The Chalets A-Frames are iconic, romantic, cozy and comfortable with two queen bed sleeping areas and one full bath. Arranged along the ridge of a hill, each A-Frames has a private deck with hot tub, grill and view into mature woods. Their vaulted open-concept living areas include a kitchenette, dining for four, fire place, flat-screen tv, exposed beams and lots of light. And every one is pet-friendly*! The A-Frames are at the Chalets' Old Man's Cave location of 140 acres, 31 cabins, pool, firepits, SaunaPods, electric vehicle charging stations, office and neighboring General Store. It sits two miles from the epicenter of the region: Hocking Hills State Park visitors center.

The chalet was ideal for a weekend getaway - and was clean, well equipped, and comfortable! We enjoyed using the large fire pit and porch swing that was on the property, and truly appreciated the hot tub on the back porch!! It was in minutes from key sightseeing and in a beautiful location. We will definitely be back!!

The place was spotless and the hot tub views were gorgeous. One of the burners on the stove were not working and I didn’t realize there was no oven, which was inconvenient. However, the close access to the fire pit was wonderful and the location was perfect. It was overall a fantastic stay and we would definitely come again!

Perfect 3 night stay

My 18-year-old daughter, and I spent 3 nights in Hocking Hills at the chalets A-frame cabins. Location was convenient to All of the hiking locations. The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed, and we appreciated that it was pet friendly. The area was very quiet and the hot tub was clean in good working condition. No complaints at all. Would stay there again. Thank you!

A Frame

Cute little place that we were able to get last minute. The place is in a nice little setting overlooking the woods. Pictures displayed are as rental appears. Clean and stocked with necessities. Small mini fridge. Hot tub was perfect! Units are close together, so there are privacy screens, but you can hear others talking. All in all, it was a nice weekend retreat.

What a Memorial Trip

Overall = A+ All the accommodations were spot on and exactly what we expected, proximity to the State Park was excellent, the A-frame was cozy, yet plenty of space and room for a weekend for two. I would highly recommend it.

DANGER - BED BUGS !!!!!

On November 28, 2021 we rented an A-frame chalet number #16 for 2 days/2 nights from Chalet‘s at Hocking Hills. We woke to being attacked by multiple bed bugs in the bed we were sleeping in. It wasn’t only awful to experience bed bugs, but my boyfriend was covered in bites and had an allergic reaction. It was also my 40th birthday and we both took off time from our businesses to celebrate. The only thing that happened was that we got a reimbursement for our stay. Not one apology or response from the owner! The least he could have done was send an email apologizing for the experience we had, but nothing. Even the woman we spoke with on the phone in the morning was short with us and robotic. Mind you, we were polite in how spoke about what had happened. So this was surprising to us. We had to launder everything and seek treatment instead of being able to celebrate. Please do not stay at this property. Our experience was completely shocking and upsetting with the bed bugs alone, but disappointing with how it was handled.

Located under 10 minutes from Old Mans Cave. Peaceful back deck with hot tub. Beautiful wooded neighborhood, sauna pods available to rent. Clean , kitchen has a stove top , No oven . Small refrigerator, small freezer. Beds clean and comfy. Wood burning fireplace water is so soft. PET FRIENDLY 🐾Community Pool. Perfect for 2 to 6 people. Queen bed, Double bed and pull out couch! Will be going back!!!

Nice, compact house with fireplace. Great and clean hot tub. Very good for 2 or four people. Need more cleaning attention, specially cobwebs. Everything else was clean. Thank you. Definitely will go again.

2 night stay

We had a great stay in this location! Its the 1st time in a long time we weren't afraid to use a hot tub in a stay. They did daily outside maintenance. Seemed cleaned and maintained well! Our only complaint would be the internet service. Its basic cable so we tried to use our Netflix account and we could not stay connected. We used Amazon Prime and that worked fine. So for downtime entertmaent or if you have kids, bring DVDs or a back up plan. We were happy to at least have Amazon Prime to watch a movie each night. We would stay again! Plus pet friendly was a plus to take our pups!
