About this property

Fall in love with Del Mar’s unique and charming beach culture. Located one block from the beach on Coast Blvd. between 18th and 19th streets. This beautiful two-family home is newly renovated with modern amenities and beachy décor. Walking distance to popular neighborhood restaurants, Seagrove and Powerhouse Parks as well as upscale shopping and dining at Del Mar Village.

This home can be rented as separate units or in its entirety; offering up to 6 bedrooms. The lower unit offers two bedrooms and two baths, large kitchen, as well as a private outdoor patio and courtyard. The upper unit offers three bedrooms and two baths. A studio with bath is located just off the courtyard providing a sixth bedroom. Each unit offers private entrance with four private parking spaces. This home will comfortably accommodate larger families and groups.

Other amenities include, a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TV with U-Verse cable, wifi, washer/dryers, BBQ, linens, bath and beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas.

Perfect for multi-family groups

We rented both units (including the studio) and found the common areas wonderful for evening board games and just hanging out. The lower level kitchen is so large it easily accommodated multiple cooks and made meal prep very easy and enjoyable.

Disappointing Check-In

We rented out all units of this property for a week’s stay. Upon check-in, not all codes provided worked. Took us over 30 minutes on hold to have management provide a new code. Then, upon entering the upstairs unit, we found bird feces on bedding in each of the three bedrooms and on the couch. We immediately notified the managing group and were not met with initial apologies, rather disbelief and continued requests to provide picture evidence. We then waited around the for another hour and a half for a property manager to arrive to witness the mess herself and rectify it by having clean bedding put on each bed. We weren’t able to fully check into the upstairs unit until two hours after arriving at check-in time. The internet was slow in both the upstairs and downstairs unit (do not work remotely from here without a hot spot) and nonexistent in the studio. The location and convenience of parking at this Del Mar property was great. However, we were disgusted by the lack of cleanliness and accountability of the property management to provide “excellent customer service” for the inconvenience during our stay. We will not be staying at another property from this company, TR Davis, for these reasons.

Perfect for our family

This property worked perfectly for our group. My parents were able to stay with us on their separate living space, and we could all walk to the beach every morning just a block away. The property was well furnished and comfortable. We are excited to hopefully return next summer.

Family vacation

Stayed in August 2021 for a family vacation including 7 adults and 2 small kids. We took over the entire compound and it was fantastic. Plenty of room to gather as a group, but everyone had their own space. We spent time on the front patio and 2nd floor patio. Having private parking was a bonus. Best attribute was the location. One block from a gorgeous beach. Perfect combination of beautiful sand, great waves for adults, but still great was boogie boarding for the kids. Great walking beach. Only suggestion - get a small "dorm" fridge for the small first floor apartment. I would rate our overall experience a 10!

Perfect Location with everything you need!

Three families had all three units so each was able to have their own space. Tge furnishings are wonderful and the beach equipment was outstanding. Never needed to contact management but their response with check in and check out was easy. Really wonderful to have 5 parking spaces at the back of the house !!
