This spacious 8-bedroom villa in the Daverdisse area of the Ardennes comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests, making it perfect for large families or groups. The villa boasts abundant natural light and modern amenities including a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. Wonderful Family Holiday House

We had a lovely time in this spacious house. It was well equipped for 4 adults and 8 children, even when it rained an awful lot! The kids loved the outdoor space, we loved the view and the freedom it gave them to play. As with many holiday houses, the kitchen equipment was a bit odd, with only one chopping board, a tiny bin, broken teapot but loads of cutlery, wine glasses etc! But, everything was clean and worked well. We went to Bouillon, Dinant and then a couple of beautiful local river walks along the Lesse and Almarche. Highly recommend. Definitely worth a visit. Bedroom wise, would have fitted more people, but we had the dining table at full stretch I believe, with 12 of us.

Een hele fijne, ruime en traditioneel ingerichte vakantiewoning voor 14 personen. Wij hebben er zeer genoten, maar er zijn wel een paar verbeterpunten die het allemaal nog beter kunnen maken. De enorme tuin zou nog fijner zijn als er enkele speeltoestellen (schommel, glijbaantje etc) voor de kinderen worden geplaatst. Het terras is fijn om te zitten, maar 1 mini-parasolletje is wel erg weinig. Er is alleen een zeer summiere franse info-map waar eigenlijk niks in staat. Nergens wordt vermeld waar en hoe je de dichtsbijzijnde huisarts of dokterspost kunt bereiken (en die hadden wij toevallig wel nodig), hoe de tv aan moet, hoe het afval moet worden opgeruimd. Dus meer aandacht besteden aan je gasten door ze wat beter (twee-talig) te informeren. En het ontbreken van douches is echt een nadeel als je ook een aantal ouderen in je groep hebt, die lastig over de gladde badrand heen kunnen. Het huis en interieur kan overigens wel een opknapbeurtje gebruiken. Dit allemaal bedoeld als opbouwende kritiek die het voor de volgende gasten nog beter kan maken. Want uiteindelijk hebben wij hier een heerlijk weekend gehad. En bezoek vooral het plaatsje Redu op 5 km afstand. Klein maar heel leuk en zeer uitgebreide horeca

Kurzurlaub in Daverdisse

Das Haus hat ausreichend Platz für uns geboten. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß und bietet viele Möglichkeiten. Die elektrischen Geräte sind deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und sollten ersetzt werden. Weiter sollte das Besteck und insbesondere die Messer erneuert werden.

Het huis was heel ruim en kraaknet. We hebben enorm genoten van het uitzicht in de tuin. Zeer geschikt huis voor een gezellige familieverblijf. Ook zijn er in de omgeving heel mooie wandelroutes. Echter koelt de koelkast niet goed, zijn de bedden dringend aan vernieuwing toe (zeer slecht geslapen) Ook is de vloertapijt boven niet echt proper en geschikt voor mensen met een allergie voor stof. Door dat er geen vliegendeur is aan de terrasdeur, komen er zeer veel muggen binnen. Als dit alles zou vervangen worden, zou het gewoon TOP geweest zijn.

Het is een mooi groot huis met een enorme tuin en is rustig gelegen. In de omgeving is voldoende te beleven zoals wandelen, leuke dorpjes bezoeken en kajakken op de lesse. Paar puntjes ter verbetering. De keuken was niet echt heel schoon en de aanvoer van warm water was via twee boilers. Dus opletten met douchen. De beschrijving van de woning klopt niet helemaal. Er is boven nog een los toilet, dus 3 in totaal wat wel fijn is met 14 personen. Daarnaast was aangegeven dat de contactpersoon op nr 27 woonde maar dat klopt niet.

Nicely situated spacious property

Large house, beautiful little village and excellent surroundings for MTB and walking. Very, very clean property and friendly host. Property is a bit tired in places and could do with some modernisation and maintenance. Dining table layout split in a large table and a small table, table and chairs a bit tired and not extremely comfortable. Not all beds super comfortable. Garden is advertised as being fenced but it is not closed off completely (for a pet). One tiny little tea pot for a 13 person house.
