The property is beautifully situated 30 m from the sea with large jetty which is ideal for fishing, swimming, barbecue and sunbathing. Panoramic views of the fjord and mountains. Sunny and west facing. Adjacent to the pier 2 boathouse and a private pier. Excellent fishing opportunities, ample and light-caught crab fish with their own dishes. Very well-marked hiking trails in the mountains with everything from gentle walks of 0.5-2 hours to demanding day trip to Hornelen, Northern Europe's highest sea cliff 860 meters above sea level.
Boat: You may rent a Øien 530F with Zuzuki 40HP motor
4 adults sailing vests + 4 medium size lifejackets.
Nearest neighbor about 300m. Active farms with cows located 400m away.

Wooden building in 2 floors + basement approximately 100m2. Electricity, cold and hot water from a private source.

The property is renovated from 2003 to 2015.
Rented only to calm the sake of people. No pets. Smoking not permitted.
The house is in "shabby chic" style with personal touches and personal belongings also during rental periods.

Fishing from private jetty or boat. Nearest ensure fishing place is ca. 100m from the pier. Remember fish cleaning at the pir and not in house!
Very well marked trails in Berle Mountains. From easy slopes to challenging full day to Northern Europe's highest sea cliff ± Hornelen 860 m.

Fantastic place to stay and repower

Our stay at Berle was great. It has been really hard to leave this fantastic place. The house is beautifully decorated and the surrounding nature is breathtaking. Friends of hiking and feeling the wild so close will be satisfied completely. Of couse, look at the map, the next big city is far away - but are you booking this historic pearl because of going to theater and cinema every day?... The wooden boat "Anton" works well for driving through the fjords end in Berle, but if you want to drive into the Nordford, you should choose a day without any waves. Nevertheless, the fjord where the house is located is full of big fish, we were more than happy with our choice. Additionaly we saw otters, sea eagles, deers... be quiet and open your eyes! Breath the nature. This is your place! The house is well equipped, you will have a great place for starting your hiking tour to the Klitten or the Hornelen,for the more trained persons. On rainy days you can read a book in the cosy living room or chose one of the books from the library. Just for information: The stairs up to the bedrooms is quite steep and you should walk it carefully. All in all we had a great, wonderful stay and I can highly recommand this place and Vidar as host!

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft

Die Einrichtung ist Geschmackssache, aber auf jeden Fall mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail und wirklich gemütlich. Die Lage am Ende des Weges einfach außergewöhnlich - Ruhe pur. Das Highlight für uns war das Boot, welches direkt unten am Ufer lag. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter: lobenswert. Wir haben vorab schon sehr viele nützliche Informationen erhalten und konnten alle Fragen klären. Für alle die etwas Besonderes in ruhiger abgeschiedener Lage mit Boot suchen können wir es wärmstens empfehlen!

Gemütliches Ferienhaus im typisch norwegischen Stil in einzigartiger Lage direkt an einem Fjordarm

Wir haben uns in diesem gemütlichen und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichteten Ferienhaus mit schöner und umfangreicher Ausstattung sehr wohl gefühlt und alles hat funktioniert, wie es sollte. Für alle, die gern einen Wasserkocher und Toaster benutzen, diese vielleicht mitbringen, da als einzige nicht im Haus vorhanden:-). Leider hatten wir fast 14 Tage lang richtig schlechtes Wetter und es gab keinen einzigen Tag ohne Regen. Zudem war es auch sehr stürmisch. Daher haben wir das schöne Boot nicht benutzt, haben aber trotzdem ein paar Dorsche und Köhler vom Steg aus gefangen. Es ist ein großer Vorteil, dass es einen eigenen Anleger mit den beiden Bootshäusern gibt. An 2 Tagen konnten wir sogar Hirschkühe mit ihren Kälbern auf dem Grundstück beobachten. Außerdem haben wir einen Seeadler in der Nähe des Berleporten gesichtet! Und natürlich haben wir die Gegend erkundet und können Bremanger (Waffeln im Café beim Joker), Grotlesanden, Måløy, Kannesteinen, Refviksanden, Kalvåg und Norfjordeid empfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Vidar war in allen Angelegenheiten, die unseren Aufenthalt hier betrafen, perfekt und wir bedanken uns herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft! Doreen & Horst

Traumhafte Postkartenidylle

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Das Haus hat etwas von einem zauberhaften kleinen Puppenhaus, es ist alle vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Aussicht ist grandios, die Lage traumhaft. Man kann in der Umgebung wandern, angeln, Ausflüge machen, einkaufen. Ein perfekter und unglaublich gemütlicher Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen und die Natur zu genießen. Natürlich fällt einem immer etwas ein, was man vielleicht zu Hause nutzt und im Ferienhaus nicht vorhanden ist, aber unseres Erachtens nach, wäre es übertrieben und unnötig, sich bei einem so herrlichen Haus über Kleinigkeiten zu ärgern. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Idyllisch gelegen, kann nicht besser sein.

