Alison is a very helpful host, the property has everything a family needs. The only caveat is the road noise that can be intrusive, day and night.

Great base to use while visiting Dorset.

Great location. Nearby shopping precinct bit run down but with our hire car we were able to visit other areas quite easily. Christchurch our favourite place nearby. Our apartment was good but the second bedroom very small for two adults and very stuffy.

Spacious and well maintained apartment

Everything is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped with all we needed. The beds are comfortable. We were well received and the manager called us the first evening to make sure everything was in order.

Holiday in Boscombe

The apartment was lovely, much better than expected, very spacious, clean and tidy. There was a welcome pack waiting for us which was a very nice surprise. The apartment block was extremely clean and well kept. All in all it contributed to a lovely time.

beautiful apartment perfect location for beach, shops and restaurants.

The apartment has a real home from home feeling,comfy beds fluffy carpets.It was great to have a washing machine and the choice of a bath or shower.On arriving there was all the supplies for a nice cup of tea and toast which was appreciated after a long drive.There was no surrounding noise very peaceful.Perfect location as a short walk to the beach and restaurants one way or the local town the other way.Would recommend for a perfect holiday and we would love to go back.

Long weekend with Husband and elderly Mum. A little hiccup on arrival accessing apartment (VRBO error) but Alison sorted issue immediately. Apartment lovely and central to explore Bournemouth and surrounding area. Lots of amenities and restaurants nearby. Property was exceptionally clean, comfortable and warm. If I could change one thing it would be to have a comfy armchair to compliment the sofa. The small sofa and chair were not as comfy as the sofa. All in all great stay and I would definitely return.

Boscombe Apartment

The apartment was well presented, clean and spacious. There was a nice sea view from the turret window in the main bedroom. Overall it is well equipped and comfy. It is a pleasant walk down to the beach and to the shops, don't really need to use the car unless you want to go further afield. The road outside is fairly quiet and not noticeable when sleeping. The owner was very pleasant and answered queries promptly.

Lovely Apartment

Good location for the beach and shops, however the road is busy with traffic, so if you’re a light sleeper, I wouldn’t recommend it. The apartment was really lovely, well kitted out although my suggestions would be more coat hangers and a larger frying pan, as we were a family of 4 (adults). Excellent communication from the lady owner, she was very helpful with info, and speedy with any replies.

Hi John, Thanks for taking the trouble to review. I note your comments. The curtains at the turret windows arr lined and have been made to join across the whole width of the turret. A new curtain track was fitted 6 months ago. It is light until nearly 9pm as wea approach midsummer's day on 21st June too but I will ser of I can improve this The council have rushed to complete all roadworks before the summer season and that has sent more traffic passed passed the apartment. I hope this will improve soon and it didnt impact too much on your holiday

The Best

Our stay was a pre-Christmas for my wife and I after she had visited family in the US. The apartment was immaculate and felt like home the moment we stepped through the door. Alison had put up Christmas decorations as well as a tree and we were touched by that. There was everything we needed in the kitchen to start our stay and it was so well equipped. The bedroom was amazing with a circular section and the bed was so comfortable and the pillows too (often it is the pillows that are the most important). The apartment was cosy warm and very comfortable. the area is pretty good too, just a short walk down the hill the Boscombe pier and the promenade walk all the way to Bournemouth pier if wanted! Within 10 minutes walk we could be in the centre of Boscombe with all its shops and facilities. It was a short bus ride into Bournemouth itself, which was all decked out for Christmas too. All in all one of our best and most memorable holidays. thank you Alison and we do hope we will be able to return!

Excellent well equipped property

This was a very smooth experience. Very well situated between high street and beach but with all the quiet you would hope for. A property in a grand, beautiful building with a spiral staircase as your exit. Excellent facilities, really nothing to grumble about, and a very friendly and helpful owner. Would certainly visit again.
