In ARONA on Maggiore Lake. Completely renovated apartment in ancient house within a courtyard setting, with vaulted ceilings in the living room / kitchen, nice to be a craftsman of the place, is located in a quiet and above all, only 50 mt. from PARCO ROCCA BORROMEA (Public Park with free entrance. In winter open only on Saturdays and Sundays). Inside the public park you will find a bar / small restaurant, playground, pond and animals. Ideal for a sunset drink and listen to music. From the public park there is a wonderful view of the lake, the town and the Castel of Angera. The lake and the center of Arona just 900 mt. around on foot, as well as all major services (bank, pharmacy, stores, etc..) boats out to 1200 meters. on foot. Statue of St. Charles Borromeo Colossus (San Carlone) about two / three minutes by car (even walking distance). The town of Stresa reached by car in 15/20 minutes and from there a boat to the Islands (Bella, Superiore dei Pescatori and Madre). Milan reached in 45 minutes by car (also trains service / bus). The Malpensa airport is approximately 30 minutes by car, making it ideal as a base for pilots, stewardesses etc.. Also nearby golf courses. Also a short drive away even the ORTA LAKE, MERGOZZO LAKE and "MOTTARONE" (altitude 1500 meters upstream. Above sea level). Nearby also possible to rent boats. Please note: dogs and cats in the property.

Charming

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay here. Communication with Patty went very smoothly and she is very kind (and they have a super cute dog)! Everything was very clean and the place has a lot of charm, so even with some rainy days, it was no problem at all to stay inside for a bit. Arona is a very cute town with many great places to eat (very diverse) and nice places to swim or spend the afternoon at the lake. We would defintely recommend! - Emma

Super angenehmer Aufenthalt

Die Lage in Arona war super, um den Lago kennen zu lernen. Die Wohnung war praktisch und liebevoll eingerichtet. Patty war immer ansprechbar und hatte viele schöne Vorschläge für Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Es hat alles super geklappt.

A very nice stay in a wonderful apartment

First of all, we want to say thanks again for the warm welcome and all the little "gifts" we got at the beginning of our stay. We have to say that the apartment is really very nice. The bed room and also the living room/kitchen have a lot of charm. It is well located and you can reach a lot of interesting places within a short car drive. When we stayed there my wife was pregnant and it was so convenient to have a nice place to take a brake during the day and also spend a nice evening outside of the apartment. If I would have to mention a negative thing it may be the couch/bed in the kitchen room. Because our daughter was scared to sleep alone I slept on the couch and the mattress is very soft and is more suitable for children or not so heavy people like me :) Other than that we were very happy with our stay. Erg goed

Erg leuk huis in het levendige stadje Arona. Alles zeer schoon en erg goed verzorgd. Er is zelfs al een voorraad aangelegd voor het ontbijt van de eerste dagen. De eigenaresse is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Parc Rocca Borromea op 5 minuten loopafstand waar je een fantastisch uitzicht hebt op het stadje Arona. Centrum Arona is ook op loopafstand, plusminus 10 minuten lopen.

Anche meglio delle aspettative!

Abbiamo di recente soggiornato a Corte alla Rocca e ci ha lasciati stupiti! La posizione è perfetta per godere, a pochi passi, della vista sul Lago, da dove abbiamo potuto vedere lo spettacolo delle Frecce Tricolori. La casa molto carina e confortevole, come già visibile dalle foto dell'annuncio. Dentro abbiamo trovato pulizia e tutto il necessario per passare un weekend in completo relax. Consigliamo vivamente la permanenza in questa struttura anche per la cordialità di chi ci ha ospitati sia prima che durante il soggiorno. Laura e Silvio.

Ricambiamo i complimenti sia per la cordialità (reciproca) che per la pulizia (l'appartamento è stato lasciato praticamente già ordinato e pulito!!). Siamo felici che abbiate potuto godere appieno del week end delle Frecce Tricolori (particolarmente impegnativo per la viabilità sia di Arona che delle zone limitrofe), da un punto di osservazione privilegiato quale è la Rocca di Arona, che infatti è raggiungibile a piedi dalla casa in due minuti d'orologio. E' stato un piacere fare la vostra conoscenza e scoprire anche una passione in commune.... .. le nostre mitiche Frecce Tricolori!!!! Un caro saluto da tutti noi... Patty, Luca, Nicolò e ..Shon !!

Unser Maiurlaub in Arona in der via Rocca!

Die gesamte Ferienwohnung und das Anwesen wirken sehr harmonisch, liegen sehr ruhig etwas abseits vom Lago und den Hauptverkehrsstraßen. Sehr nette italienische Familie. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet alles sehr sauber und funktional. Sehr überrascht hat uns der gefüllte Vorratsschrank sodass wir für die ersten Tage erst mal versorgt waren. Schöner kleiner Innenhof in dem wir unsere Fahrräder abstellen konnten. Die Gastgeberin tut alles damit man sich richtig wohlfühlt:):)
