Why Hal and Margie Kluttz chose Lansing
Hal and Margie have been spending time in Ashe County since they were married over (30) years ago. They fell in love with the cabins along the peaceful shores of the Big Horse Creek.
What makes this Cabin unique
Spending the summer nights listening to the water flow down the creek from our open bedroom window was relaxing beyond description. There is just so much to see and do in Ashe County. This became our home away from home.

Location, cabin and grounds were exceptional!! We loved it and will be going back in near future!
Quiet mountain getaway
The property was above and beyond expectations! Super clean, everything (appliances, TV, hot tub) worked perfectly. The area was beautiful, very remote...we were located just feet off the road, but almost no traffic went by. Would definitely return for another quiet getaway!
The sounds of the creek will call us back
We loved it here and will likely stay again.
This is about our 5th stay and it’s always perfect. Thanks for sharing
Quiet and peaceful
The cabin was great. It was very relaxing listening to the creek, while in the hot tub. Directions to the cabin would have been nice. It was hard to find. The stay itself was quiet and that is what we needed. I would like to come back.
Our cabin is nestled in the rural community of Husk along the peaceful and beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, located along historic Big Horse Creek on the old Virginia Creeper Train route. Big Horse Creek is a NC Stocked Trout Stream and a favorite fishing and recreational spot for the entire family.
