Great house!

Lovely house right near a beautifull quiet beach with views over Riposto on one side and Giardini on the other side. The house is very complete and comfortable and the owners are available for anything you might need, very helpfull and friendly. Great for kids too!!

Amazing seaside house

Amazing stay here. Spacious private pool with sun loungers and a massive garden with covered patio. A secondary patio had direct views of Mt Etna where you could watch eruptions as they happened. Outdoor charcoal bbq was easy to use and there was private parking. Indoor areas were cozy and comfortable with 2 double bedrooms and a third bedroom with 2 single beds. One of the showers have been completely remodeled and is brand new. Host was very responsive and friendly and had useful suggestions for us to visit Taormina and other locations. House was a 2 minute walk to a beach and a short drink to a grocery store. Would 100% stay again!

Das ruhig am Ortsrand liegende Ferienhaus ist groß, gut ausgestattet, sauber, mit einem schönen Gartenbereich und gepflegten Pool. Die hohen Zäune, das massive Tor und die vorhandenen Kameras auf dem Hof vermitteln ein gutes Sicherheitsgefühl Dass die Straßen nicht die Besten sind und am Rand hier und da Müll liegt, nimmt man als Sizilien Tourist in Kauf. Das Grundstück ist an der Südküste gut gelegen, so dass sehenswerte Orte wie Taormina, Savoca, Syrakus und der Ätna gut zu erreichen sind.Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte vom sehr sympathischen Vermieter und Tochter persönlich. Auch eine super Restaurant Empfehlung bekamen wir. Alles in Allem sind unsere Erfahrungen durchweg positiv und wir hatten einen sehr schönen Familienurlaub. 100% Weiterempfehlung.Separate Außen-Dusche und extra Außen-WC am Pool sind sehr praktisch.Wir haben fast ausschließlich die große, komfortable Outdoor-Küche mit Kamin-Grill und separatem Kühlschrank genutzt. 3 vollwertige Schlafzimmer mit weiteren Aufbettungen bieten ausreichend Platz für eine große Familie oder Gruppe von Freunden.Am Ferienhaus gibt es wirklich nichts negatives zu erwähnen. Der Strand ist ca 100m entfernt und war in der Nachsaison sehr ruhig.

Nice stay

We spent nice vacation in Carmelo’s house in August. The swimming pool and outside kitchen are clearly the plus of the house. The location is also perfect to visit Taormina and hike on the Etna. The inside, such as the shower cabins, could be improved. A bit more dishes could be considered as well. To note, we faced some water issue (no pressure and/or no hot water - Carmelo came once to fix it) and daily invasion by ants (anti-ant product was out of stock during our stay - Carmelo’s wife and daughter came once to clean up, upon our request). Globally, Carmelo was reachable and tried to fix the issues. Finally, our stay was positive and we enjoyed Sicilia, which was the most important!

Vacances en famille

Nous avons séjournez deux semaines dans la maison de Carmelo. Il nous a très bien accueilli et nous a bien conseillé sur la région. Concernant la maison je vais mettre les points positifs et les points négatifs. Points positifs: - exterieur magnifique et très bien arboré - piscine agréable - douche extérieur très pratique - cuisine extérieur et barbecue - calme - propre - ustensiles de cuisine et vaisselles suffisantes - frigo extérieur - draps et serviettes de toilettes et de piscine fournis - drap changé tout les samedis - bonne communication - Vue sur l’Etna Point négatifs: - les salles de bain (cabine de douche trop petites et débit d’eau trop faible, paroi de douche degondées) - problème de chauffe eau qui chauffe quand il veut - cameras extérieurs ( on ne sait pas si cela filme mais pour l’intimité c’est pas terrible) - Carmelo passe sans prévenir ( un petit sms ne serait pas de trop ) - Saleté de la ville (des déchets et détritus de partout) - plage (galets et sales) - wifi capricieux - Clim en supplément ( je comprends mais il faudrait le stipuler) En résumé nous avons passé un agréable séjour, l’extérieur et la piscine sont incroyable mais l’intérieur mérite un bon rafraîchissement surtout les salles de bain qui ne sont pas praticables, heureusement qu’il y avait une douche extérieur pour nous laver. Déçu de cette ville qui est très sale et sans charme mais à une demi heure il y a de quoi trouver son bonheur. Nous n’avons pas pu dire au revoir à Carmelo mais merci pour sa réactivité.

Nous sommes désolés que notre maison n'ait pas satisfait tous vos besoins de notre part, nous essayons toujours de donner des vacances au maximum de nos possibilités et nous regrettons quand nous n'y parvenons pas. Pour être honnête c'est la première fois qu'on nous reproche la salle de bain spécifiquement les dimensions de la douche qui sont standard et aussi je m'excuse si pendant les 15 jours du séjour je suis passé environ trois fois, dont une fois pour livrer le changement de linge et les deux autres pour vérifier les valeurs de l'eau de la piscine toujours à des moments respectueux pour une famille en vacances. Enfin, tous vos aspects négatifs énumérés de notre structure nous font comprendre que nous devons toujours améliorer notre travail pour tous ces clients énervés et nous ne pouvons pas nous contenter de ceux qui nous disent que notre structure est une oasis de plaisir.

Das Haus inkl. Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (u.a. hat er uns einen ganz tollen Ausflug zum Etna organisiert). Ein- und Auschecken waren trotz später Ankunft problemlos. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder wählen.

Nice Villa - great pool

We had a nice week here.. Fondachello is a small and simple beach resort with plenty of walkable restaurants closeby. The Villa is very close to the pebble beach and a small walk from the town. The villa has a great pool and outdoor kitchen and 2 doubles and a single bedroom. Everything felt really secure behind the gates and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. Thanks for having us!

