We are so glad we booked this lovely house. The communication with Nathalie was excellent and any questions we had were answered promptly. The house is conveniently located, a few minutes from Blaye, the citadel and the ferry across the Gironde. There are too many places of interest to list but we would recommend Plassac where you can have a light lunch by the water, Talmont and Royan. We were really sad to leave this lovely house and giving each category 5 stars seems to be selling the property and communication short!

Ein grosses,schön eingrichtetes Haus mit Stil in der Nähe der Girondemündung. Weindegustation im Weiler war sehr unkompliziert. Lebenmittelladen und Bäckerei im Dorf mit dem Fahrrad in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Schöner Garten in sehr ruhiger Umgebung. Transparenz fehlte uns bei der Reinugungpauschale, welche erst im Kleingedruckten des Mietvertrags ohne Angabe des Betrags notiert wurde und wir übesehen hatten. So konnte die Putzfrau verlangen, was sie wollte.Wir bezahlten so noch zusätzlich 75 Euro.

Maison très agréable et accueillante

Tout le séjour sest tres bien passé dans cette maison au charme ancien et avec toute l'utilité moderne actuelle. Cet endroit (normalement) calme est une merveille. Nous sommes un peu loin des plages mais la tranquillité des lieux nous a fait oublier cette distance. Laccueil et l'organisation sont parfaits. Seule ombre au tableau : la maison mitoyenne du propriétaire a été le sujet d'une bonne fiesta avec la musique des (grands) enfants jusqu'à 3h du mat pour notre dernière nuit...😮‍💨😮‍💨. Cet endroit aurait mérité ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ étoiles !

Una tristeza total

La casa y el entorno es una maravilla. Una planta baja con cocina bien equipada, un salón grande y una habitación con baño. Y en la planta de arriba: dos habitaciones grandes, un baño y una pequeña zona de juegos para niños. Un jardín grande con mesas y sillas. Y un garaje con bicicletas. Hasta aquí, digamos que todo bien. Pero...la comunicación con la propietaria fue bien al principio. Educada. Llegamos a las 20.30 y no había nadie. Menos mal que el sitio está alejado y solitario. No funcionaba el agua caliente, había alguna que otra araña con su telaraña, la ducha de arriba tenía roto el enganche del "teléfono" y debajo de las camas no se había limpiado hacía tiempo. Y sin toallas. Pero no importaba, la casa era una maravilla. A la mañana siguiente aparece un señor que me pide el mando del garaje (que no sabía que existía y amablemente nos ayuda a solucionar lo del agua fría). Un día sin agua estuvimos. Luego vino Mrs. Gerry, la que se debía encargar de la entrada y salida de la casa en ausencia de la dueña. Según la dueña sabía inglés. Pues bueno, sabía tanto inglés como yo kazajo. La dueña me comenta que si vamos a limpiar nosotros o lo hace Mrs. Gerry. Le comento que siempre lo hacemos nosotros. Nos quiere cobrar 75€. Le comento lo de las toallas y me dice que viene en la web. Aún sigo intentando encontrarlo. Una mentira que nos ha costado 60 € en toallas. Vayamos al final de la historia. El día de la salida limpiamos la casa: bañaos, cocina, habitaciones, pasamos la aspiradora, duchas... Hicimos lo que hacemos siempre y nunca ha habido ninguna queja, pero ninguna. Vino Mrs. Gerry, le dijimos que se nos había roto un sillín de una bicicleta. Nos desea un buen viaje y au revoir. Nos llega el siguiente mensaje en francés con cuatro fotos: "La casa no se ha limpiado a fondo (cuarto frigorífico, fregona no pasada y baño no hecho...) y un sillín de bicicleta está roto". Es una pena no poder adjuntar las fotos, pero están hechas por los mejores investigadores de los CSI Las Vegas, Miami, New York y Albacete. Absolutamente impresionante. Y encima intenta cobrarme los 75€ (su único afán) a través de esta plataforma. Una pena.
