Cozy Cottage on the mountains in Trentino Alto Adige Valle dei Mocheni

Baita Cavecia is located in a very quiet area with a magnificent view over the entire Valle dei Mocheni, a small, beautiful valley in Trentino in the heart of the Alps. The house is located at 1243m
above sea level in a typical mountain house, surrounded by nature, 10 minutes' drive from the small village of S.Orsola Terme and about 24 km from the city of Trento. It is a place where one feels at peace.
The house is a small wooden mountain hut. The furniture is all antique but restored. It consists of a large room on the first floor with a double bed and a single bed, a room on the ground floor with a french size bed, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen with two comfortable armchairs. In the surroundings you can take long walks in nature.
The house is entirely for guests all areas are accessible.
In the garage there are bins, a barbecue and a table for outside and wood for the winter.
We will be happy to accompany you to the house on the day of your arrival, meet you in the village and together we will go up to the house. We will give you some information and then I will be available for any guest needs during their stay.
In winter in Trentino Alto Adige it is compulsory to have winter tyres and/or snow chains.
These will be necessary in case of snow to reach the house, as the road is very steep.

Great views and beautiful home

We thoroughly enjoyed our mountain stay. Many great hikes and good to just sit on front balcony and enjoy the view and sounds of cow bells, goat bells and church bells. Peaceful and relaxing.

Beautiful location, lovely hosts!

We stayed for three days. Francesca met us in the nearby town and escorted us up the mountain to the property so we could find the way. The home was lovely, clean and comfortable. The views were spectacular! The town provided everything we needed in the form of food and drink. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were very comfortable! Thank you Francesca for welcoming us to your home. ❤️

Fantastic property in stunning location!!

My husband and I stayed here with our three children aged 11,10 & 7 and there was more than enough room for everyone. The house is warm, clean and comfortable with everything you need. The view over the valley is breathtaking and changes every hour. Serena & Francesca are extremely gracious (and patient) hosts. They began taking care of us before we even arrived by assisting us with directions to the cottage when we missed our exit. There was a delicious homemade cake awaiting us along with tea, coffee and other essentials. I was a little nervous about driving back down the mountain as there was a thick mist when we arrived but we had forgotten to get milk. I merely mentioned this in passing and before I knew it they had driven down to the village and come back with milk for us. They even got the log burner started for us and there is an endless supply of wood in the basement. They simply could not have made us feel more welcome. We hope to return for longer next time, highly recommended accommodation. Thank you Serena and Francesca!

Nichts besonderes.

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Haus kann eine Herausforderung sein, insbesondere aufgrund seiner abgelegenen Lage in einem Dorf, das kaum Annehmlichkeiten bietet. Die Erreichbarkeit ist durch einen engen, fast zehnminütigen Anstieg erschwert, was für einige Reisende unbequem sein könnte. Die Nähe zu einem 5G-Turm mag für manche ein Thema sein, das sie berücksichtigen möchten.Der Gastgeber ist sehr kontaktfreudig, was bei einigen Gästen möglicherweise den Eindruck erweckt, dass die Privatsphäre eingeschränkt ist. Die akustische Beschaffenheit des Hauses bedeutet, dass Geräusche von Schritten leicht hörbar sind, was die Ruhe stören könnte. Die Einrichtung ist eher spartanisch, mit nur zwei Sesseln und keiner Couch, was den Komfort für mehr als zwei Personen einschränken kann.Für Gäste, die eine ruhige Umgebung suchen und denen diese Herausforderungen nichts ausmachen, könnte das Haus dennoch in Betracht gezogen werden

Erholung und Entspannung in traumhafter Lage

Wir haben die Zeit im Ferienhaus von Serena und Francesca sehr genossen. Die Lage ist traumhaft schön. Wer Erholung und Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir können das Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.

Entspannung pur in den Bergen

Das Ferienhaus ist gepflegt, ausreichend mit allem, was man braucht ausgestattet und geschmackvoll im ländluchen Stil eingetichtet. Die Lage ist traumhaft, wenn man keinen Trubel um sich herum möchte. Dennoch ist man schnell im Dorf, wo es alles was man braucht, gibt. Auch zwei Restaurants sind zu empfehlen. Die Gastgeberin ist herzluch und hat uns liebevoll empfangen. Neben dem Ferienhaus lebt eine ebenfalls sehr freundliche Familie, die uns auch sehr viele Tipps für Ausflüge und Wanderungen gegeben hat. Unbedingt lohnenswert ist auch eine kurze Wanderung zur Mas la Grisota. Von uns: 5 Sterne

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Traumhafte Lage , sehr schöner Blick auf die Berge, sehr ruhig. Wir haben uns gut erholt. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin und der Nachbarin war sehr nett. Wir würden sehr freundlich empfangen und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Es ist alles da was man braucht. Wunderbare Aussicht, sehr netter Gastgeber, sehr hilfsbereit. Ohne PKW sit man hier aber verloren.

Quando c'è bisogno di montagna...

Grazie a Francesca per il suo incantevole chalet nel quale abbiamo trascorso un vero week-end di relax. Le montagne innevate dalle nevicate dei giorni scorsi sono sempre la cornice migliore per un week-end di evasione. Tutto superlativo sia come accoglienza che come casa che come panorama!

Sehr sehr entspannte Ferien...

Wir haben uns sehr sehr woh gefühlt und die sehr guten Bewertungen im Vorfeld sind absolut gerechtfertigt. Es fehlt an nichts. Francesca war total bemüht und uns bereits bei der Ankunft ein Gefühl von italienischer Willkommenskultur mit einem Kuchen und Olivenöl vermittelt. Vielen vielen Dank!

Abseits des Trubels gelegen wie man es sich wünscht, mit einem herrlichen Blick ins Tal, der ideale Ort für jeden der Ruhe und Erholung sucht. Von Francesca wurden wir sehr herzlich begrüßt und mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen und Wein empfangen - mille grazie. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen, wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit dort verbracht.

Fast wie Zuhause

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in diesem sehr sauberen und gemütlichen Ferienhaus. Es war alles da, so wie Zuhause. Die Betten gemacht, Kaffee im Haus und eine sehr liebevolle Gastgeberin vor Ort. Nach schönen Wandertouren in der Umgebung haben wir abends gemütlich am Feuer gesessen und den Urlaub genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Francesca hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert.
