My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Got to see some great state parks, fish and eat at a couple nice restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful place. We would recommend.
This is a delightful property. It is modern, well furnished and impeccably decorated. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
Well appointed and equipped. The owners are most helpful and very pleasant in all respects.
Great neighbours and quiet area. Whilst shopping is a few miles away the road network is easy and uncongested.

Absolutely Wonderful!!!
My wife and I enjoyed staying the Memorial Day Weekend here. The cleanliness was unparalleled!!! Great communication with the owners who were more than accommodating. Just about everything you can imagine is available to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, as well as little extras, such as a refrigerator stocked with eggs And English muffins. Morning coffee on the porch overlooking the canal should not be missed!!! We will definitely be back.

Enjoyed a relaxing week
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and efficient. We explored the surrounding area and enjoyed our boat trip on the St John's river with a neighbor to explore osprey nest sites. Quiet safe neighborhood for walking and birding. we will stay again if we return to the area.

About the host
Hosted by Natascha Morrison
I was born in Germany and had the luxury of growing up overseas. The last 25+ years I have spent in the hospitality field, managing hotels in both Washington DC as well as in Florida. My husband, originally from New Jersey, is retired Coast Guard and now works as a boat captain for the Army Corps of Engineers. We enjoy the outdoors, love taking boat rides on the beautiful St. Johns River and know you will like this part of "old" Florida.
Why they chose this property
The peaceful and friendly neighborhood is a great place to live and the direct water access makes it a perfect location for our boating lifestyles. My husband built our beautiful ICF home with lots of space for family and friends to visit. With everyone's super busy schedules, it has left this "guest" space vacant and now is available for other travelers to enjoy.
What makes this property unique
Surrounded by spring-fed lakes that constantly feed fresh water into the river. A small waterfall attracts visitors such as manatees, turtles and alligators to our, along with a variety of birds. We have even had otters run across from the lake to the canal and had a big black bear lying in our front yard in the middle of the night.
