We had a lovely holiday at the house. The caretaker unfortunately only spoke French, but somehow we managed to communicate. Not sure we always understood each other but this did not lead to any issues, fortunately. If you are looking for a well set up house near the beach with a promenade, then look no further. We have as a result stayed here once before.

Séjour parfait ! Le gîte est propre, lumineux parfaitement aménagé jusque dans les détails pour le confort des locataires.Le gîte est décoré avec goût et avec un ameublement de qualité. On sent les propriétaires soucieux du bien-être des locataires. Accueil à l'arrivée et au départ chaleureux et sympathique. Le gîte est à 1 minute à pied de la plage et on s'endort le soir avec le bruit des vagues. Le gîte est le point de départ de longues balades sur la plage ou en vélo (prévu dans la location). En résumé, nous recommandons vivement ce gîte ! Il mérite ses 5 étoiles !

Cette grande maison est très bien équipée aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur + des équipements de sport mis à disposition (vélos et kayak). L'accès à la plage est très proche.

Eine schöne Woche am Altantik

Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet und verfügt über alle notwendigen Dinge und einen großen Garten mit guten Sitzgelegenheiten. Der nächste Strand ist in 2 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Vermieter hatte uns sogar 5 Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt, damit haben wir an trüben Tagen die Gegend erkundet oder sind zum ganz feinsandigen Strandabschnitt Richtung Hafen geradelt. Es gibt ab Cherbourg eine Art Regionalzug der nach Paris fährt, das ist zwar teuer, aber sehr entspannt so die Hauptstadt zu besuchen. Wir waren in der Hauptsaison da, aber es war trotzdem nicht voll am Strand oder im Ort, trotz der vielen Campingplätze in der Gegend verteilen sich die Menschen gut. Es gibt übrigens einen sehr starken Ebbe und Flut Verlauf an dem Küstenabschnitt, daran mussten wir uns gewöhnen um die richtigen Stunden zum baden abzupassen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super auf Englisch, leider konnte die Hausdame bei der Übergabe nur Französisch, wir haben eher wenig verstanden, aber eigentlich ist so ein Haus ja auch ˋselbsterklärend´.

Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir trouvé ce logement situé en face de l'océan pour le dernier confinement (connexion internet excellente pour le télétravail). Dépaysement total, maison magnifique et décorée avec goût. Nous étions agréablement surpris, car elle est beaucoup plus belle que sur les photos du site. Très fonctionnelle et contient absolument tout! Le propriétaire et la gérante de la location à l'écoute et aux petits soins. Je recommande vivement!
