An exciting excellent holiday!

It was a wonderful property, like living in an art gallery, so many art works in every room. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable and we appreciated the toiletries in the bathrooms. Our host, Denis, was very helpful. As we had no car, he told us how to cross Paris and how to use the local bus to reach Versailles. And he answered our questions promptly during our stay.

Charm and character

Charming home. Offered experience of French life. I did not anticipate the elevation but it was all good. We enjoyed getting to know Denis. He was very helpful with recommendations, responsive, and welcoming.

Charming house accessible to Versailles and Paris by public transit.

Denis was an attentive and responsive host offering advice on everything from swimming to CD stores. The house is comfortably appointed on a beautiful little street. I qas concerned to be so close to rail tracks but it was not noisy at all (for this city girl). A bit of a trek to bus/metro but this was good training for the stairs at Monmartre! Lovely to come home to this country house after the bustling city

Sèvres home

The property is clean and well maintained. The owner is kind and communicative. He really cherishes his home and it shows. This is a great property for ages 6 and above but not for younger children. There are many beautiful items in the home that should not be touched and so it is not really “baby proof” for those with small children who wish to investigate everything. Also be aware that to get to the public transportation, hills and long staircases are involved. We liked the jacuzzi a lot as well.

We did not stay even for one night as this property was found to be unacceptable. We have requested a refund, but have not heard from the host.

Upon arrival at the house this person decided that she would not stay because his friend could not handle stairs. That’s what she calls « unacceptable ». Knowing that her friend had difficulties climbing stairs she should have asked me about it before making the reservation. She even complained that there were stairs to walk to the center of the city ! This person adds that I did not reply to her request. I did reply. We exchanged quite a few messages in fact. Eventually I made a partial reimbursement. It made no sense to do a full reimbursement. By canceling upon arrival based on her own criteria, she left me no chance to rent the house again. Ce qui est incroyable c'est que Abritel valide la publication et la note de ces voyageurs alors qu'ils n'ont même pas séjourné chez moi ! D'autant que s'ils m'ont mis une aussi mauvaise note, c'est qu'ils étaient très en colère non contre moi mais contre Abritel, car ils avaient faits précédemment une réservation qui avait été annulée et ont du chercher à la dernière minute un nouveau logement : le mien.

Sevres stay, good times

We stayed in the owner's house while he was getting ready to travel. Greeted us upon arrival (and we had a backup plan if we didn't intercept...great communications!). We stayed there for two days, didn't spend much time in the house. Location great if you need parking or plan on walking to Metro (we chose that route, didn't want to drive into Paris). Metro a bit of a hike (20 minutes) but we needed the exercise. Metro is easy, can take it to Versailles or into Paris (tourist stops like Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame) via one transfer to another line. Overall a great stay with a friendly owner at a reasonable rate. If you want 5 star hotel and all those accoutrements, this is not your place. If you'd like to find affordable, clean, friendly and flexible, with plenty of options, then this is highly recommended.

Une soirée au top

Le logement était vraiment adapté à notre "grand" groupe (4 chambres pour couples, 2 salles de bain, grande table pour manger) avec des ados (1 grande chambre pour eux, des chambres sur 3 étages pour ceux qui voulaient être tranquilles). Le cadre est tranquille et agréable (jardinet pour se profiter de l'apéro). Et Denis a été très réactif et attentif à nos demandes. Parfait !!

Perfecto para viajar a Paris en coche.

Casa cercana al centro de Paris, perfecta para viajar desde otro lugar en coche. Como fuimos en agosto pudimos ir a algunos lugares con el coche particular y en otros días desde el transporte público cercano. Denis te deja unas recomendaciones muy bien explicadas. Gracias.

Grande maison proche de Paris

Tout s'est très bien passé, il y a un jardin avec une terrasse et un barbecue, très pratique en été. La maison est grande, dispose de plusieurs lits ce qui est utile pour loger plusieurs personnes. C'était la seconde fois que je passais un séjour dans ce logement et je suis toujours contente, je recommande ! Denis est à l'écoute et très disponible pour toute demande

Gemütliches Quartier im hügeligen Aussenbezirk

Gemütliches Quartier mit sehr nettem Vermieter. Für fünf Personen mehr als ausreichend. Der Bahnhof mit zahlreichen Zügen Richtung Paris und Versailles lässt sich über einen schönen Fußweg in etwa 20 Minuten erreichen. Auf dem Rückweg geht es dabei meist bergauf. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!

Stay went as planned

Large house in quiet neighborhood. The owner was flexible on check in hours and we thank him for that.Lots of stairs, not a problem for young people, but a challenge for people over 70 in your group.. Parking can be a bit of a challenge for 2 cars depending on how late one returns in the evening, but that applies to nearly all homes in Paris.

Très bon séjour , tout était bien expliqué à l’aide de petite note. Il y avait même une revue expliquant tout dans les moindres détails. Un jardin très cosy , et une belle décoration. Nos hemos alojado un grupo de 10 amigos. La atención del propietario ha sido excelente, ha sido muy amable y atento. Ubicación ideal, zona muy tranquila y muy bien comunicada con el centro de París. Casa provista de todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. Sin duda la recomendamos. Nous étions 10 amis. L'attention du propriétaire a été excellente, il a été très gentil et attentionné. Emplacement idéal, quartier très calme mais très bien relié au centre de Paris. Maison fournie avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour un séjour agréable. Nous le recommandons sans hésiter.

Situation idéale pour visiter Paris

Avons passé un agréable séjour en famille. Maison ancienne suffisamment spacieuse pour 10 personnes (même s'il a fallu jongler avec la seule salle de bain .....). En tout cas idéalement placée dans un quartier très calme. Impeccable pour visiter Paris sans voiture.
