This gite was adequately eqipped. It is quite remote and bucolic with a relaxed farm environment. If you want Maccas, restaurants, shopping, then this is not for you. The owners were very friendly and helpful with information and directions. Not a lot happens around the area, but there are lots of interesting little towns and plenty of walking in lovely countryside.

Dirty rundown
Broken furniture, stained soft furnishings and duvet cover, worn unusable kitchen equipment eg broken chipped chopping board, outdoor table broken and dirty paint covered. Patio doors rotten and broken so unusable. Pool unusable as full of green algae (even if weather had been warmer) pool area piled up with old stained loungers. NO cleaning had been carried out at this property prior to arrival, fridge a health hazard , kitchen cupboards had visible build up of dirt and grease, shower stained and dirty. All areas needed mopping and cleaning by us before use including cleaning furniture and even mopping ceilings, windows etc due to amount of cobwebs. No ipc taken into account (maybe no pandemic here). This is the dirtiest rundown accommodation we have ever stayed in Worldwide. Could be nice but needs some serious attention paying and a very deep clean. This list is not exhaustive. Cheap but not cheerful

I am horrified at these comments.
The swimming pool is shut down for the winter and debris collects on the bottom, there is no point cleaning this until the weather is good enough to ready the pool for the better weather. The state that the gite was left in was awful, the bin was overflowing onto the floor, it also contained items which should have been recycle, so I had to go through the bin by hand when clearly marked there are recycle bins just outside. The kitchen is fully equipped and they were told if anything was missing or needed just ask, not difficult to do as I live on site. The soft furnishing were all new last year. The furniture had new covers also last year. The fridge is not new but definatley a health hazard. The shower is spotless. Yes the patio doors need some attention they are sticking and not so easy to open. These people did not speak to anyone here from the day they arrived and seemed to drink and argue a lot. I was very suprised by the way they left the property so much so for the first time ever after a customer has left I took photos.
This was a lovely setting in a very quiet area. Created a great base to go and look at properties with very friendly hosts.

I arrived on a cold wet and breezy day.
Was met by viv who was very welcoming and showed me to the cottage it was warm and cozy.
I would def stay again although maybe longer next time.
