Excellent chalet, we will be back

Lovely quaint chalet, with fantastic views and lovely garden to sit in. The chalet was well equipped and very comfortable. We had two weeks of great cycling. Great spot to access all the great climbs.

Lovely cottage, beautiful location

We were a couple and family of 4 with children aged 8 and 16. The cottage was in a beautiful location with wonderful views. The interior and garden were very lovingly done up - it felt like a real home. The house was very well equipped. We had easy access from there to lots of lovely hikes and there was also a nice golf course nearby which we played on once. The owners were in touch regularly and very helpful.

My adult family and I stayed for four wonderful nights in this charming beautifully situated cottage. The Campan Valley is a piece of Heaven on earth, the cottage itself had everything you could possibly want for a family stay and we cooked most of our meals there and played board games in the evening. We met Jean Michel on the evening of our arrival and he had baked a lovely cake to welcome us. We had several outings and hikes in the beautiful surrounding countryside and the sight of the mountains in the morning and the beautiful birdsong is a balm to the soul. There was even a blackbird nesting under the eaves of the cottage with a nest of little ones. We hope to return to this beautiful house and I want to thank our hosts Chantal and 'Mick' for a holiday we will always treasure. Mary Pooley and family.

Heavenly Stay in the Pyranees

Bruno and Chantal are fabulous hosts. The home is beyond lovely! Our vacation was planned based on the Tour de France. We wanted to ride two of the hills before the race came through, and to ride to the top of the Tourmalet to watch stage 6. It was a complex trip to organize, including high quality bike rentals, mapping locations and local expertise. Bruno and Chantal helped us with make this dream come true. Their home is creatively decorated, very comfortable and thoughtfully stocked. The views are incomparable, we watched the clouds move in and out of the mountains and loved the colorful garden plantings. We were met by their house manager Ami, who explained everything we needed to know during our stay, she even drove to the market so that we could follow her in our car to get our initial groceries. We have stayed in many rental homes over the past 20 years and this one really stands above the rest. Thank you!

Idyllic perfection!

Chantal’s gite is wonderfully situated in view of the mountains and right in the heart of all there is to do in the Pyrenees. There’s a great bakery nearby, and the close towns of Campan and Bagneres de Bigorre had everything we needed: groceries, a lovely market, cute shops and patisseries, and good restaurants and bars. We enjoyed bike rides along Tour de France routes, swimming in nearby streams and rivers, and hikes from the door of the house, as well as from Campan and Col d’Aspin. The check in process with Catherine was wonderful—she gave us loads of insider tips about things to do in the area, and made us feel very welcome in the house. The house feels loved and every little detail is well thought out. The kitchen had enormous amounts of cooking pots, pans, and everything we needed to cook and grill. We ate most meals in the gorgeous manicured garden, overlooking the mountains. It was a dream vacation in a dream location. The beds and bathrooms were also very clean, comfortable, and beautiful. A master craftsman designed this house, and it shows in all the little wooden and stonework details throughout the property. We’ve never stayed in a nicer place, and I can’t imagine we’ll ever find it’s equal!

Deuxième année que nous venons en famille à la grange, et nous sommes toujours ravis de notre séjour. La maison est très bien rénovée tout en conservant le charme et le caractère typique d’une grange.Elle est idéalement située, au calme, avec une très belle vue sur la vallée.Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de la maman de la responsable, qui nous a aussi donné de précieux conseils pour découvrir la région. Un grand merci à elle pour sa gentillesse.On se sent rapidement comme chez soi et on prend vite ses repères.C’est une maison propre, agréable, où nous aimons revenir pour les vacances.

Vacances Printemps en Famille

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison chaleureuse et très bien équipée, située dans un cadre calme et propice aux belles balades en pleine nature. Les enfants ont adoré chasser les œufs dans le jardin.L’accueil a été particulièrement agréable, avec la maman du logeur qui nous a reçus avec gentillesse et attention (bonne tourte et une excellente confiture). La communication avec le logeur a été fluide, claire et très sympathique, ce qui a grandement facilité notre séjour. Une adresse à recommander sans hésiter !

Séjour en famille très appreciable

Nous avons passé 4 jours très chaleureux en famille, dans cette magnifique grange très bien rénovée par les propriétaires, très bien décorée et équipée. Nous avons avons été accueilli chaleureusement par Annie, qui nous a mis à l'aise et permis de profiter de la maison. Nous avons trouvée la grange sans difficulté, toutes les consignes pour l'utilisation des équipements et autres commodités des lieux étaient très claires. Je remercie la propriétaire Chantal pour tout ses précieux renseignements et sa gentillesse.

Magnifique séjour

Gite à recommander vivement pour son confort, tout est prévu, pour son esthétique, son excellente localisation, au carrefour de superbes balades dans les vallées et au pic de Midi. Magnifique séjour dans une sublime demeure.

Toute mon équipe et moi même avons été enchantés de notre séjour à la Grange Gassiole à CAMPAN (65). C'est une maison splendide super bien aménagée dans un cadre magnifique. Je la recommande à ceux qui hésitent. De plus les propriétaires sont très sympathiques. Nous en gardons un excellent souvenir et il est fort possible que nous y retournions, nous n'avons pas pu en une semaine visiter toutes cette maqgnifique région.

Charmante grange rénovée avec beaucoup de goût dans le respect des traditions. Grand espace de vie, nous étions 8 adultes et 1enfant de 2 ans. Nous étions très à l'aise.
