Apartment in country house, surrounded by greenery, in the heart of Monferrato; ideal for relaxing or gastronomic stays. Near the town of Asti (10 km) and Alba (30 km), full of events and history; Alba known for its white truffles.
Ability to: make walking, cycling and horse riding (riding in about 5 km).
Nearby there is a well-stocked shopping center for supplies of food and non-food items.
The house is in a strategic position to easily reach the cities of Turin, Milan, Genoa and Lake Maggiore.
The family owned the house already at the end of '800, and rebuilt on an old farmhouse Nelg 30s uncle came from America had a fine appearance from the beginning. In early 2000, it has been completely renovated while maintaining its original features, and has been transformed into "holiday home" is taking care of the details in the restructuring in furniture, in order to make people feel at ease guests

We willen weer terug.

We zijn hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren, die altijd bereid waren advies, informatie en hulp te bieden en ons verrasten met kleine attenties. In de woning lag ook goede informatie over de omgeving, zoals gedetailleerde fiets- en wandelkaarten. De woning bleek mooier dan wat de foto's hadden laten zien. Het was er ruim, comfortabel, heel schoon en sfeervol. De keuken was uitgebreid voorzien van goede apparatuur. En niet te vergeten: de bedden lagen heerlijk. Een fijn appartement op een prachtige locatie in een mooie en rustige omgeving. We wilden eigenlijk niet weg dus we komen er weer aan! Marion, Carlos en Lucita

Un séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette spacieuse location. Une maison très jolie dans la campagne, paisible, toute proche d'Asti. La location est très propre et bien meublée avec tout le nécessaire, "comme à la maison".L'extérieur de la location dispose d'une terrasse avec de quoi profiter du soleil (tables, chaises, bains de soleil, barbecue,...). Les enfants trouveront également leur bonheur avec des jeux d'extérieur à disposition (toboggan et balançoires) et pourront observer tranquillement les petites chèvres dans l'enclos d'à côté. Les propriétaires sont une charmante famille, pleine d'attentions. Sur place on trouve une documentation variée sur les activités de la région (balades, visites de châteaux, de caves,...) qui est très belle. Nous n'avons vraiment pas été déçus de notre séjour!

Totale rust op het platteland

Casa dei Ciliegi (huis van de kersen?) ligt heerlijk verscholen in de heuvels op het platteland van Monferrato. Heerlijk rustig: gezoem van bijen en 's avonds hoor je de honden naar elkaar blaffen in de verte. In juli was het 's nachts 21 graden waardoor het huis lekker afkoelde en de binnentemperatuur aan het eind van de dag niet boven de 27 graden uit kwam: een prima temperatuur om lekker te kunnen slapen. Overdag liep de temperatuur op tot zo'n 35 graden en de luiken moesten dan wel gesloten blijven. De autoweg van Asti naar Casale Monferrato is slechts 5 minuten rijden verwijderd en daar is tevens de supermarkt gevestigd waar alles wat je maar nodig mocht hebben te koop is (noteer wel de afwijkende openingstijden). Van de lieve eigenares kregen we om de dag een grote courgette, want die waren juist rijp in haar eigen tuin. Ook voor kruiden zoals salie en basilicum werd gezorgd. De eigenares en haar dochter (die als enige redelijk Engels spreekt) doen alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Alles is van hieruit goed te berijden: Asti een kwartiertje rijden, Turijn (een aanrader!) drie kwartier rijden, Barolo drie kwartier tijden, de kust van Genua een uur rijden en Milaan anderhalf uur rijden. De kinderen waren dol op de geiten en het hondje. De geiten fungeren als een groen container: alles wat eetbaar is wordt door ze gerecycled. Een andere grote hit: de hangmat in de schaduw tussen de bomen. Heerlijk om je Donald Duck in te lezen! Klein minpuntje: 's avonds na half negen komen de muggen en ga je vanzelf wel naar binnen. De meeste ramen hebben een hor zodat de muggen goed buiten worden gehouden. Een echte aanrader. Als we ooit naar Piemonte terug gaan, boeken we zeker weer hier.

A perfect holiday

The location is minutes from highways to Asti, to the wine region between Asti and Alba, Torino and other sites. The apartments are pleasantly furnished and spotlessly clean. Linens are high quality. The kitchen is well-appointed, a true gift among apartment kitchens. In other words, all of our travel needs were met. The holiday was made perfect by the hosts' graciousness and the ambience of the casa. We were allowed our privacy; yet, our hosts were like immediate friends. They left baskets of tomatoes and peppers from their garden at our door, gave us a tour of the museum at Castell'Alfero, provided us with a welcoming bottle of wine, home made preserves and a dish of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Even Tommy, their little dog, greeted us each day with a wagging tail. The old house is lovingly restored and is a charming backdrop for the picnic tables and lounge chairs on the patio. I have already recommended Casa dei Ciliegi to friends. It is like a home away from home. Linda

Pleasant Experience

Hosts were like family. The owner gave us a private tour of a nearby castle. Nice open air site. Very clean and comfortable. Minutes from Asti. A couple of hours from Aosta.

WOW what a great place

What a wonderful home. It was beautiful and the view fantastic. We were greeted by a wonderful dog. The family was so cordial and the home delightful. We were so close to the wine country and the other delights of the this area. We were very close to Asti as well as a short ride to Lake Como and Lake Maggiore. Had a delightful time in a winery. The family allowed us to use their internet wifi so we could keep up with our family. The home was very clean and very modern the kitchen to die for and also cook in. We wish is was warmer so we could enjoy the beautiful picnic table. It was very close to grocery stores and gas stations. We would recommend this to everyone.

Un soggiorno spendido a contatto con la natura.

Situato in posizione tranquilla, immerso nel verde delle colline, a pochi KM. da Asti, troverete una casa accogliente e pulita con tutto l'indispensabile per passare delle splendide giornate di riposo e se volete di cultura. E' adatto sia alle coppie che alle famiglie, noi eravamo in quattro. I proprietari sono persone per bene, disponibili e gentili. Insomma un tuffo nel passato.... se avete il sonno leggero, vi sveglierete al canto del gallo (ci sono veramente!) Giudizio : PIENAMENTE POSITIVO!!!

Nella campagna astigiana per ritornare bambini..

Trascorrere una settimana in questo casale e' stato per me un po' come tornare bambina e rivivere quelle sensazioni infantili dove ogni colore,fiore,animale suscitavano sempre una grande emozione...Consiglio a tutti,ma soprattutto alle famiglie,ora io sono madre di due gemelli di due anni,di rivivere quelle sensazioni e di tuffarsi in questo piccolo paradiso di relax e di riassaporare un po'di campagna. Particolare inoltre la cortesia della proprietaria e di tutta la sua famiglia.
