Siamo stati una settimana in questa casa meravigliosa, immersa nel silenzio, nei colori e nei profumi della campagna siciliana, tra ulivi, limoni e altro. Tramite una strada privata si raggiunge in due minuti a piedi la spiaggia delle Solette, la più bella spiaggia della costa meridionale. La padrona di casa Evelina è stata gentile, disponibile e soprattutto davvero accogliente. La vacanza in questa casa e in questo posto è stata una fortuna che spero si possa ripetere.

Erholung mit Einschränkungen

Unsere Gastgeberin Evelina ist ein sehr engagierte Frau und sehr hilfsbereit gewesen. Die Lage des Hauses und der Strand sind wirklich klasse. Die Zufahrt sowie das Finden des Objektes ist eher abenteuerlich gewesen, die Straßen waren schwierig zu befahrende Feldwege (wir waren zum Glück mit einem Transporter). Das Haus ausreichend, eher klein, vor allem die beiden Bäder (extrem klein). Küchen-Utensilien und die Dinge fürs allg. Dasein waren vorhanden, aber nicht üppig! Das Grundstück selber mit Olivenbäumen und andern Gewächsen hatte für mich keine Struktur und war dem Leben vor Ort angepasst. Wir hatten am Anfang die Augenbrauen hochgezogen, uns doch mit den Bedingungen angefreundet und genossen unsere Tage. Wir waren das 6te mal in Porto Palo und kannten daher andere Ferienhäuser, auch deren Preisklassen. Dies muss vor allem der Agentur nah gelegt werden eine Überprüfung/ Anpassung durchzuführen, denn die Beschreibungen sind so schmeichelhaft, das sich schlichtweg einen falschen Eindruck vermitteln. Da wir nunmehr Evelina und das Haus kennen ist ein wiederkommen denkbar.

Agréable maison d'été à proximité d'une magnifique plage préservée

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans cette maison. La plage attenante est grande et très belle, d'accès direct privé et jamais bondée même en cette période de Ferragosto. La maison est agréable et bien ventilée, assez grande et fonctionnelle et le jardin est grand et très arboré. Certains équipements sont un peu roots mais c'est largement compensé par la beauté du site. Ecvelina est sympa et à l'écoute, très réactive. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Schönes Häuschen in ruhiger Lage mit toller Bucht in Laufweite

Evelina ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin, die uns freundlich begrüßt hat, uns auf den Markt in Menfi geführt hat und uns viele Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben hat. Das Häuschen liegt sehr idyllisch, etwa 500 m Fußweg vom Strand entfernt auf einem großen Grundstück mit Olivenbäumen. Von der Terrasse hat man den Blick aufs Meer. Der tatsächliche Ort ist in der Anzeige leider nicht richtig verortet. Hier sind die Koordinaten: 37°34'50.1"N 12°53'45.4"E. Die Bucht ist wirklich toll und wir hatten sie in unserem Urlaub meist für uns alleine. Da wir im Winter (Mitte Februar 2020) im Haus waren, waren allerdings generell nicht viele Touristen unterwegs. Aufgrund der Sackgassen-Lage und der abgeschlossenen Schranke ist es sehr schön ruhig gelegen. Selbst Hunde kläfften nur weit entfernt und nur selten kam mal der Nachbar mit dem Auto vorbei. Ein Problem war allerdings die Heizung. Wir waren im Februar dort und abends wurde es schon kühl (auch wenn wir die ganze Woche nur Sonne und tagsüber um die 20°C hatten). Zwei der Klima-Anlagen ließen sich benutzen, die im Wohnzimmer schaffte es aber kaum, eine angenehme Temperatur zu erzeugen. Daher nutzten wir zusätzlich einen der Heizöfen (anders als in der Anzeige beschrieben, gibt es keine Zentralheizung). Damit war aber auch schon das Maximum der Stromleistung erreicht. Wenn jetzt jemand duschen wollte oder der Ofen angemacht wurde, flog die Sicherung raus. Insgesamt haben wir knapp 10 mal die Sicherung wieder umklappen müssen. Außerdem war das Geschirr bei unserer Ankunft nicht sonderlich sauber. Was nicht aus der Anzeige hervorging, war, dass wir für die Endreinigung und Internet-Nutzung vor Ort extra bezahlen mussten. Den Preis fanden wir für den Standard recht hoch (wir hatten schon besser ausgestattete Häuser für weniger Geld). Insgesamt aufgrund der schönen Lage aber ein toller Urlaubsort und wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen (vielleicht zu einer wärmeren Jahreszeit).

Bezauberndes Häuschen in magischer Umgebung

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit im Haus von Evelina gehabt. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt und der Weg zum Strand ist – auch mit kleinen Kindern (von 3-9Jahren) – gut zu meistern. Wir waren zwei Familien mit zwei und drei Kindern. Das dritte Kind hat mit im Elternbett geschlafen, so hat der Platz gereicht! Wir hatten herrliche Grillabende und tolle Strandtage. Evelina hat uns mit allen Infos versorgt und gute Tipps gegeben. Ein rundum liebevoll und gepflegtes Anwesen in einmaliger Umgebung, welches zum wiederkommen einlädt!

