This almost-new, northwest style vacation home is the perfect getaway. Located on a quiet cul de sac with a view of Admiralty Inlet and the Port Townsend ferry, it’s close to Fort Ebey and Fort Casey, and 11 minutes (7.4 miles) to historic, quaint downtown Coupeville.

Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in front of the cozy gas fireplace, or sit on the porch, where you can watch the eagles while gazing out at the shipping lanes of Admiralty Inlet, the Ebey Preserve, and the Olympic mountain range.

Master bedroom with super-comfortable King-sized bed. Master bath with double shower and walk-in closet.
Second bedroom has a twin bed and a set of bunk beds. Also available: Two twin size 4" foam sleep pads that can be used separately or together.
Second bathroom with tub and shower combination.

Our Whidbey Vacation Rental Home is located near the Navy Carrier Landing Practice Field. During your stay, you may experience one of their practice sessions --with Navy fighter jets flying low over the house as they approach the practice field. These last approximately two hours and generally occur in the late morning or late evening hours.
Disposable ear protectors and ear plugs are available for our guests to use if needed.
If the jets are flying during the late morning, use that time to visit one of the many local parks in the area -- or sit on the porch and enjoy the air show! Quote from a recent guest: "We especially LOVED watching the jets flying from Whidbey NAS!! It’s not something that you see everyday."

Wonderful place and view! Easy to get to Coupeville and the PT ferry. Seemed even more spacious in person than the pictures indicate. Picked blackberries and truly enjoyed ourselves. Extra touches like nice blackout blinds helped us relax.We even enjoyed the F18 Growler flyovers, for the single night they occurred during our several-night stay, definitely a cool and unique sight and sound. They’ve thoughtfully provided hearing protection which I wore while grilling in the back yard as the planes roared overhead, ending their run just in time for our (very peaceful) dinner.

Very happy with this beautiful home. It was like home away from home. Totally relaxing, clean and comfortable. Husband and his best friend are WW2 buffs and were really excited with the jets from the Naval Air Station doing touch & go landings on a nearby field. Something to do every day! Owners were gracious & accommodating. Excellent home base for adventures to Coupeville, Olympic Peninsula and Victoria BC for a lovely tea at Butchart Gardens (Stunning Place!) We've used VRBO for about 15 yrs and we can truly say this home is our number one stay! We stayed here several years ago and were impressed the accommodations are just as spotless as the first time we were here. Many thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us... P.S. Tyee's & Callen's have great breakfasts too!

Everything about our stay was awesome. We loved how close the house was to the ferry and that we could see the sound from the front window. We enjoyed watching the different boats/freighters/cruise ship etc.The house suited our needs perfectly.My niece and I enjoyed taking a spin on the bikes.Susan always responded right away to any inquiry that I made.Highly recommend!

This place is pure relaxation. Susan the owner is a sweetheart and so responsive and welcoming. Super clean, beautiful views, comfortable beds, kids games and books the list goes on and on. We saw deer in the evening in the backyard and so very quiet and relaxing.

Our stay on Whidbey

We are from Friday Harbor and spent a week on Whidbey awaiting the arrival of baby #2. We had a great stay. The house suited our needs, we had plenty of space. My son absolutely loved the toys in the sand box next door and sleeping on the top bunk! It was quite the adventure for him. We met Susan and Dustin and they were wonderful, they went above and beyond for us.

Great Place to Stay

My family stayed here during my grand daughters high school graduation. Location was perfect since it is only 5 min drive to my son's family house. Overall house is excellent. Everything you need for a few days stay is all provided. View from the front porch is top notch! We sat out there for hours watching both sunrise and sunsets every day. Just beautiful.Between having both front and back doors open provided an amazing breeze that kept us very comfortable.Hosts very responsive. Our internet went out and they quickly got us back up and running. Only negatives:1.) Driveway is very steep. So if you have mobility issues makes things little difficult.2.) Have to use an actual key to get into the house. Think the addition of a smart lock would be a great improvement.Will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in the Coupeville area to stay here you won't regret it.

We keep coming back

We've stayed at this house three times in the past 9 months and there's a reason we keep going back. Susan and Dustin are great to deal with (we've met them in person), the location of the house is just awesome (there's nothing like a hot cup of coffee while you take in the view from the front porch), and the house itself is great. Very well kept, bright, spacious and cozy. We've been there with our kids and without the kids, this place is great for both. Very kid and family friendly (we have 4 young kids) and very cozy for a couple's get-away. Highly recommend this house. We will be back again.

Clean, quiet and relaxing!

This home was clean, spacious, and very relaxing! The owners were very easy to deal with and we were greeted with a nice gift basket. For me, no cable and no wifi made it all the more relaxing. Backyard is private enough for the dogs to go out unleashed. Saw a beautiful deer in the backyard area the first night there! Use of the garage, rare in most rentals, was a significant advantage! If I'm ever looking for a home again I will certainly look for availability at this home first!

Whidbey home near Fort Casey

We stayed as Susan and Dustin’s VRBO home and found it very comfortable, well-appointed and clean and had a splendid view of Admiralty Inlet with Fort Casey State Park in the foreground and Port Townsend and the Olympic Mountains in the distance. The neighborhood is quiet—except for the infrequent Navy jets practicing touch-and-got maneuvers on the airfield nearby, which we enjoyed watching. The house has a big main room and kitchen; there is outside seating under an overhand facing the west and a shaded deck a few steps out the rear door; both offer nice options depending on the weather. We stay for three nights to enjoy the nearby hikes, vistas and used the ferry to Port Townsend as walk-on passengers. We look forward to staying in their VRBO home again. Dick & Becky

Relaxing weekend

Beautiful home with great views of Port Townsend Ferries. Quite clean and it's great not seeing any kind of hair around. Place is fully stocked and a BBQ set was provided as soon as we requested before arrival. Thank you. There was a tasty hamper waiting for us - we were a family of 5 (I am sure the house is big enough to accommodate more people ... Will have to request next time ) My children did miss wifi and cable but there were lots of DVDs and games to use. We even spotted 3 deers behind the house... So cute. Closest Walmart / Safeway is about 15 miles although GPS was picking 8 miles ?? Would definitely want to come back here. Owners are easily reachable.

Charming and comfortable home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house on Whidbey Island. We enjoyed the views of the Sound from the couch as well as the beautiful blooming lavender. The accommodations were very comfortable and we didn't run into any practical items that we wished we had. The jets were not practicing in the area while we were there, so it was a very quiet neighborhood for us.

Great Place to Stay

We greatly enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable with a nice view. Easy access to many local sites. The owners were great. The one proviso is that the home is near the Whidbey Naval Air Station and there is often once a day jets flying low overhead to practice take offs and landings. The owners are very up front with this. We just planned to be away when the flights occur. There is a schedule published of the approximate flight times
