This is THE Tahoe vacation home that offers something for everyone. This big, beautiful home is located in the heart of North Lake Tahoe, close to the lake, and twenty minutes from Palisades Tahoe (formally known as Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows), and Northstar. This quality vacation rental offers modern appointments with a cozy mountain feel. It is a finely crafted home, elegant to the eye, but hardy enough for the family.

The upper level of the home is very social and consists of a beautiful kitchen, complete with top of the line stainless steel appliances and granite counters. The family room is large and finely appointed with a real wood fireplace, flatscreen TV and upper deck with peak views of the lake. The Primary bedroom is located on this floor and includes a very nice ensuite bath with separate soaking tub and shower stall. The lower level of the home is set up for fun with a pool table, wet bar, and TV/entertainment center. Three bedrooms are downstairs, including the bunk room that shares a bathroom with one of the king bedrooms.

The upper deck has two picnic tables, a stainless steel grill, and a heat lamp, perfect for evening dining. The yard is perfect for fun in the summer, gated and well manicured. In the winter the kids can take a toboggan run. This truly is the home that has something for everyone looking to enjoy a Lake Tahoe vacation.

ABOUT THE AREA
Just west of Kings Beach and running right along the lake, Tahoe Vista is a favorite of outdoor enthusiasts. For lake lovers, kayaking from one of several hidden beaches, or a motorized excursion from the new Tahoe Vista Recreation Area boat launch facility are two Tahoe Vista treats. For landlubbers, the nearby Regional Park sports year-round trailheads for mountain biking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, a disc golf course, nature trails, and sweet swing sets.

In the winter, you are less than fifteen minutes from Northstar California. There, enjoy access to almost 100 trails and over 3,000 skiable acres, impeccable grooming, incredible tree skiing and enough variety to challenge every level of skier. Take advantage of world class terrain parks, cross country skiing, a youth Adventure Park, and a 9000 square foot ice rink surrounded by fire pits and a rink side bar.

Beautiful Home for a family

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely home. The game room was a real hit! Plenty of rooms and the fireplace was the focal point for us! It was well stocked and comfortable We would love to come back in summer!

Great house, great location

Very happy with the house. Better equipped kitchen than you usually see in a rental. Great location. 15-20 minutes to Northstar. Nice to stay close to the lake, and the place has peek a boo lake views.

Multi level fun

This property was huge with multi levels that easily accommodated 12 of us. The pool table, hot tub, and outdoor area were perfect to unwind after a long day around the lake. We love to cook and the kitchen was well equipped to cook large meals. Quiet neighborhood yet close to restaurants and stores along the North Shore. We will rent this property again!g David M

Perfect for family and friends

Loved this house! Plenty of room for everyone! We had 9 people and a 2 year old. The pool table room was a big hit as was the hot tub, horse show pits and the corn hole. Lots of board games to choose from. Nice neighborhood. Beautiful view and very close to town. Thank you to the owners of your wonderful home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. We really enjoyed our stay at Fawn View. The home was very comfortable and well maintained. While we only got to ski 2 days because of the record snowfall, we kept busy sledding and snowboarding down the street in front of the house. Would have been nice if the ice maker worked on the refrigerator.

All in all, this place was great, we've been coming here for sometime now, but this trip we found multiple kitchen items that were left dirty (utensils, plates, bowls, pots, glasses) We found a bowl that the last occupants used for chips or something, and crumbs were left behind, they couldn't even rise it. With COVID and all, this did not leave me with peace of mind. We felt we had to clean all the kitchen items before using.

Beautiful Home!

This home is amaZing! With multiple sleeping spaces, bathrooms, tonnes of activities in and around the house AND a really nice spa you can not go wrong with this home for a large group! You even get a glimpse of the water! The home is in a community with paved streets to walk through however beyond that you have to drive to most restaurants, beaches etc. We did feel a little weird with all the family pictures staring at us all the time, especially in the MasterBedroom. Nature (Fires NTahoe 2021) disrupted a few things before and during our stay however we made the best of it! Our concert and reason for travel was canceled but 3 couples still went (Home was originally for 10pp, 5 couples) The other half could not come because the severe health conditions and the breathing environment (the days were were there were noted to be the worst in some years) Otherwise this property management staff's communication after booking was very dehumanized. "I don't really care and too bad" kind of attitude to our situation made our group a little sour. A last min booking and we forgot to add insurance to our stay. Lesson learned, during fire season get insurance!! We would definitely rent this home again if we could rent directly with the owner or a different property manager.