Wir fanden das Objekt sehr sauber vor. Die Abgeschiedenheit war traumhaft. Einzig die in der Katalog Beschreibung als vorhanden angekündigten- Bäder 2!! - waren nicht vorhanden, es gab nur ein Badezimmer. Allerdings ein zweites WC im Kellergeschoß. Als Anregung: ein kleiner Wasserkocher, auch ein Toaster würden gut zu der kompletten, hervorragenden Küchen- und Geschirrausstattung passen.

Idylische Lage des Objektes-Vermieter leider unsachlich

Die Lage des Objektes ist wirklich idyllisch, man kann angeln, wandern und entspannen. Leider war der Check-in nur eine SMS mit Nummerncode für die Schlüssel, es gab keine Übergabe. Das Haus ist nun schon in die Jahre gekommen und es müsste einiges gemacht werden. Ein Rollo ist abgefallen, weil es nicht richtig befestigt war und bei einem weiterem waren die Schnüre zum hoch- und runterlassen vergammelt, weswegen wir es abnehmen mussten. Ein Rauchmelder musste abgenommen werden, da er ständig piepte. Bei unserer Abreise vergaßen wir unsere Bettwäsche+Handtücher, dafür verlangte der Vermieter, wegen erhöhten Aufwand, 100 Euro extra, was uns wirklich schockiert hat. Die Fahrräder waren leider nicht nutzbar, bei dem kleinen Herrenrad war die Gangschaltung defekt und am Damenrad blieb man mit den Händen am Lenker kleben (igitt). Der Gasgrill war leider auch nicht einsatzbereit, beim anstellen strömte nur das Gas am Ventil heraus. Einige Bohlen am Steg sind schon sehr morsch und wenn man ins kleine Boot möchte, sollte man es bei Hochwasser tun, wegen Baufehler ist es schlecht zu erreichen. Des Weiteren ist zu erwähnen, dass eine SMS am letzten Urlaubstag vom Vermieter kam, dass man auch seinen Müll in den 12km (hin und rück) entfernten Container schaffen soll, dieses wurde vorher nie kommuniziert. Mit einer ordentlichen Hausübergabe und Hausordnung wäre es bestimmt besser gelaufen, aber der Vermieter ist da sehr komisch und sucht die Fehler nicht bei sich, sondern nur bei anderen- Schade. Wir können das Haus leider nicht empfehlen

Picturesque place in the middle of great nature - Norway at its best

We spent one week in August in this fabulous, perfectly maintained old house together with our three teenagers and we immediately fell in love with the whole place. The decoration is marvelous, the furnishing complete, the little boat 'Anton' very usefull for short excursions & fishing and the views towards fjord and mountains are priceless. Right behind the house, a short 15 min trial leads to a hilltop which offers a perfect panorama view; this is where we ended most the days during sunset. On our last day we hiked up to the impressive Hornelen, the highest sea cliff in Northern Europe. The very well marked trial (full day trip) starts close to the house in walking distance. All in all we highly recommend the house for a family vacation in the middle of Norways beautiful nature. The owners have been extraordinary friendly and helpful and we definitly will be back in the future.

Beautiful house in a stunning location

We enjoyed our time in this house very much. We especially liked the small boathouse as a place for cosy dinners or relaxed breakfasts. The boat "Anton", the spacious garden and the really beautiful house gave us a great holiday. We felt very welcome, especially because of the very friendly communication with the host.

Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen

Unsere Familie (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) war im August für zwei Wochen zu Gast in Berle. Das Haus verzauberte uns sofort mit seinem sehr schönen Charm und wir fühlten uns in der idyllischen Lage sehr wohl. (Einrichtung genauso toll wie auf den Bildern) Es verfügt über eine sehr gute Ausstattung. Die zwei Bootshäuser und Anton sind mit wenigen Schritten gut zu erreichen. Der Pier läd bei schönem Wetter zum Verweilen ein. Die Angelmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut und wir fingen Dorsche, Pollack, Makrelen, Heringe, Leng und Schellfisch. Den Blick auf die komplette Bucht vom Hausberg (Klitten) würden wir auch für ungeübte Wanderer auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Ansonsten findet man sehr viele, gut ausgeschilderte Wanderwege auch für erfahrene Wanderer. Auf der Insel befinden sich sehr schöne Ausflugsziele wie zum Beispiel das Fischerdorf in Kalvag und die Sandstrände im Westen. Wer das charakteristische Fjordnorwegen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir noch, dass keine Extrakosten für Boot mit Motor, Strom und Brennholz anfallen. Der Hausherr Vidar stand uns jeder Zeit für Fragen mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung ! Hierfür sind wir sehr dankbar. Takk! Wenn wir nochmal ins schöne Norwegen reisen, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder nach Berle.

