About this property

Comfort, charm and ideal location, all in a pretty village linked to a huge domain (265 km of slopes, 4th French Alpine domain), you will not be disappointed!

The apartment is ideally located, you will enjoy all the advantages of the center of this pretty Savoyard village resort that are Les Carroz (shops, restaurants, pharmacy, cinema ...) without the drawbacks (quiet street). When you have parked the car, you will not take it back until a week later, everything is accessible on foot! The shops, the tourist office, the restaurants are very close, the ski slopes or the swimming pool are only a few minutes away on foot and if you wish you can take the shuttles, the stop is only 'a hundred meters from the apartment (and the shuttle bus ride to the ski lift then lasts no more than 2 minutes!).

The apartment has recently been completely renovated and redecorated: the kitchen, the bathroom, the cabin, the insulation (bay windows and windows) and the heating of the accommodation have been redesigned and renewed, and it is entirely parqueted. On the return from the tracks or hikes a cupboard in the entrance allows you to store your skis and boots warm overnight.
The apartment is also very well exposed, its balcony offers a nice view of the Aravis and takes the sun from mid day until evening, perfect for a snack in the sun!

In summer, you will appreciate the calm of the place, and the possibility of having lunch on the balcony. The outdoor heated swimming pool / municipal spa (also open in winter) is only a few minutes' walk away, as are the tennis courts, the pony club or of course the start of a multitude of hikes. Les Carroz can also be the ideal place to reside in all of Haute Savoie (Chamonix, Annecy, Geneva ... all within an hour's drive) and to practice various mountain activities: hiking, mountain biking, canyoning , rafting, climbing, etc ...

A little Gem in the heart of the village

I have been to Les Carroz and the other local resort villages a number of times in a range of accommodation sizes but this is so lovely I would come back. Its compact but not remotely crampt, even the bunkbed room, everything is bigger than it looks on the pics, the whole place has a lovey warm vibe, and great heating, its well equipped, beds are all comfy, reasonably quiet despite being right in the village - and I'm sensitive about noise. Bakery 3 mins from your door and its only a 10 min walk to the lift if you want a warm up walk, or the free ski bus is right outside. The village is lovely, and the resort and snow good enough to keep me coming back for the last 20 years. Parking is limited so if you bring a car be prepared to be creative with parking it, but i managed ok. You need a bit of French or google translate if your not french speaking as the owner and local contact only speak french, but they are both lovely, thoughtful and kind. All in all a lovely homely place, and frankly great value too. If i wanted a smaller place in Les Carroz again I would just book this, no brainer. Many thanks.

Studio cosy, fonctionnel, super bien agencé pour un studio, très bien situé, tout se fait à pied, le centre de la station est à proximité, vous pouvez laisser votre véhicule sur le parking et l'oublier jusqu, au départ ! Propreté du logement ! Excellent séjour !

Perfect apartment, excellent host

We couldn’t have asked for more from the apartment and hosts. It was exactly as described in the advert, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The location was central without being too noisy. The click-clack sofa bed had a good mattress, and the kitchen was well equipped (we didn’t use the bunk beds but they seemed fine). The hosts were excellent communicators. They answered all of our questions quickly and competently and did everything they could to assist us during our stay. They even collected us from the train station for a modest fee. Especially compared to taxis. I highly recommend this apartment.

Studio idéalement placé centre du village

Studio tout confort 1er étage immeuble au calme et au centre du village. Grande baie vitrée donnant sur balcon avec vue montagne. Excellent matelas sur le clic clac. Station à taille humaine offrant beaucoup de services : nombreux commerces, office du tourisme, navettes ski bus gratuites, 2 tapis remonte pente gratuits pour luges et skieurs débutants, télécabine pour rejoindre les pistes, patinoire, piscine. Tout est accessible à pied en 5mn.(piscine 10mn). Col de la Pierre Carrée à 1850 m accessible en 10 mn en voiture, avec circuits de randonnées ski de fond, raquettes et très beau panorama. L'emplacement idéal de ce studio a contribué à notre très bon séjour.

Appartement TB situé au centre du village, calme avec tous les services, bus,magasins,départ des pistes,un gros bémol difficultés de stationnement c'est un gros point noir,comment vont faire les touristes pendant les périodes de vacances scolaires.

Good Location

Bit of a language barrier (both ways), but we muddled through. Apartment is ok for 2, 4 would be tight. Bathroom good. Only a few things let it down. The worst was that there was only two radiators, both shaped badly for drying ski things. The other was the ski equipment was stored in two trays in an unheated area. Wifi would have been nice, but we knew that going in, so not really grounds to complain. On the upside, cosy bunkbed room, lots of warm water (took a while to come through sometimes). 2 minute walk to bakery/ shops/ ski hire/ ski bus. Sofa folded out into a reasonably comfy bed. Partial view of mountains. Good equipment levels. Overall we liked it. It's a good bet for skiiers.

Une semaine superbe malgré un temps capricieux, mais nous avons apprécié la location et le village.

Joli petit studio avec balcon bien orienté (soleil présent toute l'après-midi) tres bien aménagé, tout l'éssentiel a notre sejour était a notre disposition. Très bien situé a deux pas du centre ville des commerces et des animations, prés des télécabines pour aller skier. Bref que des bonnes sensations, a refaire sans aucune appréhension.

Sejour agreable dans un joli studio

Le Studio est tres bien equipe avec tout ce qu il faut pour se sentir "bien" le clic clac avec un matelas TRES confortable,lave vaisselle, et linge.... la studio est tres propre et joliment decore.a 2 pas du centre ville et des commerces . Lovely apartment

We have just spent a very enjoyable week at this apartment. The skiing was fantastic and the apartment is very well situated for the all the facilities of the town and for the main ski lift. The apartment is very well equipped and was very clean. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable aux Carroz d'Arraches, le logement est vraiment idéal, très bien situé et avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes, nous avons eu de la chance, les pistes étaient encore enneigées et le soleil était au rendez-vous. C'était parfait. Nous retournerons très probablement aux Carroz l'année prochaine et nous gardons en mémoire cette adresse de location.

Very nice appartment

We had a great holiday in the appartment. The appartment was clean and big enough for 2 adultes and 1 child. The location is also perfect, close to the shops and restaurants. And close to the skibus. I would certainly recommend the appartment to others.
