Two hours from Paris, on the borders of Burgundy and the Loire region, a haven of peace in the Nivernais countryside.

You will discover at 5 Kms from Charité sur Loire, a pretty house of the XIX century comfortable and warm entirely renovated for 4 to 6 people (children included) on a closed, flowered and sported garden of 500 m2

Located in a hamlet in the town of Raveau, on the edge of the Bertranges forest, with very little traffic, peace and quiet are guaranteed.
Ideal for spending time there on weekends or longer to unwind as a couple, family or friends.

A peaceful atmosphere emanates from the living room. It plays on the charm of authenticity with its beams and exposed stones. It aims to be conducive to calm and relaxation.
Beautifully decorated, this house offers a warm living room in winter with its fireplace and cool in summer thanks to its thick stone walls.
A pretty bouquet of freshly picked garden flowers brings a rustic touch to your arrival.

The living room opens onto a practical and functional fully equipped kitchen (pyrolysis oven, microwave grill, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, hotplates)
Farm eggs and a bottle of Pouilly offered by Valérie, the owner will enhance your first meal.

The 3 bedrooms, one with a dressing room, can sleep 6 people very comfortably (2 double beds, 2 single beds) and a cot can be made available.

2 bathrooms with WC fully equipped and tiled complete the equipment of the house.

Electric heating (included) and fireplace
(1 cubic meter of wood offered) provide cozy warmth in late season and winter evenings.

Household linen is provided in its entirety (sheets, towels, tea towels, tablecloths)
Internet access is available.
Television, DVD player, Hi-Fi system.

The green, sunny and quiet garden is fully enclosed: child safety is guaranteed.
A very pleasant outdoor arbor allows meals to be taken in summer.
A playground and relaxation area is available for the little ones and includes: a cabin, a swing, 2 slides, 1 sandpit, 1 table with its parasol and a swing for children.
But also for older children: table tennis table and its equipment, 2 sun loungers and a garden furniture set.
As the seasons go by, don't hesitate to pick up strawberries, mirabelle plums or apples from the garden.

Fijn en ruim huis

Een mooi en ruim huis. Sfeervol en grote omheinde tuin. Fijne open haard en ruime keuken mooi stadje op 5km afstand met supermarkten en leuke winkeltjes. Bakker in dorp op 1,2 km afstand met lekkere dingen leuke ontvangst door beheerster Valerie.

Déception à Raveau.

Nous sommes arrivés à 6 le samedi. Matelas de la petite chambre inexistants, changés le mercredi soir, roulés, utilisables le jeudi. Un couple obligé d'aller à l'Hotel à La Charité. Superficie de cette petite chambre inférieure à 6 m2 habitables. 1 oreiller et 2 couettes avec taches rougeatres. 5 Velux à l'étage impossibles à manipuler sans marchepied. Chambre au RdC aveugle. Frigo en panne à notre arrivée; remplacé ce même jour par un autre, sans rangements de porte, installé dans réduit extérieur à l'habitation. Des casseroles sales, un manche amovible hors endommagé et dangereux. Plaque de cuisson sale, allumage automatique HS, bruleurs en mauvais état. Mobilier de jardin sale, nettoyé par nous pour utilisation. Une chaise longue s'est cassée entrainant la chute d'une personne. La chasse d'eau de l'étage met + de 20' à se remplir. 6 fourchettes pour 6 personnes. Aucune consigne, aucun moyen de tri des ordures. Points intéressants: le jardin agréable qui risque de ne pas le rester si l'absence d'entretien se poursuit, et la région.

Ruhe und Erholung an Frankreichs größtem Eichenwald

Die Villa Robert ist sehr geräumig. Sie verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was den Urlaub komfortabel macht. Das Highlight ist der Kaminofen im Wohnzimmer. wir haben dort wunderbar gemütliche Abende verbracht. Die Lage mit abgeschlossenem Garten und direkt am Foret Bertranges war für uns als Hundebesitzer ideal. Das Haus ist für all diejenigen ideal, die die Ruhe und die Natur suchen. Aber auch Tagesausflüge in den ca. 80km entfernter Morvan-Nationalpark sind sehr gut machbar. Die Nähe zur Loire bringt Abwechslung zwischen Wald und Fluss. Zudem gibt es eine ganze Reihe von Stauseen, die umwandert werden können. Man findet aussderdem wunderschöne kleine Schösser und Museen. Wir fanden es jedenfalls wunderschön und sind froh das westliche, weniger bekannte Burgund erforscht zu haben.

