Spacious house with great view

We stayed at Casa Asomodita with 7 adults and an 11-year-old. The house offers a lot of room for a larger group. The pool was heated so we could enjoy the outdoor area at any time and weather.

My family had a great time staying at the Asomadita. It was such a perfect size for our group of 5, with plenty of room for all and options to gather as a group. It was very well equipped and very clean.The mountain views are spectacular and just based in a lovely location, for easy drives to the coast, salt pools and lovely restaurants in the north west of the island.The heated pool was a great size to swim & mess about in, as well as the games room being a fun addition.The only slight negative was there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms - which I think we just naturally assumed there might be (didn't check properly and that's on us) - but understandable with the age of the property. Plus there were plenty of fans on offer to take the edge off the heat.But that's not to take away from what a great house this was to spend valuable holiday time at. Highly recommended.

2 Wochen Erholung und Entspannung

Der Gesamteindruck des Objekts ist sehr gut. Großzügiges Platzangebot für 8 Personen, ein mit Liebe zum Detail stilvoll hergerichtetes Haus in wunderschöner Lage im Agaete-Tal. Große Küche mit Komplettausstattung, Wohnzimmer, Billardzimmer, mehrere Essplätze drinnen und draußen sowie ein Grill sind vorhanden. Saubere und große Badezimmer, insgesamt sehr gepflegtes Haus ( tägliche Reinigung des beheizbaren Pools, wöchentliche Grundreinigung und Wäschewechsel auf Anfrage ).Wir waren für 2 Wochen dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt . Wir können die Finca La Asomadita uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Una gran villa

Los días en esta Villa de La Asomadita han sido extraordinarios. Tengo que destacar, ante todo, la amplitud, el buen gusto en la decoración, ya que pretende guardar el encanto de las casa de campo, así como la limpieza en la estancia. La Villa tiene de todo, no le falta ningún detalle. Destacar la amabilidad de Miriam y Nayra, las anfitrionas. Mil gracias por hacerlo todo más fácil Con ganas de volver en otra ocasión.

Wonderful place

We went over here in October 2019, with a total of 10 people (including 5 kids from the ages 6 to 10). We were really surprised how big it was in real life and it was even better than on the pictures. The big living kitchen is great for the whole family and the swimming pool was the icing on the cake. We all loved it! Because it's so big we could give each family their own " wing" ;-). This way you could also enjoy the privacy if you wanted. The house looks and feels in real life great and really authentic. Miriam was a very helpful and kind host. She was there when needed and speaks good English. All in all, I would certainly recommend this house for people who don't like the mass toursim!

Excellent Property/Poor Property Manager

The property was excellent! Great location and very clean, It offered all cooking equipment you would need for a large party and all in good order. The pool was excellent and well maintained and cleaned on a regular basis. The property had also been decorated with Christmas decoration which was a really nice touch. Our problem with this holiday was that when we first booked the property, the property manager did not get the booking dates correct and confirmed to me an incorrect start date. Home away sent me an email to say that the property was not available on the 5th December. I had already booked my flights as the property manager had said the 13 days were available from the 23rd November. We had to find another form of accommodation on the 5th of December. I also asked the property manager if it would be ok to have 4 other guests and how much extra this would cost well before the holiday and was told by her that yes there would be an extra cost and she would get back to me on the cost and that I could pay it on arrival. She then went on to say which property are you staying at as she did not have my booking. I never heard any more about the extra cost of 4 more guest until a few hours before we were flying which was late at night on the night before we were due to arrive, when she asked for to my mind an unreasonable amount of euros to be paid cash on arrival. I also note she messaged me on several occasions late at night for money. This was a concern to me as she spoiled a family get together which I never mentioned to my children as it would have spoiled the whole holiday. Had she told be in advance, having asked her on several occasions I could have investigated the cost and cleared it all up before we arrived. I reiterate that the property was excellent and that Home Away also gave me good advise when calling them about this and that their website stated quite clearly not to hand over cash.

Hi Eleanor. We both know that what you have said is not true. You confirmed a booking for 2 people when 6 people were coming. You asked me if that meant any difference in the price and I said "Yes". And 1 second later I sent the prices for up to 4 and for 6 people. The day before arriving I reminded you the balance due. You DID NOT say that you had a problem with that. You agreed to pay for it. But you left the house and you did not. If you had told me that you had a peoblem with it, I would have found a good solution for you. You are not being fair with your comment and you know it. It is the first time somebody says something bad about us. Hope you can reconsider this bad comment.

Fabulous spacious property

Luxury & comfort combined. Very well equipped & spacious in stunning scenery with lovely warm pool. Must have own transport as rather remote but worth the effort of driving. Owner responded to any queries immediately. Pool cleaned daily. House immaculately clean. Pictures do not do it justice as to size of property. Would love to return.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Everything you could need was there. Would go back tomorrow!

We had a fabulous week with amazing weather. We hired a car and travelled around a little but Agaete was amazing and we stayed at the villa soaking up the sunshine and the amazing food locally was enough to keep us going!! Although you can (and we did) walk to Agaete there are no pavements and the roads are quite hairy so if you had young children or older members of the party I would suggest using the car . Definitely recommend staying here though.

Beautiful, spacious house in wonderful setting

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and well-equipped house. It is very spacious with 5 bedrooms (one of which is a walk-through room) and three full bathrooms. It was clean, the housekeeper very helpful and the complete handling very relaxed. Looking at the size of the house and its amenities the price is absolutely fair. Pool water was quite cool in December but fun for the kids. Would certainly like to come back and can highly recommend the house!
