Cottage of character located in Saint-Savinien sur Charente, city recognized "Small city of character". Label "Village of Stone and Water" of the County Council of Charente-Maritime.
Minimum rental: one week, from Saturday to Saturday.
The house, independent and without vis-à-vis, is located in a typical street lined with old stone quarries, 100 meters from the Charente and close to all shops.
Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen. bathroom with shower and sink. independent toilet. living room dining room with visible beams, bed click-clac 2 people, television, telephone téléséjour.
Upstairs, room under the roof with a bed of 140 and a bed of 120. Bathroom with sink and toilet. 1 baby bed.
Small terrace in front of the kitchen. Walled garden of 150 m² without vis-à-vis with sunbeds, lounge and parasol. Barbecue. Outbuildings to house bicycles.
Sheets not provided. Cleaning supplement 30 euros.
Charges included in the limit of 15 kWh of electricity per day and 500 liters of water per day.
Private parking located in the street under the rocks.
Minimum rental: 1 week. 25% discount on the second week.
Tourist tax in addition, calculated according to the price of the hiring, the nights and the number of tenant. Around € 1.50 per day and per adult.

It was very convenient because it as a short distance from another property we were also using. Everything was as expected and the host made everything easy for us. We loved the garden and found the inside layout very practical for us.

Maison très agréable et fraîche. Endroit calme et reposant. J'ai été très bien accueilli et mon petit chien a vite pris ses marques dans le petit jardin sécurisé. C'est un beau village et des artistes très souriants.Il y a de belles promenades à faire. Je reviendrai c'est sûr.

Le séjour s'est très bien passé, dans un gite bien équipé ( malgré que le plus petit des lits de l'étage a un matelas beaucoup trop mou ), avec une cour ombragée, et un quartier très calme. Les commerces sont proches, et des activités pour enfants ( parc de loisirs ) dans la commune.Nous conseillons ce gîte.

Bel été 2024 !!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Saint Savinien sur Charente. Bien que la maison soit rustique, elle est très agréable à vivre. Fraîche, les jours de chaleur avec ses murs épais. Le jardin est très agréable avec l'ombre des arbres. La route le long de la Charente n'est pas loin mais quasiment pas de bruit, le plus clair du temps: celui des oiseaux. Le grand lit est confortable. La salle de bain petite mais fonctionnelle. La cuisine spacieuse et bien équipée pour les repas à l’intérieur ou le barbecue très pratique pour l’extérieur. Tout pour passer d’excellentes vacances simples mais reposantes loin des tumultes de la ville et dans une région agréable et très vivante l'été: fêtes de village, vides-greniers, brocantes, ballades à pied ou à vélos et proche de la mer pour une bouffée d'air iodée une journée (45 minutes) ou farniente. Merci à Mme C. de nous avoir accueilli chez elle et à ses fils pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité.

Sehr schönes und aufwändig renoviertes Häuschen

Der Aufenthalt war gemischt, da das Wetter uns leider im Stich gelassen hatte und meine Frau krank wurde. Deshalb mussten wir schon früher zurück fahren. Vielleicht war die Reisezeit Mitte September etwas ungünstig, da einige Läden zu hatten. Ansonsten war der Ort hübsch und sehr sauber. Das Haus übertraf unsere Erwartungen, war gut ausgestattet und für 2 Personen mit Hund gerade richtig. Die Vermieterin hat uns gut gefallen. Leider haben wir sie nur beim Empfang erlebt.

Charmante petite maison

La maison était très bien entretenu, et bien soignée. Très bien équipée, du jamais vu. Dans une rue très calme, dans un village très calme et magnifique. La propriétaire était très aimable. Elle voulait que ces invités ne manquent de rien.

Schon der Empfang durch meine Gastgeberin war sehr sympathisch. Das gemütliche Häuschen liegt in einer ruhigen Strasse und man hat auf der Rückseite einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Stadtpark. Das Haus wirkt sehr gepflegt und die Ausstattung lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Die Größe des Hauses ist für ein Paar sehr gut geeignet. Auch ein Abstellraum für Fahrräder und Grillsachen in einem Gartenhäuschen bereitet echte Urlaubsfreude.

VACANCES DECOUVERTE DE LA CHARENTE

Nous avons séjourné quelques jours dans ce gîte et avons découvert une région trés belle, que nous ne connaissions pas. L'accueil par les propriètaires de la maison était parfait, des gens très gentils avec qui nous avons eu un bon contact ! Le gîte est propre et bien équipé, très calme avec une vue agrèable. Sur place de nombreux dépliants et brochures nous ont guidés pour nos ballades. A conseiller pour des familles avec enfants. Parc de loisirs tout proche, ballade dans ST Savinien à pied. Et en voiture, dans un rayon de 30 à 50 km: ile oléron, Rochefort, La rochelle et un peu plus bas Meschers avec ses falaises et ses grottes magnifiques ! sur le retour la côte très belle : Royan, St palais, la Palmyre etc... Nous reviendrons un jour dans ce coin des charentes car nous avons manqué de temps pour tout voir !! Encore merci à la propriétaire du gîte pour son acceuil.

Calme et repos

Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires qui aiment à vous raconter l'histoire de cette maison de famille. Séjour très agréable dans une charmante maison, bien exposée, avec la terrasse donnant sur un joli parc de verdure. Proche toutes commodités et bon restaurant. Nombreux sites touristiques. A découvrir absolument !

Une semaine reposante et surtout de non stress

Un incroyable séjour, je ne connaissais pas la région et je l'ai trouvée très agréable, la location était parfaite, on avait tout sur place, épicerie, boulanger etc pas besoin de faire trop de voiture pour les courses. Merci beaucoup aux propriétaires de continuer à faire vivre ces anciennes maisons. Peut-être à l'année prochaine.
