Ultimate Getaway Lake Cumberland, Great Location, easy access to water

This is the perfect getaway for couples, small families or just the fishing guys. Our family cabin is located on beautiful Lake Cumberland, in Jamestown KY. Our cabin is an easy walk from our front door to the docks. no need to get in your car to drive to your boat. If you know Lake Cumberland, you know how rare it is to have walking access to the water. Our community at Clifty Creek also has a launch ramp for easy in and out of your boat. Bring your own boat and wave runners or rent them at Jamestown Marina or State Dock, both only minutes away.

The Cabin is located 5 minutes by water to 2 of the largest marinas on Lake Cumberland, Kentucky State Dock & Jamestown Dock. Both marina's have restaurants, live music, variety of boat rentals options, fuel and grocery store. The cabin is less than 10 minutes to the Cumberland River which has some of the best trout fishing in the south eastern US and the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery at Wolf Creek Damn. A great place to visit with the family to engage in an educational journey of the regions trout.

Our Cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with a large screened in porch with a beautiful year round view of the lake. The cabin has an expansive deck and screened in porch which has always been ours and our guests favorite spots to enjoy the sunrise over the water with morning coffee to ending the day with a great meal with family and friends. We offer a stainless steel outdoor grill, large teak table and chairs for 8, nice teak day bed with the best mattress and several cozy wicker cushioned chair options. A great hammock under the trees for an afternoon of reading or taking a nap. Inside you have a nicely furnished kitchen with all the necessities to make a great meal; large refrigerator, 4 burner stove, oven, microwave, regular coffee pot and Keurig , pots & pans hanging rack and a solid maple chopping block. The living room has a working wood burning fireplace, leather coach & chairs, pull out queen size sofa bed, a twin size sofa bed, 48” SMART TV and DVD player to watch your favorite movies. Wifi is available for all your streaming needs. Master bedroom has a queen size bed with high loft down comforter and a stackable washer/dryer in the closet area and the other bedroom has 2 twin beds. Two couch pull outs add additional sleeping arrangements with another queen and twin sleeper sofas. One bath newly renovated with single bowl sink and 48" shower. All bed linens, bath and kitchen towels furnished.

Over the years, our family has made wonderful memories at our cabin. Whether on the water anchored in a cove, swimming at the dock, reading a book in the hammock or on the day bed, enjoying a great dinner with family and friends or great game nights with the kids. These memories will last a life time. So if your family or group is looking for memories that you can cherish for a lifetime, this cabin is the place for you.

Unique and special place on lake

This is one of the best, and only, places to stay ON Lake Cumberland, with a view of the lake to boot. Super comfortable beds and plenty of cooking utensils, big areas to hang out in.

Quiet getaway

This home provided just what we were looking for in a quiet, easy weekend getaway. The home was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The view of the lake from the porch is beautiful and the proximity to Lake Cumberland National Park is very conveneinet. I would highly recommend this home for a visit to the lake!

Good lake place

The place is as advertised, a comfortable lake cabin with a boat slip and easy lake access. The kitchen is well furnished and the big porch is great for eating meals. There is no dining area inside.

Real Lake Cabin

This is a great older cabin that has had some renovations and updates. It is not the Ritz in the woods but is a very nice cabin with all the amenities that you should need. The screened in porch is a great area with a view.

Family Getaway

My family and I had a great time on our little vacation. The cabin provided everything we could need and even had extra items that made our stay even better. The screened in porch was where we spent most of our time when we weren’t at the lake. We definitely will be booking here again in the future. It has been one of our favorite vacations so far!

such a great location

This property has such a great location. can't be beat! 5 minute boat ride to Jamestown and state dock. quiet and smooth waters for skiing. Boat dock is so handy, just a 2 minute walk to the property. great screened in porch for eating and relaxing. 2 bedrooms with comfy beds. Neighbors are all great and friendly.

Great Lake House!

This lake house was perfect for our family. The back porch is huge and is definitely the gem at this place. A walk down the hill you have a private dock and a boat launch down the street in the neighborhood. Finding a house with access to a dock within walking distance and boat launch is very rare on the lake. This was our 2nd time staying here and we'll hopefully be back again.

Beautiful!

We had a great stay with our party of 6! Plenty of room to sleep and kitchen had everything we needed. Screened porch is where we spent most of the evenings. Short walk to boat dock which was so nice. Neighbors were also friendly. Only negative was parking is tight. But other than that it was beautiful and I would recommend this property!

Great location!

The house is just perfect for a getaway weekend. We had 2 couples & 2 kids (16 years). The included dock is perfect if you have a boat. The hike down the hill to get to the dock is a bit intimidating...just take it slow & you'll be fine. The owners are very accommodating with any special requests & a real pleasure. I'll be recommending this property for sure!

Great location and super clean

This cabin was a perfect stay for us. I loved the screened in porch, the front porch, and being able to dock our boat just down the hill from the cabin. The location was excellent. We found everything we needed to cook with. I did miss having a dishwasher bc we don’t eat out a lot but it’s such a nice place, would definitely come back.

Charming little lake house

We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint lake house! The porch and dock were by far our favorites and where we spent all of our time. If you're looking for a modern rental this place is not for you. It's an older home with lots of charm. The walk to and from the dock can be a little challenging, but absolutely worth it. We absolutely plan to come back!

Great weekend getaway

We stayed at this cozy cabin for a weekend getaway. It was perfect for a weekend, but would be great for a longer stay too. The views and the porch are top notch. The screened in porch is very spacious and comfortable. Inside the cabin it is inviting, clean, and cozy. The owner has implemented many thoughtful touches, such as labels so you can easily find the light switches and a well-stocked kitchen so you have all the pots, pans, and utensils you need to cook your meals at home. We can't wait to come back!

Our family has been coming to Clifty Creek at Lake Cumberland since the 70's. We had such great memories of our childhood at the lake and we wanted to make great memories with our kids ... a girl, 2 boys, 2 golden retrievers and 1 chocolate lab. In 2004, our family had the opportunity to purchase this cabin. Since then there has been very few weekends that we have not been at the cabin. It is such a special place no matter if its summer weekends, holidays, fall or snowing winter nights. We hope you enjoy this cabin and your time there as much as we have through the years.