Toller Sizilien-Urlaub am Meer mit Ätna-Blick, Pool und Außenküche

Wir verbrachten als Familiengruppe (6 Erw. + 2 Kids) tolle 2 Wochen in der Villa von Carmelo und Eliana. Zum Strand waren es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß, im sehr angenehmen Pool konnte man sich jederzeit abkühlen und relaxen. Die überdachte Terrasse mit Außenküche und Grill neben dem Pool war der zentrale Aufenthaltsort für Schattenplätze, gemeinsame Mahlzeiten oder geselliges Zusammensein, insb am Abend - wenn man nicht gerade Ausflüge oder Sonnenbäder nahm. Relativ zentral gelegen waren Touren nach Giardini-Naxos, Taormina, Castelmola, Catania oder zum Ätna mit dem Mietwagen kein Problem. für Siracusa reichte die Zeit dann leider nicht mehr. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, die Villa war sauber, die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern gut und stets freundlich (auf Italienisch; Englisch mit kl. Handicaps). Videokameras konnten wir bei Bedarf deaktivieren. Negativ aufgefallen ist nur die launische Müllabfuhr von Mascali und die teils wirklich aufdringlichen Stechmücken/Ameisen. Leider gab es keinen Toaster und die Toiletten verkraften offenbar kein Toilettenpapier. Damit konnten wir uns aber arrangieren und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit auf Sizilien in Fondachello/Mascali. Sizilien ist einfach großartig! Bemerkung: Im Straßenverkehr herrschen andere Regeln als in Deutschland, aber auch damit kommt man nach ein paar Tagen klar (Tipp: Immer auf die Vespas aufpassen, Rückspiegel oft kontrollieren!).

Schöner Familienurlaub

Wir (6 Erwachsene, 1 Kind, 1 Kleinkind) haben einen tollen Urkunden im Haus von „Carmelo e Eliana“ verbracht. Alles ist da, die Sommerküche ist perfekt und der Pool ebenfalls. Der Weg zum Strand (steinig, kein Sand) ist kurz (2,5min) und fußläufig sind Restaurants in Mascali zu erreichen (10min). Unsere beiden Mietwagen konnten wir auf dem vorderen Hof parken. Ausflüge zum Ätna, Taormina oder Catania sind in maximal 1h zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten findet mit in nächsten Ort „Giarre“ (10min mit dem Auto).

En fantastisk semester! Läget är perfekt! Poolen fungerar bra för båda vuxna och barn. Om man är rullstolsanvändare så kan vissa dörrar vara för smala, duschkabinen liten och inga armstöd vid toaletten, toaletten är liten om man har rullstol. Trappan till övervåningen har bara delvis ledstång. Om man kan gå några steg så är detta hus magiskt! Bättre plats i utomhusduschen än i kabinen. Där finns 2 ingångar till huset som fungerar med rullstol. Området är lugnt. Gångavstånd till havet. Dock stenig strand. Trevligt värdpar. Tack för en härlig vecka familjen Barros!

Dejligt hus, dejlig pool, meget fin have og godt ude køkken. Hjælpsomt værtspar. Tæt på stranden, som dog har mange sten og det bliver hurtigt dybt når man bader, ikke børne venlig strand. Området omkring huset er meget stille, huset ligger tæt på pizza restauranter. Der ligger meget affald rundt omkring på vejene i området. Alt ialt et fint hus/pool i et stille område.

Sehr schönes sauberes Anwesen

Das Anwesen war sehr schön, sauber und sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und war bei Anruf kurze Zeit später am Haus um die auftretenden Probleme zu lösen. Ein absoluter Hammer ist die Outdoorküche mit dem Grill. Wir haben nur diese Küche benutzt. Wir waren in den letzten beiden September Wochen dort. Beim nächsten Besuch des Hauses würde ich die ersten 14 Tage des Septembers buchen, da die Strände in dem Ort Mitte September bereits alles abbauen.

A great place for a family getaway

Two adults and two kids stayed in the villa at the end of October. The house is very charming and comfortable. There is a nice swimming pool, and a garden offering beautiful Etna views. The outdoor area is very nicely designed, and offers enough privacy -- dinner on the terrace, near the pool were "a must". Our kids loved it! The house is in a very calm and quiet area, yet the beach is just 3 minutes away and a handful of restaurants and bars (with sea views!) only 10 minutes away. The owners are very nice and friendly. Superbe villa avec vue magnifique sur l'Etna

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances dans la villa idyllique de Carmelo et Eliana avec une vue magnifique sur l’Etna, une cuisine d’été extérieure géniale et une piscine très agréable. Nous avons passé toutes nos vacances dehors. Nous avons apprécié cet endroit car peu de touristes. Carmelo et Eliana sont des propriétaires très accueillants et charmants, ils nous ont fourni de bons conseils pour les visites, les restaurants et surtout le marché aux poissons à ne pas manquer. Belle maison dans un bel endroit

Une belle maison bien équipée avec une très belle vue sur l'Etna. La piscine est très bien et idéale pour les enfants. La mer est à 2 pas, le coin est calme. Les commerces sont proches pour petites ou grosses courses. Les propriétaires sont hyper sympathiques, disponibles et serviables. Merci Carmelo et Eliana.

Une super villa avec Piscine et vue sur l'Etna !

Un séjour de 6 jours dans cette villa : calme et entretenue, 2 grandes terrasses avec barbecue et piscine et avec en prime des coulées de laves de l'Etna : spectacle inoubliable et aux premières loges pour l'admirer : un conseil donc : n'oubliez pas les jumelles pour voir cela d'encore plus près !! Merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et bienveillance, le jour ou nous retournerons en Sicile, nous reviendrons ici !
