This property is exactly as advertised. Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and very functional for large groups. The kitchen is well equipped and the yard is a huge plus! The location can’t be beat. We walked the majority of the time to great restaurants, coffee houses, shops and the metro. The hosts are very gracious and communicative. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone visiting that wants the convenience of Old Town out the door and needs space for multiple guests.

We had one minor issue in the 1/2 bath and the owner responded right awayMy only suggestion would find another way for the outside garbages to be taken to the street. I am in my 70s and that was hard for me

Stayed there with eight friends, there was plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked, plenty of linens and towels, and a nice yard space to utilize. It’s a short distance from King Street, which has plenty of restaurants. The host was communicative and helpful.

This property and the owners are a 10 out of 10. The place is bigger than you will think. It could not have been any cleaner. Excellent kitchen should you plan to make some meals on premise (as we did). The backyard is a great space and hooray for off-stree parking. All the rooms are plenty spacious and the furnishings top-rate. The McCarthy's are super-attendant to your messages. Go. Have a great time.

We chose this property because it was close to local family. What we got was not only that but also just minutes away from all the sites of downtown Washington DC! This property is also so much better in person than in pictures. It is spacious, has so many amenities that I cannot begin to describe but suffice it to say I felt like I was living at someone’s private, beautifully designed and maintained, home. There were 8 of us and didn’t use all the space in this 3 story property. I will definitely check availability for my next visit to the DC area.

This home is lovely - it truly is a mix of historic and new. Decor is homey and classic; at the same time, amenities are all updated. We didn’t use the backyard barbecue but I can imagine how fun it might be to utilize the yard in warmer weather. Parking is easy enough with two alley spaces behind the house but street parking is also an option. The home is walking distance to many restaurants, coffee houses, shops, and the Alexandria waterfront. Jaki provided clear check-in and check-out instructions, and was extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Old Town Alexandria

We had a great vacation while staying at this house. It's a perfect spot for day trips into D.C and Old Town Alexandria is full of things to do. We definitely recommend this house for anyone looking for a clean, roomy and well stocked home for a getaway.

It was easy to get to the metro and also to the venue where we had our family event. The kitchen was great for breakfast to feed a group of family members.
