Relax in the comfort of your own private indoor hot tub spa and sauna when you come off the slopes!! You'll enjoy our spacious 4 bedroom / 3 bath private home in a quiet neighborhood with cathedral ceilings and open floor plan. Finished lower level with large screen TV and ping pong table give plenty of space to spread out. Located only 5 minutes from Mount Snow makes it easy to get back and forth to the mountain . . . you can even come home for lunch.

We do not accept season rentals.

Please note when booking a week long stay, Saturday to Saturday is not allowed as it blocks parts of two weekends. You can check in / out on any other day of the week.

Perfect Family Ski getaway

This house was everything it said it was and more; our family enjoyed all the amenities and the kitchen was well equipped for our holiday meal.The owner was extremely responsive with any questions before and during our stay. The location is minutes from Mount Snow and downtown area. Highly recommend this family friendly, clean and cozy home!

Amazing stay!

This is our fourth year heading to Vermont for a ski trip and this house was absolutely amazing! The house was huge, very spacious and it met our needs perfectly. The owner supplied so many things from coffee pods, cleaning supplies, detergent, towels and linens, it really made our stay hassle free. The hot tub was the highlight for everyone. We had an minute ride to Mt. Snow. Check in and out was a breeze. I can't recommend this house enough, you will not be dissapointed. We can't wait to come back next year!

Wonderful Family Ski/Relax Vacation

This home was well equipped with hot tub, sauna, ping pong table and close to the Mount Snow ski resort and town restaurants. The house included so many essentials it made packing so much less stressful! Tom, the owner, was very accommodating to any questions we had and home specifics were well covered in an information binder. A perfect family winter get-away. Would definitely rent here again!

Great stay in VT

Our group of friends and family enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as described - was even more spacious than the pictures. Our adult children enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, TV, and ping pong table on the lower level. Kitchen and living room were spacious and open. Tom was responsive when we had a question. Dover is quiet but offered enough for us - we enjoyed local swimming holes, day hikes, and restaurants.

Awesome stay!!

Absolutely wonderful!! We came from Puerto Rico looking for the winter wonderland but apparently brought our warm weather which made it feel like home while BBQ-Ing in a sweater, swim trunks and flip flops!! The house really made our time in VT very special with its quaintness and vibe!! Next time we hope to light up the fireplace!!😁 Thank you!!!!

Great family getaway

Great house, has the amenities you could ask for and more. Held our annual family weekend away, my 2 older sons, daughter in law, 2 grandkids, my wife and our 17 year old son. We had an awesome time, love the spa and fire pit, very comfortable, we'll equipped home. Played golf at Mt Snow and went swimming/fishing another. Every night was game night and just having laughs around the fire.

We stayed here in the winter a few years ago and came back this summer. We loved the fire pit, hot tub & sauna, grill & deck- open kitchen & living room for sharing snacks & game playing- and being so close to Harriman Reservoir. Tom is kind & responsive & the home is comfortable, clean & well appointed. For reference, there were 8 of us- two adult couples, two teenage kids, a 6 year old and an 8 year old.

Perfect Property and Perfect Service

We loved staying in this great ski home! It was perfect for two families...plenty of room for everyone to spread out but still had a cozy at home feel and great game room down stairs for the older kids to have their space. Proximity to the mountain made it extremely manageable to easily get back and forth with the kids. Above all, Tom's service was exceptional. He followed through on every detail and was easy to work with. He did everything he could to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. We would definitely look to stay here again next time we are in the area and HIGHLY recommend the property!!

Clean, neat and spacious property. All supplies were made available.

Me and my family stayed for 2 nights in the property. It was comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essential supplies. The rooms were clean. Bed spreads and sheets were washed. We only made limited food stuffs as we went out to local restaurants for most of our needs. The hot bath was enjoyable, Also the ping pong 🏓 which kept us busy before we relaxed . Overall, we enjoyed our stay and even the kids enjoyed. You may please consider keeping toys and puzzles to play for small kids which fortunately we carried was very useful to our kids.

Best House Ever

My friends and I make it a point to get to Mount Snow and rent a house at least once a year and this house was by far the stand out best one yet. Its minutes from the mountain right off Route 100 which is very convenient. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the house was clean and well stocked with towels. The house it self is big and spacious with plenty enough room for 12 adults. The best part was the hot tub/sauna room in the basement which was perfect for after skiing relaxation. The two car garage was very nice also considering it snowed the whole time we were there and we didn't have to clean the cars off in the morning. I would definitely recommend this house and look forward to staying there again next winter.

Best House We've Stayed In

This is my groups 5th year coming on a group snowboarding/skiing trip to Vermont. We have stayed in a few different houses but our group agreed that this house by far was the best. From the layout and little finishing touches to the fresh linens and towels that made you feel like you were in a hotel to the full stock of supplies - this house was not short of anything. Not to mention the hot tub/sauna area was even better then the pictures could show. It is also so close to the mountain and any of the shops/restaurants you could need. Every single person in our group loved it and we had an amazing time. Tom was also such a great host! He was timely in all responses and goes above and beyond to make sure this house is in great condition. If you don't book this house you will regret it! Hope to be back next year!