Entspannung pur

Wir waren mit 7 Personen da. 4 Erwachsene + 3 Kindern. Die Villa liegt mitten in einem Naturschutzgebiet. Die Privatstraße zu dem Haus ist nur durch eine Schranke passierbar( denSchlüßel gibts von der Eigentümerin). Das Haus liegt mitten in einem umzäunten Gründstück. In diesen Gründstück gibt eine Vielzahl von sizilianischen Früchten.Ein wahres Paradies. Der Strand war traumhaft. Das Wasser glasklar. Auch in der Hochsaison kaum Leute am Strand. Die Kinder Hatten viel Spass. Der Strand ist nur durch einen Pfad der Klippe hinunter erreichbar. Meine Kinder machte das riesenspaß( meine kleinste war 4.), mit Kinderwagen wäre es schwierig.Und nun zur Eigentümerin Evelina, sie war uns vom ersten Augenblick sehr symphatisch, sie ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat ein großes Herz. Vielen Dank nochmal für die schönen 2 Wochen , wir kommen wieder.

A wonderful week at an extraordinary location

We (a family of 4 with two teenagers) spent a wonderful week in this beautiful house in an extraordinary location. A car is a must as the house can be reached on a quiet private road (dead end). It is surrounded by a large garden with many trees (citrus, olives, pears,...) and the sea view from the large shaded terrace is really wonderful. Even though we were there in July, the temperatures in the house were never extreme due to it’s location close to the sea. Only a short walk from the house (although the last part downhill is quite steep) there is a quiet sandy beach. There are no facilities on the beach, so make sure to bring your own umbrellas, but it is idyllic and there are hardly any people! The water is quite shallow and thus also ideal for smaller kids. On two days the water was rather chilly, but the remaining week the water temperature was wonderful. One can walk on the beach either to the next town Porto Palo or to larger beaches in the direction of Selinunte. The house is very well equipped, with a kitchen and a large dining table in the living room, and another table on the terrace. Evelina was a wonderful host, and gave us lots of hints on local attractions and responded quickly whenever we had a question. She cared perfectly for us during our stay!

Maison de la nature, du calme et de la sérénité

Nous avons passé (2 personnes) deux semaines merveilleuses dans cette belle demeure,dans laquelle rien ne manquait. Une voiture est nécessaire! C'était des vacances dans le calme,la route est privée et il n'y a pas beaucoup de maisons aux alentours. De la terrasse de la maison, on peut admirer un grand jardin pourvu de toutes sortes de plantes comme oliviers, agrumes et autres plantes méditerranéennes, le tout couronné avec vue sur mer et les chants des oiseaux. La plage, à environ 200m, est composée essentiellement de sable et de quelques rochers,elle est très plaisante,puisque la profondeur de la mer n'augmente que très doucement. Aux alentours,à Porto Palo, il y a 2 petites superettes où vous trouvez le nécessaire,et en plus ,il y a de bons restaurants. Endroit idéal aussi pour partir à visiter tout l'ouest de la Sicile comme Agrigento,Selinunte,Segesta,Trapani,Erice,pour les villes principales,ect.,toutes des merveilles. Grand merci à Evelina, une dame d'une grande gentillesse, toujours disponible et prête à nous donner des informations sur divers sujets. Un endroit merveilleux et à respecter, un endroit à y revenir.

Schmetterlingshaus - House of butterflies

The house of butterflies is a beautiful place. Especially the kitchen has everything you need. I was there with my whole family and was looking for a place where kids can play around… If you have had a busy summer, this might be the best place to come to. At Portopalo you are leaving a stressful society behind to listen to the sound of nature instead. Also you can eat there lots of local fruits. The sea is really refreshing and clean. It’s a place where you can cool down. It was really easy to contact the host for specific questions. Thank you Evelina for that amazing week, I’m really looking forward to come here again. Das Schmetterlingshaus ist ein außergewöhnlicher Ort. Vor allem die Küche hat alles was man sich wünscht. Ich war dort mit meiner Familie weil ich nach einen Plätzchen suchte wo meine Kinder spielen konnten… Wenn ihr Sommer stressig war und sie nach einem Ort suchen wo sie die Natur hören können dann kommen sie her, es lohnt sich! Man kann hier ganz viele Früchte probieren. Das Meer ist angenehm kühl und glasklar. Ein Ort an dem man sich entspannen kann. Es war wirklich einfach den Gastgeber zu kontaktieren. Danke Evelina für die wunderbare Woche. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste mal.

