Worst VRBO experience to date- robbed for the first NIGHT!! Avoid this host. Should refund 1st night

TERRIBLE; I was in Puerto Rosario to finalise a purchase of a flat - let me explain. Upon arrival in Fuerteventura I couldn't contact the hosts for several hours & many calls, so I asked staff in an estate agent for help. After some time they did eventually get a response from the host (ROMANA MARIA) who explained where to find the flat &gave me a unique code to enter the flat. They even sent a picture of the front door of the flat 2A! The directions weren't very helpful & so I didn't get to the flat/complex until late. I went to room 2A & found the code I had been given did not work; so I tried for HOURS to contact the host on their phone - all to no avail NO ANSWER. In desperation I tried the code on 2 of the other rooms & found the code worked on a different room downstairs labelled 2 (not 2A). The room the code given admitted me to, looked like a building site: no shower surround, no sink to wash in, the shower surround thrown on the bed, the settee in bits, & the flat was dirty. I still couldn't contact the hosts so I slept on the bed wrapped in my own towels. I had a shower in the filthy bathroom before leaving for an appointment at my solicitors. As I left the room a cleaner appeared & seemed to think I should not have been in the room at all!! Upon return Daniel was there & I told him the code provided didn't work & that I was VERY UNHAPPY! Daniel did apologise & said the code given by ROMANA MARIA was wrong. He showed be the code for 2A so my second night was OK

Very place to stay, you need a car to be able to acess the beach from there. But for sure recommend it !

Great value for money.

Location out of town may not suit some but we thought it was great. Roof-top terrace is enormous, with fantastic views. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property. Look forward to staying again in the near future

We only had 2 days in this beautiful 2 bedroom apartment, would have loved to have been staying longer. It had every home comfort and the staff were very helpful. One item we would love to have had was a DVD player as we had brought DVD's with us as TV only had Spanish channels
