In Martel, medieval village of Quercy, our property is a former cannery. There are concocted confit, foie gras and other blocks. The detached cottage is situated in the south wing of the house. It is accessed from the terrace in the shade of the wisteria centennial. Wood floors, light, peace and comfort in 100m2 with kitchen, dining room, living room, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Large private terrace and garden shared with the owners. Sleeps 8 people 3 beds 140, 2 beds for one. Sheets and towels included. Cleaning 40 €. Equipment: dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, TV, wifi, parking. Walk to all amenities: shops, banks, doctors, market. 3 km, access to the banks of the Dordogne, swimming or canoeing. Close to all major tourist attractions of Causses, Quercy and Périgord: Rocamadour, Padirac, Sarlat, Lascaux, St Cirq Lapopie, Carennac, Collonges. B&B on request. Capacity 6 adults + 2 children

Bon séjour
Bien accueillis par les proprietaires qui habitent juste à côté. Gîte tout près du centre donc bien placé. Les fenêtres des chambres donnant sur la rue (Route de campagne), il y avait un peu de circulation le matin... La nuit c était très calme.
Le parquet étant en vieux bois, il est conseillé de garder ses chaussons ou chaussures pour éviter d éventuelles échardes... Joliment meublé avec goût, cela pourrait être encore plus confortable. Les lits 2 personnes ne sont pas très larges 1,40 m ? Mais cependant confortables. Bref ce sont de petites remarques. Nous avons été très contents du gîte.

Quiet, light-filled, spacious, charming and so comfortable.
We loved every minute of our stay here. Location was ideal, town is lovely, and just a short walk to boulangerie and medieval center. We used this as a base to explose the region and it was so nice to come back to such a delightful setting and enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace after our days of exploring.

Séjour en famille à Martel
Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine à Martel. Nos hôtes étaient très prévenants, la maison est très bien équipée et la terrasse est vraiment magique ! Martel est un village très vivant avec de nombreux restaurants et très bien positionné pour visiter la région. Nos enfants de 3 et 4 ans se sont tout de suite sentis à l'aise et ont profité des jeux sur place et du jardin. Une belle découverte !

Great location - Comfortable Home
Martel is a wonderful little community. Nice selections of shops & dining. Home is very conveniently located and within easy walking distance to everything. Fredrique gave us tips for things to see and do in the area. Home is very spacious and well appointed.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au sein de la conserverie. Bon accueil, appartement agréable et bien agencé, proche de toutes commodités. belle terrasse. Propriétaires très sympathiques, à l'écoute et de bons conseils. Idéal pour découvrir la région du Lot, ses marchés, ses points d'eau et tous les nombreux sites touristiques avoisinants.
