Casa Do Caseiro-Near Santiago de Compostela

The symbol par excellence of the Galician secular society, of the "lords of the earth" and their noble status, until well into the nineteenth century, was the pazo, an austere and sober building attached to a tower.
Among the varied adjective dependencies of the pazo, which make up a typically Galician architectural ensemble, is Casa do Caseiro, a house destined to house the family that was in the care of the hacienda of the lord who, in general, did not usually live in the field.