Prima huis, gebrekkige informatie

Inchecken was lastig. De sleutel was niet op de afgesproken plaats. Na veel gezoek bleek de deur open. Nog weer later begrepen we dat de eigenaresse tegenover het huis woonde. Ze heeft mijn man namelijk buiten een hand gegeven toen hij de auto aan het uitpakken was. Op vragen via de mail werd wel snel gereageerd, maar een lijstje met huishoudelijke informatie was wel erg handig geweest: WIFI, afval, wel of niet stoken van de houtkachel ( het was er kil) etc. Zo zagen we ook pas veel later dat er toeristische informatie in een la lag. Kortom de communicatie kon beter. Ondanks de kou wel een fijn huis om te zijn.

Idylle auf dem Dorf

Kleines, altes Haus auf dem Land, Charme pur, Bäder neu, eingewachsener Garten mit Spielmöglichkeiten für kleine Kinder sowie Tischtennisplatte für die größeren. Valerie, die Besitzerin, war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, sie kümmerte sich schon um Gasnachschub, bevor die Gasflasche leer war. Der Willkommensgruß am Anreisetag, frische Eier aus Nachbars Hühnerstall und eine Flasche Weißwein waren sehr lecker. La-Charité-sur-Loire ist ein kleines Städtchen mit langer Geschichte. Paddeln unterhalb von La-Charité ist lohnend, Bootsverleih oberhalb der Brücke. Tip : Badehose, denn unterhalb der Brücke sind Hemd und Hose schon nass. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Woche in Raveau.

Un séjour formidable !

Pour notre deuxième location, tout était conforme à nos attentes. Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux de Valérie et l'impression de revenir dans notre maison de vacances. Nous sommes revenus en connaissance de cause : le séjour précédent s'était très bien passé et la Villa Robert a tout ce dont nous avons besoin : le calme, l'espace et toutes les commodités pour passer d'excellentes vacances reposantes. Nous sommes ravis d'avoir pu profiter pendant une semaine de cette propriété et nous avions qu'une envie : prolonger le séjour !! Un grand merci à Valérie pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

Beautiful big country house very well equipped, everything you might need is available. Large garden with a gorgeous children section. Valerie is adorable, lives across the road is always ready to help and has the same charming smile and manner wheter is 10 am or 10 pm. ATTRACTIIVE AND PEACEFUL

The interior of the house is beautiful, very well kept and well equipped. We stayed there in April and although the heating in the bedrooms and bathroom was excellent, the ground floor was rather chilly. We did not want the hassle of a wood fire and even had we done so it would have taken all our holiday to warm the large living area which is open plan. The single electric heater is not adequate. The garden would be ideal for children although both garden and play equipment needed attention. The surroundings are very peaceful with an excellent baker in Raveau and the house is very well-placed for sight-seeing trips.

Belle maison bien équipée, propre et accueillante. Nous avons passé 4 magnifiques journées et avons pu apprécier cette belle région et ses curiosités. La maison est située tout près de Nevers et Charité sur Loire, deux lieux incontournables à visiter avec un charme fou. Super Haus mit tollem Garten

Die Woche war zu kurz: wir haben uns im Haus und in der Umgebung sehr wohl gefühlt. Angefangen von einer außerordentlich freundlichen Begrüßung bis hin zu vielen kleinen angenhemn Dingen im Haus. Es gab zwei Bäder -im EG und OG, viel Platz und (für Hundebesitzer wichtig) einen abgeschlossenen Garten. Das Haus und Garten ist ebenso sehr kleinkindgerecht, da die Treppen abgesperrt werden können und im Garten etliche Speilgeräte zu finden sind.

Superbe maison à la campagne

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans cette belle maison, très confortable et parfaitement équipée. Rien ne nous a manqué. Le séjour reste agréablement frais en été même lorsqu'il fait plus de 30 degrés dehors et ça c'est appréciable. Quant au jardin n'en parlons pas, il fait le bonheur des petits comme des grands en plus d'être magnifique et accueillant ! Un grand merci à notre hôte pour son accueil chaleureux, sa disponibilité et le soin qu'elle met à sa location. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
