About this property

2BR on the beach, beautiful pool, quiet low-rise

Nautical Watch is a beachfront complex that you will never want to leave! You will love being right on the pool with a 45 second walk to the beach! Nautical Watch is a beachfront low rise on the quieter east end of Panama City Beach. This condo is on the 3rd floor with a big deck overlooking the heated pool. It has 2 bedrooms. One is a master bedroom with a pillow-top California king bed + TV, and one bedroom is a loft bedroom with two twin beds. The loft bedroom is nice for kids. My condo also has a pull-out sleeper sofa in front of the big screen TV in the TV room. I list the condo as having a max. of 5 people, but it isn't built for five adults, it would be nice though for 2 adults and small children. The condo is exactly 800 square feet. My cozy condo has terrific beach and pool access, about as good as you can get at my small price point. Most condos with 2 bedrooms, a pool and low rates are two blocks away from the ocean. My complex is right on the ocean.

THE VIEW: Nautical Watch is right on the beach. Two buildings are on the sand, four other buildings in this small complex are behind those two buildings around the pool. My unit is a pool view, the first two buildings obstruct most of the sand/ocean view. The units right in the sand are generally 2-3 times the cost per week, just an FYI. The sand is a short 45-second walk around the pool from my front door, it is a complex of only 72 units. So it is extremely close to the sand/beach, but my condo is a pool view.

What I love about Nautical Watch is it isn't a big high-rise condo. There are no long-wait elevators or crowds. At Nautical Watch, you can drive right up to my condo and be on the beautiful white sands of PCB in seconds.

The condo comes fully loaded to make your stay comfortable. Full kitchen, free Wifi, new refrigerator, washer and dryer, 42” and 32" flat screen TVs, cabinets, coffeemaker and blender, oven, beds and bedding. And the pool is an absolutely gorgeous sky blue with beach chairs and everything provided for you, even grills if you like cooking outside. Don’t bring any kitchen utensils, towels, a cooler, or kitchen supplies, it’s all already there!

The lovely east end of PCB has too many restaurants to mention, many within walking distance. Schooners is our family’s personal favorite, just a walk up the beach eastward for half a mile. And Pineapple Willies is about 1.5 miles west.

Great location and comfortable condo

We enjoyed a great week at PCB and this was our third time at Nautical Watch. Wonderful heated pool with plenty of loungers and grills. Just a minute to walk down to a perfect white sand beach. The condo was nicely updated with all that we could need for a comfortable vacation.

It was nice to have private access to the beach and only share with the condos nearby. It had everything we needed. The washer, dryer, and dishwasher really helped for our week stay. The condo was well stocked and was cute. It wasn’t super busy which was nice for our family. The owners were great at communication and even let us know what was nearby.

Best spot in PCB!

This is our 4th fall break in PCB, and we have stayed in multiple places. This condo was, by far, the best! We absolutely loved staying here! It was the perfect fit for our family of 4. The beds were super comfortable and clean. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed for our week-long stay. The beach was so close, no issues with space or rowdy folks. Such a nice and relaxing time away. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait for next year!

Clean Condo in Nice Location

The condo is clean and has all of the things you need for a “home away from home”. The condo is situated in the building closest to the road, so you do have to walk a few steps to the beach. Still extremely convenient! The narrow spiral staircase is a little tricky for adults, but not a huge issue.

We had the most amazing week at the most perfect condo. Everyone at the complex was so friendly. My son had kids to play with at the beach as well as the pool. A quiet area. Had no issues getting set up close to the water to relax and play for the day. The house was the perfect size. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Nice location

We stayed in the condo for a week, the 1st week of October. The area was quiet while we were there. The condo had everything we needed for the week. The walk to the beach was just around the pool as described. There is a private entrance and walkway to the beach. My only complaint is the wifi speed was averaging less than 3 mbps making it very difficult to stream anything on the TV.

We just stayed here for a week for the first time and we had an amazing trip! The condo was just the right size and my kids loved the stairs! The condo was very clean and had everything you needed. The owners are very attentive and super quick to respond. We were uncertain of our trip being canceled due to COVID-19, but Chad talked to us throughout the whole thing and gave us many options, which we appreciated. The pool and pool area were very nice and relaxing. The walk to the beach is quick and easy and the beach is so much more quiet down here. Loved it and would stay again if we visit PCB!

