station from the Yellow express bus, we took the metro - two stops later we exited at Tirso de Molina. Walked about 2 minutes. The apartment is on the 5 floor with an elevator. What you see in the pictures is what you will get! Joel gave us the run down, keys and the mini market up the street, he had tangerines, milk and coffee on the kitchen table for us (nice touch). We had a fantastic time. Plaza de Sol, Plaza Mayor, Plaza Santa Ana, Prado Museum, National Place and Atocha Station all in walking distance from the apartment. We took the metro to various points around Madrid even to the Bull Ring. We did three mini day trips to Toledo, Avila and Segovia. The apartment was clean - Kitchen had all what we needed. We did cook dinner one night. There is a fresh open market down the street. Nice size refrigerator for our food for breakfast and beverages. No problems at all. We never heard or saw the neighbors in the building. Joel did contact us to see how we were doing. Towels and beds super clean as well with the bathroom. We had Wifi and cable TV. Check out was easy. We will be going back to Madrid and staying at Joel's apartment in the near future. I have spoken to many friends and family, this is place to stay!!!!! Gracias Joel por Todo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
