85m² apartment on the ground floor just refurbished, in a building in the historic center, very bright, quiet and welcoming. In a strategic position a few pleasant steps from Piazza Bovio, the Museum of the Sea and the main avenue of Piombino full of clubs and delicious restaurants / taverns. The descent to the sea is a few meters from the hotel and is a 10-minute walk from the train station. The town beach is a 3-minute walk away, while the most beautiful beaches are easily reachable in a few minutes by car, such as Calamoresca, the Gulf of Baratti, Carbonifera, Torre Mozza, Punta Ala and an hour by shuttle-ferry from the island d'Elba, easily accessible from the port of Piombino.

Our Stay in Piombino

The apartment is very large and spacious. It is a bit dark during the day so you need to use the lights. It is in a great location my main issue were with the owner. Our main things we are looking for is a great location, TV, Internet, parking and an owner who speaks English so we can get an understanding of the apartment and location. There was confusion on the parking it is just public street parking, the TV had a problem, the owner could not meet us so he sent his girl friend who does not speak English so all she could do was point where the oven Etc was with no instruction on how the heating or anything worked and left after about 2 minutes. Half way through our 6 day stay the Internet got very slow when we emailed the owner he simply said you have used all the high speed and we not giving you anymore so we were reduced to the equivalent of dial up speeds. The owner has a lot to learn about customer service. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is the nice apartment.
