About this property
Historic Train Car close to Mains Street! Walk everywhere!
Want to experience what it was like to ride in a Pullman car while crossing this great country of ours? The 1894 Private Palace Pullman Car will give you that feeling and more! Theodore Roosevelt used this car on one of his trips to the 6666 Ranch in North Texas. It is believed that the Indian Chief – Quanah Parker has also ridden in this unique Pullman Car. History surrounds you in every nook and cranny. This wonderful antique train car was built in 1894 by Pullman for the Quanah, Acme and Pacific railroad. Not only is the car historic, but it is very Romantic and perfect for a 'Just the Two of You' Getaway.

It was a super cool place. The train is not necessarily in prime location but is walking distance to main St. And very close to HEB for supplies. Every thing in the train car seemed unique to the FDR theme. The train is very large and comfortable. Overall we just loved the whole experience of sleeping on a train car. It was so interesting and fun!
This property is beyond what the photos show it’s in a prime area easy to get anywhere you might be going. I would stay here again without a doubt. If you want unique this is it
If you're looking for a historical experience this is it! A nice stay in a train car with fun USA and Texas history. Just a 5 -10 min walk to Main Street with lots of shopping and food, plus a 10 minute walk to the National WWII Pacific Museum.
