Amazing sea views, great location, kind and generous host
The apartment is located on a rise above the town giving amazing views of the sea and the countryside around. There were some lovely sunsets visible from the living room as well.
Susanna is a wonderful host. She was helpful in her communication, arranging to meet us and willing to wait if we arrived late. She also welcomed us with gifts of salami, ham, drinks, and other goodies in the fridge when we arrived, as well as some bread.
The apartment feels like a real home from home. The kitchen is equipped with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee, and sugar in the cupboards, as well as kitchen towel and washing up liquid. Compared to some holiday rentals I've used which have clearly never been lived in by a real family, this felt much more homely and well-equipped.
The location is nice and quiet. The apartment is not far from the motorway, but the noise is not intrusive and didn't stop us sleeping very well through the night. The advantage of being close to the motorway is that it makes it very easy to get out and about and explore the nearby region. The apartment is also a short drive from several supermarkets, the nearest of which is open all through the day, even on Sunday.
The garden is very spacious and comes equipped with garden furniture and even a food preparation area complete with fridge/freezer. We didn't use the garden as we were there at the end of September and the weather wasn't ideal. The only problem with the apartment is that the garden is not attached to the building, but is a short walk across the car park. Since it's on the other side of the plot, it doesn't have the amazing sea views, although it does look like a great place to relax. This very minor defect is the only reason I can't give the property a 5 star review.
