About this property
Cozy vacation home for 5 people in Hallandsåsen.
On the hills of Hallandsåsen there 'my cozy wooden house with a beautiful view. If looking for a relaxing holiday and quiet, this is the place. Near Båstad, Torekov and the small island Halland Väderö, nature reserve.
In the surrounding woods you can make beautiful walks to find mushrooms and berries that you can pick, cycling the most beautiful beaches of Skåne, or to the lake where you can request a fishing license and rent a boat. Or you can just relax in the garden with a good book.
The house can accommodate up to 5 people. On the ground floor there is' a fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, other electronics and kitchen utensils, iron and ironing board. The living room with a large table, chairs, sofa bed, bookcase with books of different languages, CD stereo, and board games and a wonderful ancient ceramic wood stove. A separate toilet with sink and a bathroom with sink, shower, washing machine and hairdryer. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with twin beds, and the 'other more spacious, with two beds that can become a bedroom, a large TV with DVD player and a cozy reading corner. Provided a security gate for children to 'beginning of the stairs. You can have breakfast on the veranda listening to the birds singing in the woods, or have a barbecue in the garden beside the house where there are chairs and outdoor table available to guests. My house is located next to the house that I rent, but I live in Italy and I come to work in Sweden only a few weeks to 'year. Alice, my friend and neighbor will take care of you.
From Ängelholm railway station, in an hour and a half you get to Copenhagen. In summer there are a variety of fun flea markets, antique car shows, fairs, exhibitions and great restaurants in the area that I can recommend. You can take the ferry to Helsingborg and in half an hour arrive in Denmark to Helsigör and visit the famous Hamlet's Castle and the Little Mermaid. Rent a canoe and go up the river Rönne in Ängelholm.
Having your own car is essential and you can park next to the house. But in five minutes walk there 'a bus stop the' bus into Hjärnarp Ängelholm and to go shopping or to the railway station where there are trains throughout Sweden and to Kastrup 's Copenhagen Airport.

About the host
Hosted by Ann katrin Annika Kumlien
I live and work in Italy near Lake Bracciano. I have a small farm where I grow organic products and I have a pension for older horses. I come to Sweden two or three times a year to enjoy a vacation in my beloved home and meet my dear friends.
Why they chose this property
The house I rent and the white house next door are the houses of my grandmother Maja and inherited it from my father. I spent wonderful holidays with my brothers and sisters when I was a child and are very beloved homes. With patience and love slowly I renovated the houses over the years and made many improvements. Still I have to do a lot of works, but I have time.
What makes this property unique
Maya, my grandmother, bought the house and land in 1926, and being an artist has found the peace and serenity of this countryside the perfect place to paint his pictures. The beautiful view to the sea, the hills and the woods surrounding the house make the atmosphere even more magical. The house for rent was built later. One part was the stable and the attic, hayloft. Later my father has restored it for the family.