Lower lagoon.

We made the trip to panama city and was extremely excited to find a family friendly condo with beach access(no need to find a place to park) a VERY short walk from the condo to the beach. We also had a pool that basically never had anyone using it. I have a 7 and 2 year old so this place was just perfect for us. The condo itself had the amenities of home and plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. We had no issues and I could definitely see us booking this same place in the future.

Great communication with owner and easy check-in process. Condo was very clean and just as presented in the pictures. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. Plenty of towels and linens. Great shower! Pool was small but not too crowded. My family was there in July so we expected the beach to be busy. However, this stretch of the beach was crowded every day with large tents/canopies. Be prepared to get your stuff to the beach very early to secure a spot that doesn’t have a blocked view. Overall a great place to stay!!

Perfect layout for us!

My 3 daughters and I loved staying at the Hydeaway! The space was just right for us. The bed in the master was UBER comfy--I slept like a baby after our drive. AC worked great, water pressure was good, linens and kitchen were all well-stocked. I love the kitchen bar that seats 2 on each side so we could eat together. Easy walk to the beach without having to cross a street; the pool kept us occupied too. My kids thought the loft was great fun. We did use the pull-out sofa bed for one child, and it was OK. Probably not comfy for an adult, but for my little one, it was just fine. And the Gulf water was unbelievably clear and beautiful. Very happy, all around!

The Hydeaway vacation

We had a great time staying at the Hydeaway condo in Panama City Beach! It was a perfect amount of space for all four of us. It had lots of places to hang drying clothes and towels. They had all of the extras like toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher liquid, and lots of outlets for technology and extra fans. They even had a big rolling cooler that made going to the beach easier. The bathrooms at the pool were spotless and any of the renters we ran into were so polite. We loved how peaceful this side of the beach was. Everyday we had a great view! The restaurant Patches was recommended to us and we loved the veteran atmosphere and the food was great! We also like going to the wicked wheel. We will definitely rent from Mr. Chad again! The Dover family.

Great Stay

We were happy with the condition of the property when we arrived. It was pretty clean…passed my white sock test. There was a good variety of kitchenware. All that we found missing was a small saucepan (1 or 1 1/2 qt size). Other than that, we had all we needed for cooking most meals in. We found the bed and furniture comfortable and there were plenty of bath and kitchen linens. The internet seemed fast and was reliable during our stay. Our host, Chad, was great with the communications. We were very pleased with the complex…3 story buildings with an Old Florida vibe. It was a great location for us as it was out of the congestion of Panama City Beach. It was less than an hour walk on the beach to St Andrews State Park. We also had easy access to a Publix and Winn Dixie. We are already planning to return.

My wife and I co-bought with my parents. My wife is from Pittsburgh, I am from Lexington, KY, and she and I live in Pittsburgh now. My parents live in Lexington, and they are looking forward to a semi-retirement in PCB. With that sugary white powder sand of PCB, my mother is very happy with this resort-like condo. We're excited to rent the beachfront condo, to let others enjoy it when we can't be there.

Why they chose this property

My parents have been bringing me to the lovely east end of PCB since I was four months old, and we love being right in the middle of all the restaurants and entertainment on that part of the beach. The beautiful white sands of PCB bring us back year after year. And Nautical Watch was just the perfect place, a cute and quaint hidden gem, its meticulously maintained. PCB can start to look like Las Vegas sometimes with all the high rises everywhere, and we just didn’t want to put up with high-rise hassle, but we still wanted to be right on the beach and have a poolside condo – so basically we wanted the amenities of a high-rise but without all the elevator, check-in, and parking hassle! It took about two years to find the right place, but when we found Nautical Watch we just had to purchase our little slice of heaven. We hope you love our place and that it becomes your home away from home too.

What makes this property unique

Right on the pool and ocean, without having to deal with the trouble of highrises! Highrises mean elevators, crowds, parking garages, and hallways that always seem to smell like urine. Nautical Watch is an escape from the crowds and craziness. And the location is right in the middle of the action of PCB. Big pool view deck is awesome, and can see the ocean from there.
