We had a great time, and love the Big Horn. This part of Colorado is so beautiful and peaceful. The Ranch House was perfect for family dinners, and we slept very well! (We didn’t use the interior ladder, exterior staircase was perfect for us).Also enjoyed the Silver Plume and Stumbing Moose in Pitkin.

We really enjoyed our stay. Matthew was very accommodating when we had to change dates. He was super responsive when we had a small hiccup during our stay and was so generous to offer assistance. He was one of the best communicators in this website. The home was nicely nestled in a spacious area of land. Easy access to the ranch. Great parking if you take equipment like trailers. Even the neighbors in the compound were awesome. Everyone was so friendly. The rooms were plenty big and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely recommend for a no frills affordable retreat!!

Quiet quant getaway

The proximaty to Pitkin & Gunnison were so convenient. The place was quiet, quant & the surroundings were beautiful. I will definitely book this place in the future.

Property was a perfect location to hit the trails. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few of our own meals. Plenty of towels/linens for our group of 7. Nice, clean place, will book again!

Extended family get away

We were in need of a second cabin for a family vacation in Pitkin and this place met our needs perfectly. Two of the families were able to stay here while the rest stayed in Pitkin. The house was nice although lacking a couple of minor things when we arrived. The location was great for us and we didn’t spend much time there but it was great.

Peaceful Family Getaway

Peaceful, VERY clean, quiet, and extremely well stocked “Ranch House” had everything we could’ve wanted for a comfortable stay in the mountains. My wife and I are in our 50’s and my parents are in their 80’s. It was perfect for us to have a wonderful stay.

Great for group

Easy access for trailers with plenty of room to park. Washer and dryer were a big plus. Lots of area for family to enjoy the area. House pictures were accurate.
