We were so sorry about the broken pipe at the one bedroom cabin where you hoped to stay. It was our hope that you would be satisfied with the other cabin which was s little but larger, had an extra bed, and was closer to the river. I know how disappointing a change of expectations can be, and believe me, we were very disappointed to have the issue of a broken water pipe that couldn’t be repaired in a timely manner.

This was the perfect place to unwind! No frills but had everything we needed except the Wi-fi was spotty. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. We got to snuggle some newborn puppies, had firewood delivered to us at the fire pit and came home w farm fresh eggs. Great little get away!

First, there was a problem with the 1 BR cabin so Kay upgraded us to a larger one. It is so refreshing to see rentals so accommodating for those that travel with their pets. Kay also prepares for those instances... even though we carry covers and blankets for chairs, couches and beds. When we got there we got a Grand Tour of the property and farm fresh eggs for our breakfasts. The cabin was clean and equipped for our stay. At night it is dark outside so we took advantage of stargazing. Be sure to bring flashlights.

It was a perfect place to stay to visit Dino State Park and spend some time in Glen Rose. The hosts were extremely nice and flexible. He drove by the cabin one evening and gave us some farm fresh eggs!

Perfect Getaway

This was exactly what we were looking for when we decided to take a couple of days and get away from the grind. The cabin was beautiful and the owner was great! I highly recommend this place.
