About this property

Newly renovated finished basement with additional bedroom and family room. Water and beach access to beautiful Sebago Lake just steps away. Frye Island, in the Sebago Lake Region of Maine is one of the most sought out places to vacation in Maine. The seclusion, wildlife, calm and tranquility is perfect for every vacation. The cottage is an A frame style with plenty of amenities as well as land to have the privacy wanted during a family vacation. Our home is set back from the road with a very large deck set high to take in the wonderful views. Main level is open, bright and airy w/a predominantly windowed front. There is plenty of sleeping quarters with the newly added 3rd bedroom and upstairs loft as well as room to comfortably move around. Frye Island offers 12 sandy association beaches, a swimming pool, tennis courts, golf course, a restaurant and an ice cream stand. Sebago Lake is a large lake with plenty of room for boating and fishing including access to Brandy Pond and Long Lake via the Songo River, for 40+ miles of boatable waterway. Please note this property does not supply blankets, pillows, blankets, linens or towels.

Perfect, relaxing, lake vacation

We had a wonderful week on Fry Island! The house was perfect for us- a family of 5, plenty of room. Very accommodating and in a great location. Very easy walk to beach 6- really nice sandy beach, and a short golf cart ride to beach 5 with a nice swim platform. Also not far from general store/ice cream shop and ferry. Really nice A frame home with beautiful large windows. Nice and secluded, nice evenings by the fire. Exactly as pictured. Kevin is very helpful and quick to respond. Lots of fun games and family room downstairs- perfect for the one rainy day we had. The lake is beautiful. Best vacation we have had!!

Great Trip

Exactly as described, Kevin was very helpful and great to work with! This was our first time on Frye & we were pleasantly surprised by how much there was to do! The public beaches are great and we had them to ourselves most days. The house was centrally located. We'd do it again!

Cozy family friendly cabin steps from the beach.

Great stay for family and pets! Clean and cozy. The one bathroom leaves something to be desired, but the addition adds great space and sleeping area. Steps from the best lake out there!

Perfect Maine Week!

we had an amazing week of hot, sunny weather and the ONLY place to be was in the water, which was 81 degrees! Good golly this was by far the most relazing time we have spent as a family, and the new addition to the rental allowed us to spread out and we were very comfortable. Kevin is very helpful and quick to respond to questions. The house is perfect, well appointed and comfortable. Thank you Kevin, thank you Frye, and thank you Mother Nature!