Fishing both fish and shellfish, mountain walking, visited charming and beautiful Kalvåg (small village) and the spectacular Grotlesanden (beach). The report from the cleaner was that you left the house very tidy and everything in order. That makes it a pleasure to let people like you rent our personal "paradise" in Berle ,and my wife is so pleased you liked the cosy style in the house. Super Ferienhaus in ruhiger Umgebung

Anfang August waren wir für eine Woche Gast im wunderschönen Haus in Berle/Bremanger. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig ganz am Ende einer kleinen Straße auf einem Naturgrundstück am Eingang einer größeren Bucht. Es ist rustikal und liebevoll eingerichtet und verfügt über eine gute Ausstattung, inklusive Internet. Zum Grundstück gehören ebenfalls zwei Bootshäuser (davon eines nutzbar), sowie ein Ruderboot mit 2,5-PS-Außenbordmotor. Vom Boot, aber auch vom Pier aus bestehen aufgrund der geschützten Lage sehr gute Angelmöglichkeiten bei fast jedem Wetter. Wir haben hier vor allem Dorsch und Makrelen, aber auch Pollack und Hering geangelt. Insbesondere der Dorsch lässt sich hier in Größen von 50-80 cm gut mit Pilkern fangen. Unser größter Dorsch hatte immerhin 115 cm. Ansonsten lädt die Umgebung zum Wandern und Klettern ein. Direkt hinter dem Haus befindet sich ein kleinerer Berg (Klitten, ca. 130 m hoch) mit einem guten Blick über die Bucht. In einer Entfernung von einigen Kilometern liegt der Hornelen, mit über 800 m einer der größten Meeresfelsen Europas. Sehr positiv hervorzuheben ist auch noch der gute und reibungslose Kontakt zum Vermieter Vidar. Fazit: Wer Ruhe und gute Angelmöglichkeiten schätzt, wird hier voll auf seine Kosten kommen. Wir kommen gern wieder – dann aber für zwei Wochen.

Es ist immer schön, wenn die Gäste zufrieden sind und Berle in der gleichen bezaubernden Weise erleben wie wir. Wir mögen die Nähe zu den Naturerlebnissen, da hier viele sind. Alle Familien mit Kindern, die Gäste bei uns waren, waren sehr gut, genau wie diese Familie.

Klasse !

Dieses Ferienhaus mit seinen zwei Bootshäusern ist erstklassisch. Wir haben zwei tolle Wochen hier verbracht mit angeln, wandern und Auflügen nach Bremanger, Kalvag und Maloy. Das Wetter war typisch norwegisch: außer Schnee war alles dabei was es gibt. Das Boot "Anton" hat unseren Ansprüchen genügt, ist aber mit modernen Booten nicht zu vergleichen. Immer wieder schön zu bestätigen, was wir uns für diesen Ort fühlen. Schön und charmant, und die beiden bootshouses mit Pier lädt zu vielen gemütlichen Momente. Es ist wahr, dass dieser Gast sagt: An der Westküste können Sie alle Arten von Wetter zu bekommen, und es ist etwas von dem Charme dieser Region. Vom Meer beruhigen bis regen zu peitschen. Das Boot Old Anton ist ein altes Holzruderboot mit einem kleinen Außenbordmotor. Haben Sie Erwartungen von hohen Geschwindigkeit auf See haben, dann ist dies nicht das Boot, aber sie gedeihen mit auf See Sputtern, das Boot Anton wirklich schön und charmant. Und Fisch, den Sie erhalten - garantiert.

A magical week in a characterful,charming house located in a secluded,peaceful setting.

We had a fabulous week in this stylish,characterful period home,located in a stunning,isolated fjord.The house was very comfortable,tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished which helped us totally relax and unwind as soon as we walked through the front door! Having a private pier and two boathouses (one of which we used as a dining room with spectacular views on the waterside) and use of the owner's wooden boat for rowing and fishing was luxurious! We loved the peace,tranquillity and beauty of the local area,especially having great mountain walks on the doorstep! We'd highly recommend this house and area and would love to return one day!

No need to add that this family really found what they were looking for. Relaxing athmosphere in the house, cosy moments on the pier and in the boathouses. The house furniture is in the same way as when we use the house – and that is several times each year although we have to travel 8 hours to get there – but it’s worth it whatever weather. If you like mountain walks – just walk out the door as this family did.
