Excellent stay and location

We mainly picked Lacanau to be close to a surf beach (15 minute walk to be in the water carrying a board, but you can also park near the beach for €3.50/day and then it’s a 5 minute walk across the dune), but wanted space and a pool. The house is great and has everything you need; communication with owner and property manager via whats app worked really well (once I had their whats app) and both were very flexible with our arrival and departure times. We would definitely book this property again and stay longer! We truly had a great time and enjoyed it a lot. The town and shopping is very close too. To note: I didn’t realize there were two bathrooms (with sinks, shower and tub) but only a single toilet, I assumed it was three full bathrooms. It wasn’t an issue for us because we were family. Linens and towels are not included and you have to pay €180 extra (it would be nice to get three small hand towels included for the three bathrooms to dry your hands and maybe one for the kitchen ). Since it gets hot in the summer some fans for the bedrooms would make the stay even more perfect but were fine without:-) thanks again!!

Leider kann ich den Aufenthalt nicht bewerten, da uns von Seiten der Vermieterin 36 Stunden vor Anreise der Aufenthalt storniert wurde! Dies war Anfang September, unser Geld haben wir bis heute noch nicht zurück erhalten! Stand 10.11.2024

Fijne rustige plek, vlak bij strand en centrum

Huis is wat verouderd maar wel prima. Ligging is perfect. De eigenaresse heeft ons goed geholpen tijdens ons verblijf.

Das Haus ist ungepflegt und die Fotos entsprechen in keiner Art und Weise der Realität

Nous étions assez étonnés et assez assez déçus: La réalité de la maison est très très loin de l’impression des photos et de la déscription. Toute la maison et sa terrasse étaient très très négligées: 1. La clé de la porte de terrasse de la ‚master-suite‘ a manqué. Elle a manqué tout simplement. La porte est fermée. De cette façon on ne pouvait pas ouvrir la porte. 2. La four: pour faire fonctionner la four et pour pouvoir se servir du commutateur on avait besoin des pointes de deux couteaux ou des ciseaux. 3. Le siége du WC etait cassé 4. La couette et la housse de couette du lit dans la ‚master-suite‘ n'allaient pas bien. Les boutons de la couette était cassés. On ne pouvait pas fermer la housse. Normalement ce n’est pas grave et cela nous dérange pas trop. Mais dans ce cas: la couette était dans état trés vieux, usée et moisé. 5. Et regardé tout ensemble il est déjà presque normal que 3 ampoules sont cassées (dans le couloir, dans la chambre à deux lits et à la hotte aspirante). 6. Tout d’abord nous devions balayer la terrasse près de la maison et autour de la piscine. 7. Le lave-vaisselle n’était pas vidé. C’était déjà un peu répugnant parce que cela sentait déjà le moisi. 8. Et les boutons d’acier autour de la piscine cachés par les coquillages ou par les pommes de pins. On ne pouvait que hocher la tête! 9. A propos la piscine: Sur les photos la piscine a été illuminée. Pourquoi on ne pouvait pas illuminer la piscine en réalité. Tous les soirs il y avait là un trou sombre! Sans aucun ambiance! Et pour le nettoyage c'étaient nous qui étaient responsable pour le nettoyage 10. Et en plus ‚le bouquet‘ la première soirée: Nous étions en train de terminer notre dîner et j‘avais été assis tranquillement et tout simplement sur ma chaise. Et soudainement d’un instant à l’autre cette chaise s’est écroulé. Mon polo s’est déchiré et je me blessais, heureusement seulement lègèrement. Et j’avais eu de la chance dans le malheur. Mais cela ce n’est que symbolique pour l’état négligé de la maison et sa terrasse. On peut tolérér cet état probablement quand on habite exclusivement soi-même cette maison, mais non pas quand on la loue, et cela non pas à un prix moins cher, à des autres personnes inconnues qui veulent passer de belles semaines de vacances au bord de la côte atlantique. Wir haben diesen Bericht gleich am ersten Tag nach unserer Ankunft der Vermieterin mitgeteilt, aber es kam überhaupt keine Reaktion

Très agréable semaine au bord de l'océan

Tout est conforme au descriptif ! Très jolie maison, dans un coin tranquille, à 5 mn à pied de la plage nord de Lacanau Océan. Séjour trop court. Ne pas hésiter c'est parfait. Nous reviendrons.

Très belle proprieté avec de tres bonnes prestations

La maison correspond complètement au descriptif de l annonce. Elle est idéalement placée à Lacanau du coup elle nécessite pas l'utilisation d'un véhicule et le stationnement est gratuit. La piscine n'a pas de vis à vis. Le quartier est calme et le centre ville est proche à pied.

A wonderful villa in a wonderful location

Everything about the villa was great. It was well equipped, the pool was lovely and it was perfectly situated in the town, with the shops and beach just a short walk a way. We had the most wonderful week in Ocean Lacanau as a result and look forward to returning next year.

Belle maison bien située

Jolie maison tout confort et décorée avec goût, à 5 minutes à pieds de la plage Nord de Lacanau et du centre ville. La maison est ouverte sur la terrasse et le jardin, l'environnement est calme. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances en famille et reviendrons avec plaisir l'été prochain!

2014 & 2015 sunny-summer-holiday :-)

the house with it spacious terrace / patio and big pool is a perfect privet refugium very near to the north beach & the village Lacanau Ocean -> thanks to the big roof, the L-form of the house and the high plants around the house - which give a perfect shelter - it is a perfect location for all-day-ouitside-living ; -> the in-door-living is very spacious too => even with 6 people yo will always find privacy ; we recommend the place to everybody Alex / Austria

2ème séjour - Toujours aussi satisfaits !

Notre deuxième séjour dans cette location et nous sommes toujours aussi satisfaits. Des améliorations ont mêmes été apportés à la maison (peintures des boiseries, lave-main dans les toilettes, nouveau canapé etc). A cette saison les conditions météos ne permettaient pas la mise en route de la piscine mais les propriétaires nous en avaient informés. La saison touristique ne battait pas encore son plein à Lacanau ce qui permettait de mieux profiter (pour info les cours de surf ont déjà repris) des plages, pistes cyclables et ...glaciers ! A refaire."

Belles vacances à l'océan

Nous avons passé une semaine agréable dans cette spacieuse maison avec les enfants (7 et 11). Lumineuse et ouverte sur une belle terrasse nous avons apprécié de pouvoir déjeuner dehors tout en profitant des joies de la piscine (farniente assuré !). Les 3 jolies chambres nous ont permis d’être à notre aise et la mezzanine de se transformer en cabane pour les enfants. Le quartier est très calme et situé à deux pas de la plage ; nous avons opté pour le vélo et rangé les clés de la voiture pour les vacances. Les installations intérieures nous ont donné entière satisfaction. J’y retournerai avec plaisir et la recommande vivement.

RAPPORT QUALITE PRIX NON SATISFAISANT

Rapport qualité prix non satisfaisant. Surface habitable en loi Carrez très éloignée de la superficie de la maison mentionnée. Equipement qui ne correspond pas au "grand standing" cité dans l'annonce Maison potentiellement intéressante, mais non entretenue par les propriétaires (piscine, peintures extérieures, équipement extérieur : éclairage, transat.... ), propreté générale laisse à désirer

Localisation idéale, proche de la plage et du centre. Piscine chauffée trés appréciable ! Maison trés agréable, au calme, avec tout le confort. Ménage cuisine à l'arrivée laissant à désirer.
