Enjoy private resort living complete with a heated saltwater pool, waterslides, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen, views of the ocean, and SeaWorld fireworks. This home has all the fine details to make your stay in San Diego unforgettable including a fully stocked kitchen and both indoor and outdoor games. It is located overlooking the ocean and bays in a beautiful upscale neighborhood, yet close enough to enjoy all of the San Diego attractions in a 5–30-minute drive.

When you are not out seeing our beautiful city, you can relax and enjoy your private backyard oasis with your friends and family.

You will love our quiet, beautiful upscale neighborhood where there is plenty of parking. You can see the ocean from our home, but it is high above it to avoid having to deal with crowds.

The main house has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with a beautiful master on the second floor. The pool house has a loft bed, a queen sofa, a sleeper, a kitchenette, and full bath, and a shower. Please inquire with the host if you would like to add the pool house.

Details:
The main house consists of a master bedroom upstairs with a full bathroom and king-size bed and beautiful views. Downstairs has two bedrooms with queen beds and views of the side yard garden. A fourth bedroom with two twins and a pull-out ottoman bed with views of the pool. We can also provide pack-n-plays, umbrella strollers, and highchairs so please let the owners know if you need these complementary items.

There is a large living room with a 50-inch flat-screen TV and enough seating for 16 people. There are two spaces in our driveway and three spaces in front of the house for a total of 5 that are exclusive for your use. Our house is pet friendly but please inquire with the hosts to make sure it's insurance approved.

Our family of five had an absolutely fabulous vacation staying at this gorgeous home. The house is spacious, bright, airy and super comfortable. The best part of the home is the backyard and pool, which makes you feel like you are on a movie set, SO cool!!!!! The location is perfect, close to pretty much everything you want to do. Our host April was very accessible, checking in on us and right there if we had a question. She made an already perfect vacation even better. We are so sad that we had to leave, however, we will be back!!

What a fabulous home for our family of 10 to stay!! We had a couple of minor issues but April was great in getting back to us quickly. the pictures on the site are great but doesn't show how really good the pool area is. We had 5 kids age 9 to 18 and they totally enjoyed the backyard from going down the slide all day long to seeing the Sea World fireworks every night from the top of the slide area. This will definitely be our go to home if and when we return to the San Diego Area.

The back yard and pool/spa/waterslide area were wonderful! Everyone had a great time. The house itself was very nice but could use a litte deep cleaning of tile floors. Beds were very comfy. We tried to use the pool house for our adult kids, but were unable due to the hot temp and humidity and no air conditioning. Thought the fans might help but never really got to a comfortable temp to sleep and after the use of the shower the humidity was super uncomfortable. They ended up just making beds on the living room couches. All in all we had a great time just being together celebrating the newlyweds.

Great place for kids!

We stayed here for four nights and spent every day playing in the pool which was amazing! Two water slides, a grotto and waterfalls! The house was comfortable and well stocked. The neighborhood is pretty and close driving proximity to La Jolla. We would stay here again!

First, our host were amazing. Great customer service from intial reservations to check out. Super helpful and kind. The house was as expected, and the outdoor area was spectacular. We really enjoyed the location, and the views were great. I would highly recommend April and Michael, as they were very great host. Thanks for letting us enjoy this space, we had a blast.

Nice private getaway

We were looking at beach houses, but decided this place would be more private and indeed it was! Whole house to ourselves and didn't see a single other person around for 3 days :) The house and backyard combined is like having your own little island resort in the middle of the suburbs. Would definitely stay again next year!

What an amazing trip!! This house was perfect and everyone had space. The backyard was a hit!! The BBQ, the pool, the slides, and the hot tub is where we spent all of our time. The communication with the host was also 5 star. We had some change ups through the time between reserving and checking in and the host was amazing and accommodating!! We will for sure be returning for more family memories ❤️

Wedding getaway

We stayed here for the night before and the night of our wedding. House was amazing. Everyone said they felt like they were at Disneyland!! Pool was unbelievable. My kids got to enjoy it the first night and I could barely get them out! April was amazing. Easy to reach and so kind when the boys got a little too loud in the jacuzzi. We will definitely be back!

Friends reunion

10 friends from college reunited at this house and couldn’t have been happier. The views are hard to beat and the pool is like nothing else we’ve ever seen! We had such a lovely time and could envision coming back again, even with families/kids. April was quick to respond and very nice. Highly recommend!