Un incanto della natura

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia in questa bella, comoda e, di tutto e per tutto, attrezzata villetta, situata in un vero e proprio paradiso naturalistico che è la Riserva del Belice. Spiaggette e scogli, declinati in calette, su cui una macchia mediterranea, antica e verde, fatta di palme nane, arbusti, ginepro, pini mediterranei, si affaccia sul mare e copre i declivi. Il posto è di commovente bellezza. Poco frequentato (che fortuna grandissima...), silenzioso, privo di strutture balneari, selvaggio e puro. Mi auguro che il meno possibile sia violato nella sua integrità dagli uomini e sia, invece, rispettato ed amato. Splendida la padrona di casa, Evelina, gentilissima Signora di altri tempi, premuorosa ed efficientissima. Una meraviglia tutto

Una vacanza INDIMENTICABILE

C'é a chi piace girare il mondo,ma io dico sempre, "prima assaporiamo la conoscenza del nostro paese che ha meraviglie e risorse inestimabili" Una di queste É sicuramente la Sicilia e nella fattispecie la zona di Menfi e porto Palo,dove si può trovare un oasi naturale e incontaminata,immersa nella natura, Villa Mariposa di Evelina Cuffaro,proprietaria di una perla di rara bellezza. Una villa accogliente come la padrona di casa,persona squisita è sempre disponibile. Di nuova costruzione, ampia e ben rifinita,con un patio coperto che É una meraviglia. Adatta alle famiglie e per chi ama la pace e la tranquillità.Si raggiunge a pieni una delle spiagge più belle, ed anche in agosto ci sono poche persone in quanto l accesso É privato. Indimenticabili sono le sere passate a guardare le stelle e la via lattea,visto che É privo L inquinamento luminoso. Sicuramente la consigliamo a tutti e noi abbiamo deciso di tornarci presto,perché é impossibile non innamorarsi di un posto del genere. Grazie alla signora Evelina che ci ha accolto con il suo calore e ci ha fatto sentire come fossimo a casa nostra. Famiglie Cosi e Funari

Natura incontaminata e silenzio

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia (2 adulti e 2 bimbi) a Villa Mariposa tra la fine di luglio e l'inizio di agosto. La casa e' molto comoda (ha ben 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni) ed e' dotata di tutto il necessario, ha una ampia veranda con sdraio e amaca per i momenti di relax e un grande tavolo dove si puo' mangiare all'aperto. La cosa che ci ha stupiti e' che non abbiamo per niente sofferto il caldo nonostante il periodo poiche' la casa e' sempre ben ventilata essendo posta su un promontorio vicino al mare. Un' altra piacevole scoperta e' stata la spiaggia che si raggiunge in 10 minuti circa percorrendo un breve tratto della strada sterrata e poi un sentiero un po' scosceso che scende fino al mare. Non potevamo credere che una spiaggia cosi' bella fosse praticamente deserta in questo periodo dell'anno, solo durante i week-end arrivano un po' piu' di persone ma non si puo' proprio parlare di affolamento. La spiaggia e' libera e senza servizi ma la consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che amano la tranquillita' e il mare limpido, e' adatta ai bambini poiche' e' sabbiosa e l'acqua e' poco profonda fino a delle rocce dove anche i piu' piccoli possono divertirsi a guardare i pesciolini con la maschera. Anche la casa e' molto silenziosa e tranquilla poiche' le case vicine sono abbastanza distanti e sulla strada sterrata passano pochissime auto. Consiglio a tutti coloro che amano la natura e il silenzio questo angolo ancora incontaminato delle coste siciliane, non verrete delusi !! Infine ne approfitto per ringraziamento la gentilissima signora Evelina per l'ottima accoglienza e la sua disponibilita a qualsiasi nostra richiesta. Silvia

un frammento di paradiso sulla terra

Difficile spiegare a parole le bellissime sensazioni vissute insieme alla mia famiglia nei giorni trascorsi a Villa Mariposa. Un angolo di paradiso dove abbiamo vissuto immersi nei ritmi, nei colori, negli odori e nella musica della natura. Pieno relax a due passi da una spiaggia incontaminata e poco frequentata. Spesso ad aspettarci la mattina solo i gabbiani, su una spiaggia tutta loro. La notte, nel buio di un cielo non sfregiato da nessuna luce, abbiamo goduto, con mio marito e i miei bambini, dello splendido spettacolo delle stelle cadenti, divenuto nel corso dei giorni un appuntamento serale da non perdere. Gentilissima e attenta alle nostre esigenze Evelina, splendida padrona di casa e foriera di consigli preziosi. La casa è perfetta anche per due famiglie, pulita, ben tenuta, nuova (è stata ristrutturata da poco) e fresca. la zona è ben ventilata, non abbiamo sofferto il caldo dell'agosto siciiliano. Tutti noi speriamo di tornare al più presto a tuffarci in quest'atmosfera difficilmente replicabile.

Un angolo di Paradiso

Vacanza da favola. Casa spaziosa e ben tenuta. Il patio esterno consente di vivere all’aperto con vista sul giardino mediterraneo dalla colazione alla cena. La casa è freschissima – nonostante il caldo estivo della Sicilia. La cucina offre tutti i comfort ed i bagni sono nuovissimi. Ottimo il disimpegno delle camere da letto con la zona giorno. La spiaggia – incontaminata – è a pochi passi da casa. Un paesaggio degno da “Atollo”. In spiaggia difficilmente si incontrano più di 20 persone. E’ un angolo di Paradiso ancora incontaminato. Ottimo per famiglie con bambini. Da ripetere.
