Reflecting the effervescent energy of its vibrant north London neighbourhood, this colourful Islington home offers a cavalcade of colour that instantly enlivens the mood as you move from room to room. Split across two storeys, it’s a captivating showcase in contemporary design flair – uncompromising in its deft adventures in colour, and all the better for it...
It's an uplifting embrace that begins in the basement living area and kitchen, light and spacious with a marvellously minimalist feel. With a sweeping open-plan design instantly draws your eyes towards the garden, this sociable space has a touch of Scandinavian hygge with its cosy soft furnishings and characterful log burner. Notes of mint green bring a harmonious flavour to the smart modern kitchen, equipped with all key amenities including a large range cooker. Resplendent in red, the reception room on the upper ground floor has a distinctly refined air with its relaxing cream sofas, vintage rug, marble fireplace and chandelier lighting. Adjoining this space, you’ll find a characterful study area with a home office and bookshelf for those moments where only a little peace and quiet will suffice.
Effortlessly peaceful with charming views out towards a church, the plush principal bedroom has a traditional feel with a relaxing cast-iron framed king-sized bed, open fireplace and vintage furniture (not to mention a striking patterned rug). Offering ample storage space with its capacious fitted wardrobes, the second bedroom plays host to a king-sized bed, coffee table, desk, sofa and bookshelf. Doubling as a tranquil study space by day, the third bedroom offers picturesque views of the garden and presents a mint green sofa that can be used as a double bed. Accessed by a spiral staircase, the fourth single bedroom is an eye-catching attic conversion, offering an irresistibly reposeful space in which to unwind with its exposed beams and soulful skylights. Situated on the second floor, the main family bathroom blends vintage fittings with a creative modern twist, encapsulated by the artistic roll-top bath as its centrepiece. Olive green tiles bring a soothing ambience to the second bathroom which comprises a walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet.
Finally, the enchanting split-level garden is an exemplary space for al fresco entertaining. Accessed through the study or basement reception room, it's a sociable hub for balmy summer evenings with its outdoor dining area and secluded seating areas ensconced by verdant shrubs.

Home Truths:
No smoking, pets or parties! Please note, there is a housekeeper who comes once a week on Mondays for six hours. They will let themselves in and leave once they are finished. The top-floor bedroom is an attic room, so may not be the most comfortable for long-term stays. The single bedroom is not suitable for children under seven or people with mobility issues as it is at the top of a steep spiral staircase and has a low-pitched ceiling. A second sofa bed can be set up in one of the bedrooms if required. Please also be aware that there is no step-free access to this home. Although we always endeavour for accuracy, there may be rare occasions where the listing photography and description do not provide an exact representation of the home’s amenities.