Family Gem

Just checked out of this amazing property today for a sisters trip. Endless amount of fun down water slides! Salt water was amazingly soft and the stunning view overlooking the bay and summer nightly fireworks were the icing on the cake! Host couldn’t have been anymore sweet and accommodating. Super fast communication. The house is fully stocked with anything you might need. Very much looking forward to staying at this property again.

Amazing stay

Our family had an amazing time at this rental house. The photos don’t do it justice. We ended up canceling other activities we had planned to do and spending more time in the pool because the kids just wanted to play there all day! The slides are really fast and so much fun. There were lots of water toys and inflatables, plus boogie boards that you can borrow for the beach. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We hope to come back some day!

Lovely Home in San Diego

My family, all went for a vacation in San Diego .All of my grandchildren had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, central to all our activities, ranging from visits to the zoo, La Jolla beaches, bike trips and kayaking,. The backyard of the home was great. The pool , outside kitchen , and the 2 slides made it hard for us yo leave it. We spent so much time outside and grilled dinner each night. April and Michael weres super. Any questions we did have, they answered immediately, Wecreallybenjoyedvourselves!

Gorgeous Mid-Century Modern Home!

Absolutely gorgeous Mid-Century modern home! The photos don’t do it justice. The neighborhood is beautiful, and the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked. There are stunning views from multiple spots on the property. As stated in other reviews, the outdoor area and pool are incredible. The owner is very communicative and attentive. The weather was cool–highs reaching only the upper 60s–,so we requested that the pool temperature be raised and it made all the difference for the little ones in our group. We had a wonderful time. Close proximity to all of San Diego’s offerings. Don’t hesitate to rent this property!

This house was absolutely amazing. We had our family of 11 for an anniversary celebration. (11yo to 78). They all had so much fun in the pool. They all loved the slides! Great family location. Only 15 mins to all SD attractions and a fabulous pool experience to wind down, I would easily recommend this for generational fun. Hosts were very attentive and solved the minor issues we had in a timely manner. I would, however, suggest bringing additional pool toys and condiments as both were rather limited. Best tour, USS Midway, recommended attractions SD Zoo, Ferry to Coronado or simply let the kids swim.

Fridge didn’t work when we arrived. We had to figure out how to reset it. Dishwasher didn’t work. Host offered us another house but we decided to stay. Great backyard pool!!

We didn’t want to leave

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our son and his family, as well as our daughter and her’s. There were five boys, ranging from 5 years old to 12. We visited Sea World, the aircraft carrier, Midway, the beach and took in a Padres game. One thing we kept hearing from the boys was, “can we go swimming when we get back?” The pool with the slides was a HUGE hit. The property was clean and very convenient for our excursions. We had a few questions for April and she got right back to us. She was very attentive. On check out day, the adults DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE! The five grandsons felt the same, and as Finn would say, “plus infinitely.” We wouldn’t hesitate recommending this beautiful setting and would love to come back. Ps… great BBQ setup also.

I am a native of San Diegan who dreamed of living at the beach. My husband and I fulfilled that dream when we purchased our first home. We have raised our family and a dog named Kona in this house. Living the San Diego lifestyle at the beach with beautiful weather and unlimited outdoor activities at our doorstep has truly been a dream fulfilled.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this house the moment we saw the spectacular views of the city of San Diego, bays, ocean, Coronado Island, and to Mexico. It is a very quiet peaceful location on Soledad Mountain but is close to everything San Diego has to offer. There is something to do for children of all ages. You are minutes from the famous San Diego Zoo, historic Balboa Park, Belmont Park (roller coaster), Legoland, and more! Looking from the front of the house you can Sea World fireworks at night. You can enjoy every water sport imaginably just minutes from the property. If you are looking for nightlife or great shopping you can find them close by as well in Downtown's Gaslamp District, Garnet Ave in Pacific Beach, or on Prospect in La Jolla.

What makes this property unique

We wanted our home to be a private oasis to enjoy as much as the local attractions. Enjoy family time in your private resort including water slides, waterfalls, an outdoor kitchen, and a deck with gorgeous ocean views. At night BBQ and enjoy the breathtaking tranquility of watching the San Diego sunset and taking a dip in a warm saltwater pool (heat included in the price) or Jacuzzi. Part of a great vacation isn't just experiencing our beautiful city but spending quality time together. In our home, we pride ourselves on providing a memorable experience.
