A really nice 2-bedroom apartment in the very heart of Dublin City's old historical centre of TEMPLE BAR. It's a genuinely special apartment with striking views across the city. This is genuinely a superb two-bedroom apartment in the very heart of Dublin City - located in Temple Bar, which is pretty much where everyone wants to be when they visit Dublin. It has stunning view across Dublin at the front, and a quaint, private balcony at the back. From both the kitchen and living room, you can look out over Dublin City's historical quays, bridges and river - watching the ebb and flow of the river and the city itself. There are two bedrooms (each has a double bed). In addition to a large living room (with a large dining table and chairs), there's a separate kitchen (with a smaller table and chairs). You have access to everything and everywhere - it's all yours. I'll meet you when you arrive to say hello, give you keys, show you around the apartment, tell you what's what in the area and answer any questions. After that, if you need anything or have any questions, you can phone or email me. Always available and happy to help! Temple Bar is the most vibrant, exciting neighborhood in Dublin's city centre. A warren of medieval, cobble-stoned streets, it's officially Dublin's Cultural Quarter and houses dozens of art and culture organisations and institutes. It's also the heart of Dublin's social life... more cafes, bars, restaurants than anyone needs! Apartment is located bang in centre of Dublin City. This gives you very easy access to pretty much everywhere by foot (one of Dublin's charms is that it's a compact, walkable city that you'll get to know intimately very quickly). If you need to go farther afield, there's a choice of taxi ranks within a couple of minutes. The DART (suburban rail) is around 10 minutes away, while the LUAS (city tram system) is 5 minutes away. There are dozens of bus routes within 100 metres. Unfortunately, there's no elevator in the building - and the apartment's on the second floor (third floor in North American terms). That means 38 joyous steps up. It's worth the (small) climb! Standard check-in is at any arranged time between 3pm and 8pm. Because I can't personally do a check-in after 8pm, check-ins after 8pm are subject to a €50 fee to cover the cost of paying someone to meet you. Check-ins cannot be before 9.30am. Standard check-out is before 10am on the day of departure. If you're arriving into Dublin very early in the morning or departing late in the day, please consider the 3pm check-in time/10am check-out time before booking. Unfortunately, there is no luggage storage facility in the building. For those who need to store luggage before check-in or after check-out, I recommend Tourist Office Dublin (almost directly opp. the Front Gate of Trinity College Dublin at 37 College Green, Dublin 2, which is a 2 minute walk from the apartment). They'll store luggage here in a secure lock-up for a small fee.
