Sweet little cottage.
My daughter and I absolutely loved staying here. So clean and comfortable. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do in town. I would recommend this cottage highly. Owners are as sweet as can be.
We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, clean cottage located within walking distance to downtown Frankfurt. The property managers were prompt to respond to our inquiries and very helpful. We would stay here again and highly recommend it, especially for couples. Great stay! 5+ stars!
This property is beautifully situated in Frankfort. It is a short walk to the amazing beach and pier, as well as the shops and classy restaurants. The property itself is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you’ll need for your visit. Communication with our host, Jon was easy and she was very helpful and kind. I am certainly planning to stay here again!
We found the property exceeded our expectations. The property was clean, orderly with sufficient amenities. WiFi signal was strong and consistent. Location was as we had hoped, was within close proximity of the town's retail and city beach. Bill and Jon were excellent and cordial hosts.

Fantastic stay. The owner was great to work with and helpful with any request. The cottage was cute, clean and close to everything. We ended up staying an extra day. We walked to everything.
My husband and I plan to return next year. I would highly recommend this adorable cottage
Well designed and enjoyable small cottage for two ppl. Guests staying at the main house used their front porch so the backyard was available for us to use exclusively. The large yard with furniture is technically a shared space. There is also a cute table and chairs for two next to the cottage. We were fine with no washing machine or dishwasher. Clothesline came in handy! Walking distance to downtown Frankfort and the beach.
The cottage is quaint as described but is cozy has everything you could need. It was perfect for 2 people and you can't beat the location. Would definitely stay again!
This cottage is an absolute gem. It was extremely clean, well stocked and comfortable for our quick trip to MI. The patio was lovely and relaxing. It’s obvious a lot of thought and care went into this property. It’s proximity to downtown and all the events of the weekend was superb. We walked every where, we never had to get in our car. Jon was super responsive to our questions. We will most definitely book again.
This was our second year staying at the cottage. It is clean and adorable with everything we needed to be comfortable. We would have enjoyed a bit more privacy but I'm not sure that's possible while also being so close to town and also sharing the grounds with the main house. Overall a great place if you want to be in Frankfort.
The cottage was beautiful and in a quite location yet right outside the city strip where we could get food, drinks, souvenirs and beautiful views of the water! It was perfect! We loved riding the bikes on the trails, down to the beach or just to have dinner at the local establishments. Absolutely amazing and would recommend to any and all!
This property feels like home: The cottage is cozy and nicely decorated and has all the amenities I want. The owners reached out to me before my stay and they were very thoughtful. For me there is no better place to stay in Frankfort!
We arrived later at night due to traffic, and had a small difficulty in finding the property at night. HOWEVER, property owners were super responsive and helped us quickly in spite of the late arrive. A wonderful and relaxing holiday and thank you.

About the host
Hosted by Jon and Bill Hautz and Sheryl Robertson
We stopped in Frankfort while on a bicycle trip around Crystal Lake and it was love at first sight. That was more than 20 years ago. After years of planning and researching, we have finally settled on a place where we can welcome family, friends and guests to share in our Michigan retreat.
Why they chose this property
Dating back to 1890, this property is one of the early homesteads in Frankfort. The large yard with house and cottage provide us plenty of room to relax. The property is located on one of the most desirable streets in Frankfort and is a 5 min walk to the beach or bakery.
What makes this property unique
This property's location offers quick and safe access to the beach without having to worry about traffic which was a top priority for us. We want parents and children alike to feel safe on their jaunts to the beach. This ideal location makes it easy to return home for lunch or head down to the beach after dinner for spectacular sunsets.