Perfect location for a ski weekend getaway

After spending a long weekend skiing/snowboarding with friends at Mount Snow with this property as our base camp, it's safe to say that we are all looking forward to the next time we can get back up there! This house was the perfect spot for us to call home for a long weekend in Vermont. The home is very spacious and had everything we could have wanted in a ski house. The wood burning fireplace and ample supply of wood was awesome and made the overall feel of the house very relaxing. Being able to soak in the hot tub/sauna after a long day on the slopes was a real treat. The kitchen is also large and allowed us to easily make several meals from there. The sleeping accommodations were ample for our large group. The location is also ideal as it's a very short drive from the house to Mount Snow, or any of the surrounding restaurants. You will simply not be disappointed if you select this home as your vacation rental destination.

So accommodating

We rented this house to spend a weekend with another couple with young kids. All together there were four adults and four children. The house was spotless and the perfect size for 8 people (with room to spare). The lower level is almost like a separate apartment, which made it easy for the adults to socialize in front of the TV, play ping pong, relax in the sauna/hot tub, etc. without disturbing the sleeping children upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped too. The provided teabags and k-cups were nice touch! I can not say enough good things about my communication with the owner, Tom. He's pleasant, responsive, and makes you feel welcome in his home. You will not regret booking this house.

Perfect Getaway

This house was literally perfect. The location was ideal in a small, established neighborhood minutes away from everything. The living spaces were all inviting and the house is gorgeous overall. The bedroom setup fit our needs better than any other place I saw on VRBO (two couples, one single friend, one child (5)). The kitchen was well stocked. The grill was placed in a great spot, but we didn't get to use it since it was a short trip, unfortunately. The jewel in this crown of a house was the incredible spa space. I saw it on the pics for the home when I was researching and was hooked. Let me tell you, it's even better in person. The hot tub has been replaced with a newer salt water version, and it is MONEY. The steam room is good for a few people and the shower in the room between the sauna and hot tub is well placed. It's one of the most well thought out homes I've ever had the pleasure to stay in. After the home itself, Tom is AMAZING. Incredibly friendly and super responsive. One of the the best hosts I've ever dealt with. All in all, this place ROCKS and if you're considering it just do it. You won't be disappointed.

The property was absolutely gorgeous and very well kept. Overall extremely happy.

Our first impression of the property when we first drove onto the property was jaw dropping. It looked absolutely beautiful with the recent snowfall. Now it was time to checkout the inside. The other couples were a little skeptic and we're concerned they had paid a little on the high side for this weekend vacation but as soon as we walked inside, they simply stood there as they looked around and then turned to me and simply thanked me for talking them into picking this spot as our weekend getaway. It is just 5 minutes from Mt Snow if you are a Ski Lover but we found that it was just as awesome to stay in, have a few drinks, laugh and have a great time watching scary movies right next to the fireplace. Once we got the fireplace started, there was no turning it off for the remainder of the weekend. We all loved it. A special thanks to the Canfield's for allowing us to stay in their home. We had so much fun on our stay their during our couples getaway that we want to return next winter on a family getaway with the kids. The house is super clean, spacious and very well kept. The Canfield's definitely put alot of thought into this house and made sure that all necessary supplies are readily available for whomever stays there ( i.e. towels, cleaning supplies, coffee, garbage bags, barbecue equipment, etc). I totally recommend this location to whomever comes across it for their vacation plans in Vermont. Thanks again and we look forward to returning again.

Best house AND owner!!!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with this home. We will definitely rent again next year! We had 4 adults and 5 kids under 9 years old. The setup of the house provides more than enough room for everyone, and space downstairs for adults to have time away from the kids. The kitchen and house was fully stocked with supplies, more so than most vacation rentals...fire for the fireplace, cooking utensils and pots/pans, etc. This seems silly, but the mudroom was large enough so everyone could comfortably change in and out of ski clothes. A great part about this house is the large two car garage! Cars were warmer in the morning and not covered in snow. House is an easy 5 minute drive from Mount Snow and there are several restaurants close by for pickup or dining. You don't need to leave the house in the evenings, though. It is cozy, spacious and comfortable. The owner is the BEST! We accidentally left my 3 year old's lion "lovey" behind. Tom looked throughout the house, found it, took cute pictures of the lion near the jacuzzi and fireplace to show my son he was having fun with his friends...and then quickly mailed it back. Really above and beyond! Speaking of the jacuzzi (and sauna!), they were great. Often in vacation homes these areas are gross, but this house is well maintained. The owners manual for the house was extremely detailed and helpful in us getting the most out of our stay. We highly recommend this house, especially for families!! We had a great experience at Mount Snow. It is easy to navigate, which is helpful when traveling with small children and many people. PS- this house has the softest sheets ever!!

When I decided to purchase a second home, I settled on West Dover because it truly is a year round destination . . . hiking, biking, boating, skiing, leaf peeping, shopping . . . if you love the outdoors, you'll love West Dover.

What makes this property unique

We looked at over 30 places before stumbling on this one. While it needed some repair, most of the house was in great shape. Nestled in quiet community with a lot of woods, we fell in love with the place. We added the sauna, updated the bathrooms and brought a few other things up to date and voila . . . the pictures and reviews speak for themselves.
